Foods for those that just don't care anymore

I was skeptical of fried lobster before trying it in a Florida restaurant near the coast, but it actually is delicious with fresh lobster.

 

I can also vouch for figs and blue cheese being a great combination, particularly when drizzled with balsamic vinegar.

Oh, I'm sure, but lobster's not alone in that. I've had fried shrimp that was like eating batter-covered rubber before. (Overcooking is also the reason I think there's no place for seafood on pizzas, though I love it separately. The more you cook pork in an oven, the better it gets; the more you cook shellfish, the more similar it becomes to weatherproofing caulk.)
