(Group) The Corps

Background: The Corps is a group of former soldier that were exposed to an experimental formula that was supposed to make them superhuman (kind of like the Super-Soldier program that made Captain America). The formula, however, was flawed and in addition to giving them superpowers it also warped their sense of right and wrong. Now they travel the world preforming all manner of criminal acts.

Group Relations: The Corps remains much the same as they did before they gained their powers. They are fiercely loyal to each other and have survived numerous firefights together. Their military discipline allows them to work efficently without communication and they have developed many different special tactics to deal with certain situations.

Tactics: The Corps has developed many tricks since gaining their powers. Two of them being the Flash-Bang, in which Fast Track and Airborne hold their actions until both can go at roughly the same time then use their Flash attacks to both deafen and blind opponents, and the Tag-Team Smash, which involves Leech absorbing some of Stronghold's strength and then the two grab two heavy objects and slam them into their opponent from opposing sides.

Campaign Use: The Corps can serve in the place of any number of Champions supervillian teams, especially the Ultimates, since both teams have a similar background. They can also serve in the place of a rival superhero team for your PC, since they are tightly focused on getting the job done.

Hooks: The scientist responsible for the project that gave the Corps their powers has created an antidote that will reverse their powers but it might also kill them.

The general in charge of the project that created the Corps altered the formula on purpose so that the military would cut the funding and he could sell the formula to the highest bidder. The PC's have discovered this but can they stop him before it's to late? And what about the Corps who are actually the victims?
