Do you represent the Lollipop Guild' date=' or are you some kind of strike-breaking Munchkin scab?[/quote']

No, we merely resemble--but are legally distinct from--the Lollipop Guild.

Who told you to sing? You just used up today's bathroom break.

(Hardass.)

I heard that!

I was on a Southwest flight several years ago where the flight attendant said, "Like all domestic flights, this is a non-smoking flight. If any of you wish to smoke, please let us know so we can escort you to the smoking section, which is located on the wing of the aircraft."

Well I'm glad the airline had a smoking wing... :D

"The squamous cultist croaks a word with his dying breath, and then is silent. You draw a long breath of relief, the threat of the cult is over.

Then you feel a grinding throb through the soles of your feet, and a moment later a bloody sun sets the midnight sky on fire."

Re: "Neat" Pictures

There's a missile silo for sale outside of Denver, and on the info page they have this picture

MissileInPlaceTitan.jpg

Somehow I doubt the site comes with the missile in place...

Where does Teh Bunneh live again?

That looks suspiciously like the missle they used as the launch vehicle for The Phoenix in Star Trek: First Contact.

Re: "Neat" Pictures

I find myself thinking about the two-part structure of the evacuated region. The rough sphere in contact with the muzzle is probably just the gases that (in air) make the muzzle flash, but the "rifled" striping on the long tail probably come at least in part from the spinning bullet entraining water downrange of the initial gas bubble.

You are over-thinking it. It's just a gun that shoots ice cream cones.

I'm wondering why the bullet has apparently exited the barrel and turned downward

The muzzle sphere may be partly the result of the gases that exit the barrel before the bullet does. Once the bullet exits the barrel, it's going to cavitate a lot.

Bullets aren't designed to travel in water, so they're not stable in that medium. There's a youtube associated with that picture; in it, you can see that the bullet turns sideways almost immediately and comes apart. It only makes it 2-3 feet through the water.
