How much of this do you want to write up? These are things for you to decide. If you own the Viper of UNTIL books, take a look at the layout there for hints on overall organization, but the scope is up to you. People might tell you what they want to see, but that may or may not be of any help to you.
Lawnmower Boy
Re: The Tiger Squad Sourcebook (Fan Project) Okay, here's how I'd go about it, at first blush. i) Find a template. I think Champions of the North works best. Now the question is, how do we fit this model to the particular subject? ii) Starting with the core of the book, get a sense of what needs to be included, and how it affects the final page count for publishing purposes. I think the answer is the Tiger Squad. CotN has 9 hero writeups, plus two pages of StarForce specific material in 20 pages, plus 4 pages of general law enforcement material including a superagent armour writeup. We've seen another 9 writeups over perhaps another 21 pages that didn't make the cut, but CotN was relatively short, so let's suppose the editor gives you that space. You now have 5pp. for Tiger Squad support material, 38pp. for 18 superhero writeups. That takes you to half of Tiger Squad fullly written up, so you basically need to double this material. (Giving you some room for agent, base and vehicle writeups, but not very much.) You need to shave 40pp of the CotN format. iii) What needs to carry over from the original format? The supervillains, covering 31pp, seem sacrosanct. You have to cut half(!) the material from "History of Canada," "The Canada Gazeteer," and "Gamesmastering Canada," which together take up 75 pages. That'll be tough. iv) So tough that I'm going to assume a little license. If you have as much space as Viper: Coils of the Serpent, you're basically golden. Now, you have 29pp for "History of China," 65 pages for the "Gazeteer," and 15pp for "Gamesmastering China." What you do with that space is going to have to be up to you. Warlocke
Re: The Tiger Squad Sourcebook (Fan Project) I have been folowing this for a while and would like to sugest the folowing: 1) I think Agent 57, Dark Cloud, and Glorios Mind should be reserve members. it seems to me that they would be assigned to the squad, but there spy duties would be there true job and only rarely would they be called to "field duty". 2) I dont have "Book of the Destroyer", so i dont exactly know when Five Star legionnaire and Mountain Spirit were killed but I would seperate them from a runing list of squad members, maybe under "Fallen Comrads" 3) there is mention of Luan as a member (no trope mentioned) in both CU and VVV. 4) you have Earthquake Fist as just Earthquake I hope this is of any help. I also have several ideas for costume apperances and powers for some of the members if your interested. mark (ps. forgive my spelling )
