Interesting story but it doesn't really have a conclusion, it just ends. Now I am re-watching Silent Mobius (the TV series), its been a few years and I am getting ready to set-up an Urban Fantasy game in a similar vein. Genetic engineering as body mod fettishism, "Engineers" going mad and being taken down by a privatized police force, whose top hunter is a school-girl age orphan raised by the department. Turned out to be torture porn, absolutely unwatchable. Shame, as I still think the concept would have made for a good story. Mail Japanese TV series adapted from a Manga. A modern psychic detective recieves letters from the dead, then solves the mysteries involved in their deaths, inevitably confronting various ghosts and demons in the process. Good concept, OK execution if you're not put off by the pacing or ultra-cheap CGI. Would have liked it more if I had seen it first 30 years ago. CES Maybe they were stupid and had a death wish? Or maybe they were working on the well-known idea that superheroes don't kill civilians, no matter how annoying they are? Did you get a chance to watch the Versus making of feature? Amazing what you can do on a near zero budget these days. Didn't really like the extended cut of Versus as much as the original cut, probably because the whole "Heroes inevitably become villains" thing annoys me. This one was actually not that bad a C movie to start with, the kind of thing you might watch with friends, or by yourself at 2:00 am. This makes it a prime MST3k. Good riffs, not a bad party dvd.
