Michael Hopcroft
5 Worst Crimes Against Burgers: Are You Guilty? I wonder if there is a similar list of crimes against hot dogs. If you're from Chicago, ketchup would be near the top of the list.
Lawnmower Boy
I wonder if there is a similar list of crimes against hot dogs. If you're from Chicago, ketchup would be near the top of the list. If you're from anywhere. Mustard, relish, onions. Other people like other things, and other people are wrong. tkdguy
Cancer
Well, for sausages rather than hot dogs specifically, I'll take mustard, and grilled onions & peppers, which I am given to understand is orthodox in some cultures.
Pariah
In West Virginia, hot dogs are properly eaten with mustard, onions, meat chili (no beans), and cole slaw. It's a lot better than it sounds. tkdguy
Cancer
I picked up a 22-oz bottle of Galactic Imperial Red at Costco and had some of it last night. Good stuff, but I didn't read the bottle carefully and was not prepared for it being 9.5%. Woo. I slept well last night. L. Marcus

Cancer
I have had an aluminum griddle melt, but it was almost certainly due to a casting flaw in the griddle (which was brand new) and not exotic chemistry. It was accompanied by quite a flare, though, as the grease from half a pound of bacon went into the campfire when the corner of the griddle dropped off. Almost as impressive as your video, because I (and all the others in my patrol) were huddled around that fire and not expecting anything unusual when it happened.
