Posted August 26, 200321 yr comment_6577 Greetings, I am building a starship that has FTL travel. One of the optional adders is "Rapid Non Combat Movement" does not have a description in FREd. Can someone shed some light on what this advantage means?? Thanks! Polaris
August 26, 200321 yr comment_193108 Looking over the Star Hero and TE stuff, I dont see any mention of it, nor do any of the ships or drives they have pre-made even use that modifier, so Im at a loss as well. I cant even think of a good explanation on my own that would even begin to make sense, short of say it doubles the NCM speeds, but then why not just buy that normally.

August 27, 200321 yr Author comment_193441 Geoff, I looked on page 84 and am not seeing it. I see "improved noncombat movement"... is "improved" and "rapid" the same? Polaris
August 27, 200321 yr comment_193528 In the left column on page 84, the last bold header is "Improved Acceleration/Deceleration (varies)". About four lines down from that, in italics, is Rapid Noncombat Movement.
August 27, 200321 yr Author comment_193588 Geoff, You're right! I guess I need to read ALL the text before concluding it isn't there... lol. Thanks! Polaris
