TygerLily
Re: Do you use miniatures? I apologize for not reading all the posts in this thread, so this might have already been said somewhere. We found a vendor at Gen Con last year; unfortunately, I can't verify the name right now, but I think the company was Fantization Miniatures. They were sharing a booth with someone else that did landscrape stuff. Anyway, they had a complete line of Superhero miniatures. My husband was excited to find them because until now we have always used fantasy miniatures. No clue if they have a website or if they will be at Gen Con again, but maybe you can find them. They've got a pretty decent website, and they do mail order. I've never ordered from them so I don't know what their customer service is like. I think the super minis you saw were Lance & Laser miniatures, IIRC.

Lance and Laser did the "Living Legends" minis. http://lanceandlaser.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=LAL&Category_Code=LL For our champions games we use a mixture of Metal, Cardboard Heroes, HeroClix and heavily modded HeroClix. Steel Guardian. Modded from IronMan HC Tasha's Mini Gallery I use Games Workshop, Hasslefree, Reaper, and a ton of other companies that I have collected though the years. My Cyberwolves are from a game called Legions of Steel, which gave me many robotic monstrosities to paint and use in my games. If it catches my eye and isn't too expensive, it makes it's way into the collection to someday be painted. Tasha
GreyGuardian
Re: Do you use miniatures? I decided to use HeroClix. I bought a few boosters before hand and decided that they were suitable enough. I ended up buying a box of 100 randoms from a site. Now I have to get a carrying case! the single layer tackle boxes you can get at target or walmart work nicely for clix figs.
hooligan x
Re: Do you use miniatures? the single layer tackle boxes you can get at target or walmart work nicely for clix figs. I have half a dozen of those full of modded Heroclix. The new horror clix line is full of good stuff too. I buy most of the figs online as singles. GamingEtc/com And PopularCollections are two retailers I use a lot. I replace the clix bases with 1" hex bases from Hasslefree in the UK. They are the perfect size and cheap as heck. A lot of my mods are the results of doodling in 3D. Some of my best villains came from me gluing leftover parts together.
Diamond_J
Re: Do you use miniatures? Sometimes, although rarely I use minni's. When there's many characters participating in battle I sometimes use minni's for clairifying player and villien locations. Often I just use quick sketch maps with initials for players and NPC's. When somebody moves I draw an arrow connected to a circle that indicats the new location. I should use minni's more, but I get lazy and don't like fishing out my hero clix
