A graceful stage dancer from a long time ago (say 19th century?) who met her demise at the hands of her lover ( drowned, he was married and trying to cover up the affair).  Now a ghost she has attained mastery at controlling water in whichever form it is in.  She prefers to use her power to "mimic" what she might see as graceful or beautiful in some way.  Be it an action or form, etc.

5 Star Trek fans who actually liked Wesley Crusher (5 actually did? who would have thought), discovering they have low-level superpowered abilities (related to Star Trek encounters, any ST series) they have teamed up to take over the world in the name of Will Wheaton.

Trevor Park was in a horrific auto accident when he was 16 years old, losing an eye, one arm, and both legs.  Luckily for Trevor, his father was a wealthy man.  Lance Park contacted ARGENT to get his son high-tech prosthetic limbs as well as a bionic eye.  Unfortunately, in addition to the money they charged the senior Park, the criminal agency wanted the younger Park to do certain jobs for them:  collecting rare materials or stealing bleeding-edge prototypes.  He agreed - the alternative was a life spent stuck in a hospital bed.

 

To his surprise, Trevor found that he enjoyed living on the wrong side of the law.  When his debt to ARGENT was concluded, Trevor decided to keep committing crimes.  Since he looked like one of the Borg from Star Trek, he decided to take the name One of Five. 

 

In addition to enhanced strength and the ability to see into the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums, One of Five has the ability to hack into computer and security systems.

Replicator

 

Margaret-elle Barret is a chubby girl with a sexy voice. She didn't expect much out of life working a phone sex line to play for her Con trips and collectables.

 

Then she got a regular customer old guy he mostly called just to talk.

 

She ended up really fond of him and loved when he told her weird stories about when he was young like he used to be a big deal in crime or something.

 

Then one day he just stopped calling. Months went by and she received a letter from his attorney he had left her something in his will.

 

In the package was a ring and a diary in a tight spidery scrawl.

 

Margaret-elle thought about selling the ring but she was touched about the gift if confused how the man had found her.

 

Later that night as she sat re-watch TNG and lusting after the delicious Wil Weaton she ran out of snacks.

 

She looked at the empty box and said loudly I wish I had more twinkies and suddenly she had a fresh box sitting in her palm.

 

And that's how the Replicator was born her power is to duplicate any object she has ever touched the objects dissappear after an hour.

 

After reading her old customers diary she discovered he was a famous supervillain called the Forger who stole famous art works then sold multiple copies.

 

Now she's a member of the crushers she provides the teams equipment and is able to create a whole arsenal.

 

Her trade Mark attack is to summon a cup of TEA EARL GREY HOT and throw it into someone's face.

The Ensign is the team's transporter and secret weapon. He commands the smart battleship Fender Fries, using it to drop the team off on a mission, pick them up, bomb the authorities from the sky. The Ensign keeps track of all movement in the operating area to keep his team out of trouble. And the Fries is big enough to allow his team their own quarters if they want to stay on board.

 

But the Ensign doesn't like to massacre people and avoids combat as much as possible, and his team knows better than to try to lead him into a trap so he has to deal with police using the Fries artillery. He would just cut them off and fly away.

Warp Speed

 

Jeffrey s. Toobe has a power that at first glance appears immensely powerful he can warp space around himself to shorten the distance between two points.

 

Unfortunately for Jeff the result is that he can cover a lot of ground fast but gets non of the other benefits of superspeed and all of the disadvantages of teleportation and running.

 

Jeff has learned to be a distraction first and foremost his only defense is his speed so he is in constant motion.

 

Lacking any offensive ability he acquired a bunch of torpedo shaped photonic grenades that he uses to blind and disorient enemies and a stun gun he's had modified to look like a phaser.

 

 

His only other power trick is what he calls the Picard maneuver where he temporarily boosts his warp bubble so he momentarily appears in two places at once but he finds this extremely tiring .

These six former medical professionals have sworn the Hypocritical oath to First Do Harm! illegal human experimention, organ legging and torture are their bread and butter but they are happy to consult on each others personal projects.

Neuro-Tick

 

Dr Carson Nebb was a brilliant neurosurgeon who dragged himself up from the mean streets of Hudson city. Dr Nebb developed an experimental procedure designed to massively enhance intelligence.

