Lord Liaden
Cameos and guest-villain spots on Batman became hot tickets in Hollywood. Batman and Green Hornet had a crossover storyline at one point, including a fight scene between the two pairs of heroes. Imagine, Bruce Lee had to pretend that Burt Ward could match him hand-to-hand. wcw43921
By all rights, there should have been a cameo of Leonard Nimoy as Spock. Batman and Robin could have climbed past the window, then Spock would have opened it, looked up at them, and said, "Most Illogical." It would have killed, I tell you. Killed. Lord Liaden
Star Trek had little more than a cult following during its initial run. Most TV viewers wouldn't have recognized Spock. The cameos appear to have been reserved for celebrities with name recognition and/or clout. The exception being Green Hornet and Kato, whose TV series was being produced by the same studio and network.

Well, I do remember--just barely--Nimoy's appearance as Spock on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. He was partially in costume but completely in makeup and in character, saying things like, "If Zsa-Zsa Gabor married Minnehaha, she'd be Zsa-Zsa Haha." If he was good enough for Laugh-In, he's good enough for Batman.

On one hand, I suspect so (I doubt they could have arranged faux liquor at the locations where they filmed). On the other hand, that's a pretty impressive night of carousing, causing me to wonder how they managed it without passing out,
