The director should be shot, however, for using the Brian De Palma camera stylings. You really shouldn't break the screen into multiple camera shots in a 3D movie. "City of Ember"--Like most folks, I had missed this one when it had come out. It's an interesting story about a city built far underground to protect a small group of humans from an unnamed devastation above. Things go wrong with the timelocked message to the mayors, and the inhabitants end up staying longer than the supplies were really meant to last. I found it enjoyable, even if the story felt a bit like "Logan's Run" for kids in a few places. "Casino Royale"--Another one that I missed in theaters. Bond is just starting out, and is extremely thuggish. Daniel Craig does well in the role, and there's obvious growth to his character. Of course, most of that's due to Dame Judi Dench's role as "M", which is really the character that most attracted my attention here. I had doubts about the reboot style stuff, but it grew on me fast and the story was VERY good. Seriously, if they'd taken the plot and writing for that and put it in the GL liveaction movie, it would have done much better I'm thinking.
