Re: in the spirit of christmas!

Thank You Dr. D! It's just what I was picturing! Very cool look.

glad you liked him :)

next up Sakuri Winter, Happy Christmas!

(am pleased with how this one turned out, although the temptation to give her a 60's Green Arrow boxing glove arrow was considerable)

I like this pic of Sakuri' date=' sometimes things in reality look different than they are. That's one reason I like Dr. D's work. Very organic yet a little neveau![/quote']

thanks very much :)

next up, a 'V' inspired character, but i've tried to put a bit of a spin on him, so Alexander Finch, Happy Christmas!

Hey Dr. Destiny, I've been greatly enjoying your art. I must say, your art looks really cool and fresh, and a little haunting too.

Love your style!

I was wondering, there is a Hero Boards Art Guild here, would you consider joining? Check it out...

Keep up the good work!

Hey Doc D', didn't know if you knew this but you can insert an image in your posts instead of inserting them as an attachment. Try the Insert Image icon, which is the yellow one just under the back arrow key. Just a suggestion.:) I think your artwork is great, and would like to see bigger ones, too.

i've actually been putting off doing that, as i don't like giant pics showing up in forums, and deviantart links don't seem to like forums, sorry

next up, Thorny Devil (i put off doing this one for a while, as i knew what i wanted to do, but wasn't sure whether or not i could pull it off)

Re: in the spirit of christmas!

I'm not sure about this one. Is he a hero or a villain?

well, i'm afraid i got very varied reference material for these - ranging from full character sheets for several games and links to actors who'd play them, right through to a quick pencil sketch with colour notes or even a one line rough outline or a screen grab, so i don't always know backgrounds...

Re: in the spirit of christmas!

many thanks again for the kind words - it's much appreciated...

Next up, The Mad Hatter, with a contemporary spin on his abilities. I'm certainly no John Tenniel, so I've deliberately avoided making him look like past versions (for fear of very bad comparisons being made...)

Happy Christmas!
