Well, I certainly wouldn't consider those edible, but I can imagine an emergency use for them.

"Pull!"

I think I have one of those old disc shooter guns in storage someplace. With proper retooling, those Oreos might make effective ammunition.

Although using something like that as ammunition may be a violation of the Geneva Conventions....

Actually, I meant to say it because McDonald's cheeseburgers taste nothing whatsoever like actual cheeseburgers.

I'll take a McDonald's cheeseburger over a Burger King cheeseburger any day.  But I will say that Wendy's cheeseburger beats both of them.

So what's your idea of a good cheeseburger?

Have your henchman begin firing up an outdoor grill using both charcoal and sweet woods (chefs choice) while you mix one third pound sirloin burger, one third veal and one third pork with one whole egg and one yolk spices to taste (salt, pepper, oregano, paprika, etc.)
Divide into patties making sure to indent the middle (the thinner middle insures that the middle and the ends receive the same amount of doneness. Cook to preferred doneness...unless someone requests “well done. Then request volunteers to help restrain the sinner and mark him with a red hot spatula.
Meanwhile the henchman shall prep Sweet Hawaiian rolls with melted butter for toasting on the grill. Place them to be done in time with the burgers. Assemble your creations and place them on the table next to fresh “fixins”  onion and tomato slices, ketchup, mayo, a good quality BBQ sauce etc

    Enjoy.
I’ve been in the hospital all week eating drek.   This was like porn for me.

I prefer the Whopper to either the Big Mac or the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. I think it has a better flavor.

Having said that, you're absolutely correct about a Wendy's cheeseburger being better than either of the above. Carl's Jr./Hardees makes a pretty decent cheeseburger as well.

I've never tried any of the Impossible burgers. I took one look at the nutrition info--the sodium content, specifically--and determined that I could have maybe one in the rest of my life. Not worth it for something masquerading as meat. I'm not that desperate yet.

And I personally find In-N-Out to be profoundly meh.

I find the Whopper to be too much salad on my burger. I'll occasionally order a Whopper Jr, but Burger King is definitely not my first choice.

I'll order a Wendy's Double with Cheese about once every three months. The one near my house is good, the one near one of the casinos that I service is not. When done right, it's very good.

While I used to eat a ton of Double Western Bacon Cheeseburgers when I was younger, I only occasionally go to Carl's Jr now.

I've had the Impossible Whopper twice at the Burger King at work. The first time, it was better than the Whopper, the second, not so much. Definitely not worth the salt or fat.

In-N-Out built a restaurant in the parking lot of the supermarket that I use, and I'll occasionally swing through to pick up dinner after doing some grocery shopping. It's consistent, and the burgers taste good to me. Price isn't bad, either.

Funny, because this is exactly why I prefer Burger King to McDonalds. I like all the lettuce and tomato. To each his own, I suppose.

My favorite at McDonalds was the McDLT, which had the right mix of lettuce and tomato for me. I loved the deep fried apple pies*, and the Steak, Egg, & Cheese bagel, but those have all been gone from my local mix for at least a decade. There isn't really anything on their current menu that would require me to make a trip.

*Over a decade ago, I found that New Zealand McDonalds still have deep fried apple pies, and they were delicious. The Steak, Egg, & Cheese Bagel used to be available at the McDonalds near my Mom's house in Maine, and I'd always do a breakfast run for us on the last day of my visits. They weren't available in 2016, though, and I haven't been back to Maine since Mom died that year.
