薔薇語
Re: Doesn't this sound like a gadgeteer villain idea to take over the world? The cell phone was more quickly disseminated across the world than the Polio Vaccine. Yes the world cared more about calling up their cousin in another country than making sure that cousin could walk to the phone. After all if he had a Cell phone, he wouldn't have to walk to it. hm, Dr. D build a mind control device with a cool new cell phone around it. Markets it too, ohh I don't know, Apple. They in turn build tons of them and sell them through AT&T. Soon everyone has one right up next to their ears, receiving all the needed commands for him to take over the world! ITS settle, we must ban all cell phones from now on! La Rose
CGlied
Re: Doesn't this sound like a gadgeteer villain idea to take over the world? It wouldn't be the phones, it'd be the cell towers. Ignoring the fact that the bulk of the world's population is too poor to have easy access to computers. But hey, white middle-class America is all that really matters, right? Balabanto
Re: Doesn't this sound like a gadgeteer villain idea to take over the world? Yeah, and no explanation is apparently forthcoming of how Darkseid transformed the Anti-Life chunk into internet signals, either. Figures. It's something everyone will want to buy and when enough are sold the villain activates a hidden chip and takes over everything. Too late. Bill Gates has already done this one.
