Re: Genre-crossover nightmares

Oh' date=' great. Zombie Harlan Ellison. The mind boggles.[/quote']

I've a great deal of respect for Ellison as a writer and as an editor. I don't know him as a person.

I have read something of his, um, prima donna attitudes from several sources. I don't like prima donnas (except when they're on stage in a tutu).

But destroy a film? I figure the adage that those who burn books also burn people applies to celluloid as well.

If it's a film of zombie Harlan Ellison on stage in a tutu I'm in favor of burning it.

The palindromedary wonders if this counts as a genre crossover nightmare, so I'm reposting it.

Inspired by the Harlan Ellison thread Lucius quoted

The Secret Lives of Walter Mitty on the Edge of Forever (this sounds like something Moorcock would write)

"Repent, Harley Quinn!" said the TickTock Man

I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, Blacula, Scream

A Boy and His Reservoir Dogs

Dangerous One Vision

Ian MacKinder asked if I were in favor of burning "The film, zombie Harlan Ellison, the stage, or the tutu?"

The palindromedary is in favor of reputizing Ian MacKinder
