Derek Hiemforth 525
Here's a silly thread... Who are some actors and actresses that you all think are particularly well-suited to playing Champions Universe characters? I'll start off with one that I think is a slam-dunk no-brainer... Christina Ricci as Mind Slayer
Storm Shadow 2
Re: Casting "Champions Universe: The Motion Picture" I can see Jennifer Love Hewitt as a super strong girl. I like the idea to see a small girl throwing a truck to the enemy So, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Rage

Storm Shadow 2
Re: Casting "Champions Universe: The Motion Picture" As in champions universe there isn't a character like this with a contrast between her body and her power/personality (like power girl in DC for example). This is my humble contribution

tribe 17
Re: Casting "Champions Universe: The Motion Picture" James Marsden as Defender. I see similarities between Cyclops and Defender (both stoic, kind of ... er, plain leader types). Plus Marsden is a good actor and needs another crack at the superhero genre. He'd also play a good rich guy in a tuxedo for the secret ID parts.

clsage 89
Re: Casting "Champions Universe: The Motion Picture" Mechanon probably done as CGI but voiced by Frank Welker. Hmmmm....Or maybe Alan Tudyk (who did the motion capture and voiced Sonny in 'I, Robot'...and was Wash in 'Firefly'). I think that Mechanon could be pretty creepy if given a "quiet, pleasant voice" while he was describing reducing humanity to a pile of rotting flesh. And he was exceptionally creepy when he played a pederast on an episode of 'CSI'.... -Carl-

Or, if we just want to use his amazing voice, perhaps as the voice of Dr. Silverback ? -Carl-

Hmmm....rather than Frank Welkers' voice for Dr Silverback, I instead suggest: Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa He's already played an ape in the Tim Burton version of 'Planet Of The Apes'.... -Carl-

lapsedgamer 19
Re: Casting "Champions Universe: The Motion Picture" Michael Dorn for Ironclad. He is used to playing large, bumpy headed alien tough guys. Christopher Judge (Teal'c from Stargate) is almost interchangeable for this prupose. Isla Fisher from Wedding Crashers for Shrinker. Cute, very small, and good at playing annoying. Leonard Roberts (D.L. from Heroes) for Kinetik. Jewel Staite (Kaylee) for Witchcraft.
Comic 125
Re: Casting "Champions Universe: The Motion Picture" Johnny Depp for.. well, someone, clearly. Dunno who she'd play, but Eliza Dushku has to make it into the front line for the movie poster. Black Mask - Ali Larter. Okay, now that I've brought the thread back on track, carry on.
