From the Barrier power, p 6e1 173, Counteracts Indirectblocks Indirect attacks "made by characters on one side of the Barrier against characters
on the other side". I can read this as either:
(a) "it only works from one side" - ie Indirect attacks pass through in one direction, but not in the other - or
( "it prevents indirect attacks from passing through the barrier" - ie it doesn't matter which side of the Barrier I'm on, Indirect attacks don't get through.
