Re: Genres HERO GAMES may want to avoid (intended to be humorous)

:)

Politically Correct Hero

Impulsively Random Special Needs = Accidental Change

Experienced = Age

Health and Welbeing Special Need Requirements = Dependence

Carer = Dependent NPC

Appearance Enhancements = Distinctive Features

Anger issues = Enraged/Berserk

Needed = Hunted

Differently Physical (or Physically Challenged) = Physical Limitation

Individual Outlook = Psychological Limitation

Socially Advantaged = Reputation

Competitive = Rivalry

Socially Challenged = Social Limitation

Environmentally Challenged = Susceptibility

Differently Lucky = Unluck

Differently Invulnerable = Vulnerability

And another idea occured-

Game Publisher Hero

"You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later."

Sigh.

Emoticon Hero (:dyn This is Defender)

Triumph Hero (with stats for the infamous Insult Comic Dog)

Soap Opera Hero Vol. II (Who shot Doctor Destroyer? Was it Valerius the Harper? Mechanon? Wilson? The Fatman? Blooperman? Defender? Or someone else? Find out, on "As the Dice Roll!")

Cardboard Hero

I think Gurps has that as a line of Miniatures, including some Champions characters. :P

Actually, that's Cardboard Heroes. Oops.

Euphamistic Hero, if you know what I mean...

Heaven Hero (the place seems awfully boring.)

Hell Hero (too depressing)

Katamari Hero (all you do is roll-up huge balls of junk and turn them into stars. Absolutely not for those with Codes against Killing.)

Researcher HERO --- your character spends his time looking stuff up in dusty piles of old books, scuttling through library stacks, poring over minutia, etc.

Oh but I do play "Research Hero" anytime I happen to play Call of Cthulhu with that detailed-obsessed guy of our Master.

And after all I like it also..

Ciao

"The Office" HERO - The PCs work in an office managed by David Brent.

and on another office-flavored bend...

Office Space HERO - Yeah... I'm gonna need you to come in on Saturday... yeah... to work on those character sheets... If you could get those done by game time, that would be great...
