Highlander Memories HERO

Methos: Don't you love how everything gets exaggerated? We fought in the Trojan War, and we both know Helen of Troy didn't have that great a face (but what a body!). And only a hundred ships were launched, not a thousand.

Kronos: True, but it's bad form writing about "the @r$e that launched a hundred ships," no?

Juke-box HE-RO

Got stars in his eyes!

sing it with me!

JUKE-BOX HE-RO

He got one guitar!

Campaigns start in a town without a name

In a heavy downpour.

Characters have got to stay on top!

And things come full circle yet again. A friend recently downloaded the RockBand version of Jukeox Hero. It's a tough song to sing, but my point is that JBH has made it into the gaming world!

It came alive tonight!

HERO Sandwich

"--- And today's episode of HERO Chef, we have Dr. Destroyer, the reigning champion versus the Silver Server, former Herald of Galactimus Prime, now head saucier at Chez Priceé, Manhattan."

"They're wheeling in the Secret ingredient that must be used in every dish they prepare tonight and it's... Lobster! Oh, that's a bit of bad luck for the silver Server, as he has a deadly allergy to shellfish -- developed when he was captured by the Fearsome Nautilus of Cincinnati Ohio! Looks like Dr. D has subverted the system again to his benefit! Can no-one stop this madman in his quest for culinary world domination?"

"No, wait! Silver Server is using his telekinesis to handle the lobster. All is not lost!"

"That's right, Bob! ...And Doctor Destroyer doesn't look happy! Was that a chair he just threw at Server?"

"More action on Hero Chef, right after these commercials!..."

Spaghetti Hero

They make yakisoba sandwiches in Japan -- they're a school-lunch staple. A Spaghetti Hero might be tasty (albeit messy).

And of course, Spaghetti Western HERO is actually a pretty viable genre; dial typical Western hero up a notch or two in the grittiness factor and you have a good start.

I've had meatball heroes before, but never a spaghetti hero.
