Re: Genre-crossover nightmares

I think I'll buy jeans from Eliphas Levi Straus

"In the denim pants of the cowboy astride his faithful horse, of the farmer and rancher working the land and of the miner working under it, of the laborer toiling in the factory, of the hitchhiker and the hobo working their way from place to place across the continent and the world, of the beatnik and the hippie - in all their tough, rivetted, hard wearing pants, is a secret fifth pocket that is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed."

Conan the Barber

(A little off the top, please)

I seem to recall Cohena, the daughter of Diskworld's Cohen the Barbarian, was a hairdresser. And got terrible urges to kill, maim and mutilate whenever she held anything sharp. Like scissors.

Re: Genre-crossover nightmares

I've misplaced my Rainbow Lanterns crib-sheet. What do the different colors represent (again...sorry)?
According to the Wikipedia entry on DC's emotional spectrum:

Red = rage (Animal)

Orange = avarice (Rizzo)

Yellow = fear (Beeker)

Green = willpower (Kermit)

Blue = hope (Robin)

Indigo = compassion (Janice)

Violet = love (Piggy)

Black = death (one I don't recognize, other than that he played "blind Pew" in Muppet Treasure Island)

Would you believe I've seen people trying to tie the Lantern Spectrum into My Little Ponies: Friendship is Magic, of all things?

Most of them have Rainbow Dash as as a Green Lantern, though truth be told I saw Applejack as more of a Green myself, given her nonstop determination to keep the farm going...

Curly' date=' Moe, and Larry the Cable Guy[/quote']

"Hey, Moe! Which one of these wires is the live one? NYYYAHHHH!... Never mind, I found it."

Hmm, anyone up for a genre-crossover night'mare' using the new My Little Ponies cartoon?

Good Nightmare Moon

How did I miss this?!? MLP:FiM reference for the win.

Sadly I don't know what movie you're referring too so I don't know how twisted it would be with a omnicidal maniac lunatic of a nightmare as the main character.
