Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

I like her story' date=' but the end is not very convincing. Why would she stay in Anchorage? A city that she ended up in by mere coincidence. Why is she not hunting the man who betrayed her? What happened to her cold, cold heart?[/quote']

Why stay in Anchorage. Several reasons I'd say. All her money is gone; she's penniless (even stole the costume she wears). She feels that she owes the city something (especially after destroying almost a city block). Who's to say it was a coincidence? Maybe it was a higher power that brought her and maybe keeping her in Alaska. Never did say that she was a mutant or anything. She'll probably would eventually end up hunting John (if she knew where to find him). As for her cold heart, it shattered on the day when she almost killed the men who assaulted her. She found hope that day to continue in life. Her having super powers was a mere coincidence.;)

RUSSIAN AIR MOB

LINK: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dzqpmkt_852fssdthf

They have various origins. Some love the old soviet union,

some just want to use theirs powers to smash people.

Some follow War Kite for the money.

This band of heavy mercenaries can strike almost anywhere in the world on a moment's notice, from their old airbase in the Urals.

War Kite was an old Soviet fighter pilot, who often escorted

Blinder is his long time buddy, a bomber pilot.

they've been comrades for decades, and got their superpowers

separately and secretly, and it was quite humorous when they

finally had to reveal their identities to each other.

the others have joined them over the years for various missions and reasons.

Bronze Harrier loves War Kite, as much as any 2 super-villains can.

Flanker is a mutant, and hates the United States, but hangs out with the others since they tolerate her looks and harsh voice. Her favorite missions are the ones where they smash any American heroes foolish enough to venture onto the continent. Her armor is not a suit.

Blinder has a multi-purpose tool with large flash attack, and a cutting beam, and targeting levels usable by others

Ravager's origins are cloudy, but definitely mystic. It is believe that she cannot be killed, and she seems to fear no man or device, and tech weapons with fuses, triggers, relays, and switches and such have a distressing tendency to fail in her presence.

All of them excel at move-throughs or move bys aka "The Bombing Run"

Flogger has mental powers, but they may come from (or be amplified by his armored suit)

Kid Dragon is the newest member, and he tries to command the biggest share of any loot, since his armor-piercing fire can be quite deadly, horrendously effective versus men, supers, and machines.

their support man is Doctor Levred Landau, a genius with all manner of physical science and technological edges.

=====================================

what do you fine folks think of that ?

Warkite, the leader? Wow, seems you like him just as much as I do. :king:

I'm in the process of doing a write-up for him. And when I'm done, you're in for a big surprise. :D

I had two more for you. But you can use one of them as an enemy of the group (ejected for some reason) and one would be a spirit of the mountains who hates the modern technological world.

Hey, I realize I'm a little late getting in on the whole Russian Air Mob thing, but do you still have room for one more member?

She's a cyborg . . . not quite full conversion, but enough so to hate the part of her that's still human, and especially to hate the humans who did this to her.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Maybe I didnt state it obviously, but I was brainstorming on the Rogues Gallery portion of the USA-5O.

RUSSIAN VILLAIN TEAM

Cyborg now has her place of 'honor' on the Russians page.

No, its not going to become "a meta-human for each Russian district" :idjit:

plus I put in credits to the artistas

Sure he maybe a little crazy' date=' sure he may have spent some time in a state run mental insitution, but no one can doubt the power of... [b']Арха́нгельск[/b]

or Arkhangelsk

Is he a nominee for the Soviet Air Mob ?

I have an idea for a specific role for him, if so...

or was he just inspired by the previous russian hijinx?

Nice Design.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

(Let's try this again, shall we?)

--

Okay, folks, I need your collective opinion on something.

One of the GMs in our gaming group (five of the seven of us GM at one point or another) is running a New Champions campaign, where the heroes were recruited by the retired Defender, James Harmon IV, to be the next generation of heroes for Freedom City after Harmon's group was disbanded (due to the deaths and/or forced retirements of the previous team members). Well, the New Champions have been successful enough that nobody calls them "New" any more, they're just known as The Champions. And seeing how successful this experiment has been, Harmon has decided to recruit and train another group of heroes.

In other words, the GM has asked us each to write up a new low-powered (300 points, ~8 DC) character to play in his game from time to time.

My character is a low-level brick with high INT, SS: Physics, and a Judo martial arts package. His name is Fulcrum. Yes, he's a geek. But that's okay, so is the player. :D

Anyway, I've designed a costume, but I still haven't quite decided on the logo. In one version, I have a triangle as his logo, implying the fulcrum or pivot point of a lever. On the other, I've actually added in the lever itself. The two costumes, otherwise identical, look like this:

Personally, I prefer the first, but the second is technically more accurate. What say all of you?
