The Non Sequitor Thread

The items up for sale at the artists' co-op store I go to once or twice a year were ... disappointing ... today.  Nothing really I liked, which is unusual.  (Usually there's stuff I like but can't afford.)

 

Worse, the game store that was a few blocks away is gone.  An entirely different business is in that space now.  I'm not sure I know of a store I can walk into and purchase an RPG or complex boardgame now.

Backstory? Character development? Overall story arc in the campaign? Bah! A character in a fantasy rpg needs NONE of those things.

 

He's an adventurer because he's after fame and fortune. Bashing in some orc skulls is an added bonus.

He puts up with the other characters because they may be able to help him survive and succeed. Otherwise, he wouldn't have anything to do with those jerks.

 

And dungeons look the way they do because the architect was drunk. I swear my game world was filled with drunk architects!
