Ternaugh
I'm a little over half-way through the second season of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. I'm having a bunch of fun with some of the references. The banker, Mr. Poe, when describing to the children how a town can take care of the triplets("It takes a village"), states, "I imagine they'll draw lots, like in the wonderful Shirley Jackson story." RDU Neil
Finished the final episode of Season 1 of "Counterpart" last night. New series on Starz, last episode aired yesterday. A very solid character drama / spy thriller / science fiction piece starring the inimitable JK Simmons. Highly recommended. Now for the long sad wait for Season 2. Met her, got autograph and got professional picture with her at a Convention signing The first episode of 3 of Ordeal by Innocence. It had to be reshot as one of the actors was recently accused of 'inappropriate conduct'.

Cassandra
She looks better as a redhead, but that makes sense. I saw her in a TV show as a blonde.
death tribble
Free Fire. An arms deal in a disused factory goes south with both sides trying to kill each other and then the gunmen come in trying to kill everyone. It is good. Swearing, violence and drug taking. And Gillian dyed her hair for the part of Scully. I would share the photograph of the pair of us but I look unbearably smug.
Ternaugh
Spider-Man: Homecoming -- I liked it, and it looked and sounded awesome in 4K/Dolby Atmos*. The Captain America videos are also a fun addition. * I'm now to the point where my home setup is better than most of the local theaters, as far as picture and sound go. death tribble
Argo. The tale of how the CIA spirited six members of the American Embassy out of Iran as they had been hiding out in the Canadian Embassy..This has a slow burn and it works wonderfully. "The Town" is my favorite Affleck film, but "Argo" is a close second.

"The Accountant" was surprisingly not bad from an action stand-point, though the "magical abilities of the autistic" was so heavy handed. I liked that the "twist" was setup well. I commented early how similar the 2s style were, and it was explained well.
