Much obliged for your reply to my previous inquiry , and sorry to bother you again, but the discussion that my question raised elsewhere on the boards has spawned another point of contention. Turns out that the rulebook and FAQ are not clearcut enough for all of us regarding this, so to put it unambiguously:

 

Can the 5-point Combat Skill Level for all Ranged Combat be used for DCV against Ranged attacks, as well as for OCV? (Excluding that the GM can allow anything he wants, of course.)

I'm not sure I understand what the contention is about. The text on 5ER 54 seems to answer your question explicitly. If that doesn't fully address your concern, please feel free to re-phrase and post again.
