Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

this is an awesome thread. thanks to everyone who contributes such good stuff!

Minute Man is a brick, max human normal, all the time.

then he has little pills he takes, to jolt his Stats up to

superhuman levels.

he's an homage to the old Hour-Man type hero from the Golden Age.

Tejas Twister gets his powers from stolen native american artefacts.

the reason he fights crime in virginia is because he's cursed to never set foot

in (western tribes) territory ever again.

Blue Flame is a reasonable generic flying energy projector,

as is Obelisc vis-a-vis a brick.

NEPTUNE CITY debuted at Mars-Con this year in january.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

the hits just keep on coming:

Professor Challengar

mild mannered scientist, has boosted his own metabolism and intellect.

he also constructs the team's vehicles, robots, submarines, and bases.

PS: don't blame me for the tired old names, Desmaris did all that

Here's something I was fiddling around with earlier tonight. I don't recall if this is exactly the color scheme of the villain in question, but it seems that this is pretty close.

It's an interesting choice to use the athletic build rather than the super, but I think it's a good choice for his base form. It might be neat to do one up in super (or even brute) to contrast as his buff form.

Rejected by the Justice Fraternity as being too outlandish to be respected as superheroes, these four banded together to create their own team: The Sub-Humans!

Hey there,

I'd like to know your opinions about a character of mine. The first picture is from HeroMachine and the second one is the Animated style. Actually I like the HM version better, but what do you think? I know the boots in the HM pic are ridiculous, but hey, so are many costumes of superheroes.

They're both good. I think the athletic build would more closely match the HeroMachine picture, but maybe your hero is supposed to be that muscular. The HeroMachine version does have the "don't mess with me" glare down pat, though. And I like the shirt in that version as well.

Yeah, I was considering the athletic build as well. Maybe, just maybe...

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Today I was goofing around with some ideas. And I came up with versions of the Legion of SuperHeroes. Some where extremely tricky, like Dawnstar's costume or Mon-El's belt region, so I had to go with something simpler.

Have fun!:D
