There was a bit in one of our Sunday newspaper supplement things about beach glass art, including jewelry. Not that our Rocky Mountain Bunneh is likely to have much access to a beach to pick up glass from....

Right now, I'm working mostly with brass and bronze and copper and glass. I'm sorta trying to go for a steampunk look. I'll probably branch out into other metals/materials as I learn more and want to experiment more. :)

Linky? I don't have access to a beach, but my folks are retired and living in Florida these days... :)

Re: "Neat" Pictures

Hey, rememebr the Furry French Orangina commercials?

1) Googles "French animated Orangina commercial."

2) Finds this:

3) Loses SAN.

:nonp:

Well...

They made sequels!

For your viewing pleasure, a hyena-woman:

And a giraffe-gal who knows what she wants!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfskIko9c-8

Two things struck me as I watched these.

1) Is it just me, or does that hyena-gal especially hit the Uncanny Valley?

2) How long until we see 'furry' characters in a otherwise fully human-cast TV show or movie?

Why' date=' OH WHY, did I click on that?!?[/quote']

You need to buy up your EGO score, so you can succeed with the check more easily. Then you might not click on such obvious SAN-loss causing traps.

Re: "Neat" Pictures

Yet more furry French Orangina commercials!

One with a horsecowgirl that seems a trifle... suggestive:

And one that is even stranger here:

Man, those wacky French.

Re: "Neat" Pictures

I wasn't aware that youtube was posting pictures?

I'm sure we have a random youtube/movies thread they could be posted to (more appropriate)

Oh I don't know, that Octopus Girl Thing is kinda hot. And definitely sexier than the Octomum.:)

Re: "Neat" Pictures

This is a site of scanned Chinese comic books, which I could probably spend dozens of hours leafing through:

http://www.89890.com/list/comic_1_1.htm

It's a little tricky to navigate, but basically there's a main menu bar across the top, clickable submenus by each thumbnail, then a numbered menu under each new link which indicates issue number, and then under that you can pull up individual scanned pages. Awesome.

I will probably post a few images from there when I get a chance.
