Good Read: Dead in the West

In light of saome of the discussions of Crossovers, I thought I'd point out a great read. I just recieved and went straight through (only ~150 pages), Joe Lansdale's Dead in the West today. I don't know if anyone has brought this up, so apologies if it is something that has already been discussed.

Dead in the West is a mix of Western and Horror, specifically Zombie goodness. Darn'd fine book if I do say so m'self. The characters are a bit stereotypical, but the story itself is a funky take on the classic western with more than enough to make it compelling. Lansdale is the same guy that wrote the shortstory Bubba Ho-Tep, so when I saw that I knew I'd picked a winner.
