Sociotard
Re: Order of the Stick I would've thougth the fiends had a plan to recapture some of their most valuable souls. Since they didn't exactly give V a redbox envelope, I can only assume that they intended for them to be let loose thusly. Unless the "we own your soul" timer keeps ticking until V returns them to the fiends directly. Which would be, admitedly, fiendish.

SteveZilla
Re: Order of the Stick Has she passed the bar on the actual world or just her home plane? She defended the OotS in the trial in Azure City, so I would presume she is able to practice Law on the actual world. Because of this comic I have pondered if there could be a Chaotic Law(yer) alignment.

Sociotard
Re: Order of the Stick Too bad Haley still doesn't have that Wint-o-green Bow. That was fun. And having clients who back out of agreements at the first opportunity (lethally so) will do nightmares for Celia's legal reputation

I think she still does...look at the title of the strip. It might not have just procc'ed. As for Celia, Lawful Naive can be just as dangerous as Lawful Stupid or Lawful Anal... Hermit
Re: Order of the Stick The Order sure has gotten a lot darker without Roy's influence. I admit, that was a bit more ruthless than I was expecting from Haley. She's favoring the Chaotic over the Good right now I think.

Hugh Neilson
Re: Order of the Stick I feel kind of bad for Durkon. He gets the short end of the stick when it comes to spotlight time. I am toying with the idea that Durkon is an NPC because no one wanted to play the Cleric. A fairly classic FRPG situation, at least historically. OddHat
Re: Order of the Stick Don't really buy Durkon as an NPC. Too many spotlight and hero moments earlier in the series, from getting together with the Cleric of Loki to the danger of trees to taking out the Druid. Maybe the player just left the group for a while.

Hermit
Re: Order of the Stick More like the unassertive player who got stuck playing the Cleric because no one else wanted to. JG Uh, tell me about it. I'm in a situation like that myself. Funny thing is, the GM said we needed one of the four basic food groups. Well, I figured I said I'd play either the fighter or thief. Sure enough... someone jumped on the fighter slot. I said "No problem...rogue it is." And then another player said "Do you mind if..." And the next thing I know, out of niceness, I'm holding the cleric bag.
