freakboy6117 Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. hope its OK to post the Midnight Avenger edit the midnight avenger is a Primus silver avenger who was turned by a vampire. due to his tremendous willpower he has contained his blood lust and dark urges and remained a force for good and is the team leader of Primus secret anti occult operations group. he wears the shroud of mist and shadows a mystical cloak that protects him from sunlight and fire for a while at least. for the edit i removed the weaponry and altered the colour scheme from red and blue to silver back and blue reflecting the Primus uniform and his night stalking nemesis of evil role. Freakboy6117, I like the black version, but I think both dark backgrounds make him too hard see for my taste. (speedster - upper middle) used to be my PC but he's an NPC now that I'm GM'ing. Clockwise from the left, they are: Fantastic-Man (commissioned by Mole from these boards - Leader/ Flying Brick w/ Density alteration powers,) Tornado!, Mac Bashtee (Gaelic/Keltic based Mystic - formerly The Albatross until Talisman rolled a 3 with her Hellfire Gate spell in the Shades of Black scenario and we had to send part of the team to the halls of Avalon itself to retrieve him,) Nighthawk (don't know his forum login) who's our stealth specialist, martial artist, mega-bajillionaire, skill-monster, and La Esperjima (don't know her forum login either) who's our shape-shifter w/ size alteration. She can be a whole lotta woman (6 lvls of Growth.) Freakboy - That's a pretty cool recolor job. If you don't mind me asking, what program did you use? I've been doing a lot of coloring of the art I've scanned in from the sourcebooks (see avatar ) and currently don't have anything better than MS Paint. Y'know, the one thing I hated most about having to relocate for my job was losing the best group of players (and friends) I ran in my 20+ years of playing Champions. However, Templar is a very able replacement, and actually has better ideas for season 4 of the Defenders campaign than what I had come up with! The Defenders rule! Miss you guys (and gal).
