JmOz
Re: Your favorite champions character Regarding my story... My daughter has been inspired by it, today she introduced her 13 year old human rogue to the Pathfinder group (One of the players HATES Kids as PC's). What only me, my daughter, and the GM knows is that she is a 35 year old halfling rogue...
Guest dan2448
Re: Your favorite champions character I'm really impressed by the inventiveness of many of the character names above. especially Kraken and Troubador. Well done! My favorite Champions character is Mechanon. I really disliked the 2e version, which was, I thought, a really derivative mash up of Batman's Alfred, the HAL 9000 computer from 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Brainiac. But by 3e, and especially 4e, the character was imbued with considerably more depth and originality; a trend capped by the excellent "Book of the Machine." Orion
Re: Your favorite champions character Of the characters I created, Orion is both my favorite and most played. He started out as a Caption Atom knockoff, but lacking a code vs killing, and over the years morphed into a vigilante. Sometimes he was the Punisher with super powers, and others he was a detective that rarely used any powers. His mental state fluctuates regularly, and his hatred of Genocide is about the only thing that never changes. I don't foresee ever playing him again, but his story now forms a key part of the campaign background, and he will anonymously give tips to the heroes so they can stop the bad guys while he keeps out of the spotlight. Kap
Re: Your favorite champions character Fun to play would be BRUTE (Stop me if you have heard this origin before). A Rocket Scientist who was would mutate into a superstrong neanderthal Brick. He would run around saying things like BRUTE SMASH. In his human ID he had an INT of 30... Anyways, so one day we are running through Island of Dr D. Dr D is stoped, but he has launched his satalite, he will still win...I pass the GM a paper. He rolls some dice, He describes me walking over ot a council and smashing it. The players at the table were "How did you know which one to destroy"...I observed that I was a rocket scientist..."No your in your Brute form...your an idiot right now"...I politely informed him that I had an int of 30, and a ton of science skills...They informed me AGAIN that I had been in my super strong form and did not have access to those abilities. That is when I told them about a small 5 point psych lim I had "Likes to play elaborite Practical jokes", and that when I got in my Brute form I retained all of my intelegence. It had been a six month campeign up to that point...I, the player, had to dodge Pizza crusts, empty soda cans, and paper plates... Did your GM have this information (that the character doesn't lose his INT in hit Brute form) and just forget it or fail to notice it at all? He was in on the joke. We would talk after the game about how long I was going to string them along. The paper said something akin to "I smash the guidence system. Rocket Design 15-"
