JakSpade
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects I will be working on converting Stargate SG-1 over to HERO, revised package deals (pointing to packages from the various Hero books), adding alien races, gear, ships, etc. This might include a quick trip to the looney bin. I've touched on a Pulp version of Stargate, based on an SG-1 episode involving 1945 era research. If I'm successful, I'll add Stargate Atlantis to that project. Wish me luck. Wolfe-Chan
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects I will be working on my Wuxia Shaolin Temple Campaign (Still need a name for it?) So far done most of THe back ground and setting. Here is the thread I started last year about it. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37454 Well still need to finish off the Temple maps and create a few more NPC's. And work on a few more species specific Anthropomorphic Martial arts for PC's and npc's. Right now I am creating some Taoist magical weapons and armour. I have a bunch of work for this year. Have fun with all your hero projects!
Lethosos
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects I *still* need to actually pound out the beginnings of the material for The World of the Eight Sages. I already have this neat idea for an MMORPG that's making me itch to scribble down the concepts and stuff, so it's all difficult to ignore just to start this. Not to mention actually get into a local HERO group--I only got one response, and they haven't even bothered to PM me back. Stupid gits. Eodin
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects Once I get things back on track, I will continue with TravellerHERO 1.x. I'm slowly working on Star Hero Adventures as time permits, hoping it becomes a book for sale, but if not we'll see what becomes of it. With the foster kids and work, life is somewhat more complicated

I hope you post your conversions when you get them completed. (Or sooner.) For 2k6, I'm planning to continue running two separate campaigns in my Star Hero setting, Depths of Space. I want to get my High End DC:tAS campaign arc in the RCU finished and work out the details of my Fourth Age game and possible return to it. The biggest thing is my Depths of Space setting, though. I want to map out the system and the various planets involved. I'm considering writing some more fiction detailing some history of the setting as well. Super Squirrel has offered up his site to host campaign information and you're all welcome to snipe stuff at your leisure.

Doug Limmer
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects This may be biting of more than I can chew, but I hope to work out a complete, detailed HERO version of The Great Sage Equalling Heaven from the unabridged (translated) copy of Journey to the West I got for Christmas. Thia Halmades
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects Reconstructing the rest of my Fantasy Campaign out of d20 into its core plasmic form, and then pouring it into HERO molds so at long last, the whole thing works the way I need it too. Continue my Ravenloft campaign, full of d20 board gaming goodness. I have some devoted players, but I need to build new and interesting ways to scare them brothers to death. Finish builds for Sea Orks, complete the write up of Aelfin history and Imperial history, map out the 'core' sections of the new wars that are raging, and get the main arc for the next section completed (which will take about a half year to a year to actually run the PCs through, if not longer). Revise the skeleton of the main arc to account for PC changes, dramatic events and intelligent design and plot reaction. Some lieutenants of the enemy were slain, some plans thwarted, the PCs are solidly "on the radar" the Adversary and that may or may not bode well for them. CandidGamera
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects I am all about pet projects. I'm working on a sorting of my comic books; I'm working my way through every Mystery Science Theater episode ever; and on the gaming front I will finally, at last, start my second major full-production D&D campaign. I seriously waffled back and forth between converting it to HERO or leaving it as-is. I ultimately decided that d20 lets me improvise more smoothly and swiftly, and provides me with built-in power "tiering". My problem with HERO was that I don't like PCs *not* paying for cool equipment in the (heroic version) system, but I can't really accept them having to spend precious character points on random finds, either, were I to use the superheroic system. D&D does have that handy 'GP Value / Character Level' correspondence. One other thing I have been working on as time permits is converting RIFTS to HERO. RIFTS - lousiest system on Earth, but great setting. I'd like to put a major dent in that this year.

ghost-angel
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects I came up with an idea!! Purchase all the DOJ books I don't own (42 currently.. been strapped for cash hard core the last two years - not so much this year!) ... and create a massive over reaching Index of all the books so I know where the heck everything is! Oh, and learn how to ride a motorcycle and purchase said vehicle.
Curufea
Re: Your "2006" Pet Gaming Projects It may be easier just to ask the writers to bring out a consolidated index and have it put in the free stuff...
