Egyptoid
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine someone posted an image of a character titled "Nut". That would be me. She is the Egyptian goddess of the Sky. See the original here ; any more Egyptian questions, just ask ! but found the image too small to use. How can you capture the Sky, mortal ? Pariah
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Here's a character design I've been fooling around with for a while and finally committed to paper (so to speak) tonight. The character's name is Pinnacle. He's a standard flying brick, Boy Scout type. I've got four versions of the costume, all the same except for the trim color. Which one looks best, do you think? (Spoilered for length.) Version 1: White trim Version 2: Silver trim Version 3: Bronze trim Version 4: Yellow/Gold trim Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Egyptoid
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine If you want them to be able to ride in a car or other vehicle, I would suggest one of the bipedal versions. If you go with a centauroid, might I suggest the wings be lowered to his equine back rather than attached to his human torso? That way his wings are closer to his CG. Every time you bring physics into a comic book discussion, mother nature kills a catgirl.

That shade of Green(on my screen anyway) just looks out of place on the others Pinnacle # 3 Well, color me surprised! I listed them in order of my own preference (more or less). I could never get a yellow/gold that didn't make him look like a recruiting poster for John Deere, but I figured I'd post it anyway. I was right on that one, at least. But of the remaining three, I thought the white trim gave the sharpest contrast and the cleanest overall look. But I like the silver and bronze, too. Sadly, given my current lack of local gaming buddies, I doubt I'll get to play him any time soon.

I hadn't thought about that. I'm not a big fan of green and orange together. As I think about it, I don't really use orange as a costume color very often, for some reason. I'm not sure why not. I mean, I grew up near Denver, so the precedent is certainly there.
