Genres HERO GAMES may want to avoid (intended to be humorous)

Soap Opera Hero (Will Valerie find out that her lover is secretly Mechanon? Will Takahide Yakamura ever recover from his Sacrifice Throw induced Coma? Find out this and much more on... "As the Dice Roll!")

XXX Hero (No more needs to be said... Well, it has nothing to do with Vin Diesel or the State of the Union.)

Happy Tree Hero (Again... The less said, the better)

Sprite Hero (Based on Bob & George or 8-bit Theater. Good comics, but not exactly ideal for games)

Nascar Hero (We all know that Nascar and Gaming don't mix! :P)

Blaxploitation Hero (A subset of Dark Champions that is guaranteed to offend any African American.)

Furry Hero (I'm a fur fan, but given how the media depicts us (rather defamingly), it either better be good stuff or simply avoided.)

Chumpions (the inept Champions)

Dork Chumpions (Dark Champions gone incompetent)

I disagree here - we had a few sessions based on Mystery Men - it was fun!

Anyhow thought I'd add -

Hero Hero (what are Steve Long's stats again?)

Yeah. Besides, there's already a D20 game of this.

Playground HERO

No way! Playground Hero would be SOOOO cool! It'd be like a mix of Teen Champions and Lunch Money...

Heheh... Spinning Backfist!

(EDIT: A buddy of mine wrote up a kid character for an old campaign who had "Schoolyard Martial Arts, with maneuvers like Shove/Takeaway, Trip and Sacrifice Takedown (where he throws you down and lands on top of you)... ah, the fun days...

Jak :ugly:
