SteveZilla
Re: Order of the Stick Design a Spell to tell you everywhere something isn't? Like almost everything in D&D, there are no "building blocks" to work with, so we're left with the GM giving his stamp of approval (or veto). SteveZilla
Re: Order of the Stick #628 is up! (with lag) And it's bastardly! Now...just who is/are V's kid(s)? Pompey maybe even? And is V the father or mother? I noticed in panel 11 that the forcecage is back, intact. Was it not removed by the Anti-Magic Field*? *Which is magic too, right? If it is back, I wonder if the Dragon is going to use it somehow to restrain V -- using V's own magic against him.
SteveZilla
Re: Order of the Stick The Black Dragon just got 4 extra dice on it's presence attack. I believe anti-magic field only suppresses magic in its area of effect, it doesn't dispell magic.

OddHat
Re: Order of the Stick I'm going with the "V has kids" theory. We know s/he's married; no reason an elf couldn't have a few kids and then, seventy or so years later when the children are old enough to leave home, resume an adventuring career. James Gillen
Re: Order of the Stick I'd make the assumption V already has kids and the dragon knows it. I would say V's facial reaction indicates that s/he has kids, and it would be that much more shocking if V had tried to conceal that fact from everyone else. jg

And you gotta love those gender-less elven translations. I wonder if V and the other parent refer to each other as "Other Parent". but right about now might be... ...the right time to say the right 4 words to the right entity: To the Imp: "I Accept Your Offer." I really don't want to see V turn to the Dark Side. Though I have no idea what the Imp could do to help. And the thoughts of an invisible/scrying Dragon gives me shivers.