 

perhaps it was hubris or just impatience with the slow pace of ethical medical experimentation but one night with the help of several extremely loyal medical students and a top quality surgical robot Dr Nebb conducted his first procedure on him self.

 

The process worked significantly enhancing his intelligence, unfortunately it had several info unforeseen side effects psychopathy delusions and blackouts being the worst.

 

When Dr Nebb woke up from his first post operative blackout he found the grizzly murdered bodies of his students and plans for a device drawn in their blood.

 

After disposing of the bodies and faking his own death Dr Nebb built that device and discovered that during his psychotic fugue he had created a compact insect like device that would penetrate a targets brain and convert them to his obedient servant.

 

Now using his Neuro-Tick infested slaves he commits crimes with bad medicine.

Dr. Darren Riller, DDS, lost his dental practice after performing numerous unnecessary procedures, billing dental insurance for procedures never completed, and so on.  Angry at this, he set out to use his dental skills for revenge.  He kidnapped several former patients who had blown the whistle on him, as well as the prosecuting attorney and members of the dental review board.  For weeks, he tortured them -- and discovered he loved it.  So Riller put out the word to shady organizations that he was available as an interrogator.  Eventually, he ended up a member of Bad Medicine.

He wears his dentist's smock with the number "230" embroidered on the pocket, and has a custom belt to hold his dental / torture tools, as well as his custom-designed anesthetic dart gun and cordless drill (with high-pitched cringe-inducing whine, naturally). 

 

Many people call him "Doctor Driller," but he claims his actual name is 230 (aka "tooth-hurty").

Dr. Darian Tyme is a researcher into aging. Believing he has finally identified the source, he works on finetuning his formula to retard, possibly halt the process altogether. His victims turn up aged beyond belief as he tires to get things right.

Anaesthesia

 

When she puts people out they don't come around unless she wants them to. She came up with a ransom plan that put children unconscious and then threatened their parents and guardians with their premature deaths unless they paid up. She is also responsible for putting several heroes into comas and this helped her colleagues to escape. Thus she is perhaps the most hated of the group. She is also the most normal of the group which can make her vulnerable.

A charismatic surgeon working i plastic surgery who will assure you that you really need that surgery. To avoid cancer ? yes. To make you better looking ? yes. To help you ? No. What he is doing is trying to make the perfect specimen of humanity and he has not succeeded yet.

The Vet

 

Antonio Vetinari was the vetinarian stationed with a group of dog teams on Forward deployment in Afghanistan. When the Forward operations base came under attack by Taliban fighters most of the base personnel was killed during the initial mortar and vehicular IED strike.

 

The next 6 hours was a non stop gun battle when the dust settled a woundrd Antonio and two of the war dogs where all that was left of the FOB. Antonio returned stateside to recover from his injuries and received a honorable discharge and adopted the two dogs.

 

What no-one realised when he was discharged was that something had changed about him during that gunfight. He had learned to kill and discovered he loved it.

 

Antonio and the dogs started out doing bounty hunting when that wasn't enough of a thrill he used his contacts in the criminal world to find higher paying and more brutal work eventually he fell in with Bad medicine who where looking for some more muscle.

 

The vet looks like the punisher in a lab coat carries a load of heavy ordnance and is always followed by his two highly trained and devoted attack dogs.

Cutting and breaking these are the things most people think of when they think of torture. But Dr. Derrick Hass knew the true method of causing pain nerves. As a leading nerotherapist he had seen the strongest of men begging him to make the pain stop. If only there was a way to injure nerves at range. So he began to hire himself out as a freelance torturer to various criminal groups to pay for the creation of his pain ray. Sadly the ray didn't work, at least as he intended. While he never did manage to get it to work he did find that he could transfer his nerve pain to others. Preventing his injury, and weaking them. Thus Nerve joined Bad Medicine.

 

O.k. with over 400 teams we may or may not have done this. I can't recall, so if this is a duplicate someone else can take over.

 

 

The Countess Viviana Sindela may have a bit of a questionable past, and an impossible to place European accent but the Sindela school of Dignity and Destiny has slowly built up a reputation for quality. The Countess being most likely in her 40's but looking at most late 20s is a combination boarding school  and finishing school. Teaching the daughters of the world's rich and powerful not only how o succeed but the classic skills of refinement. Though there is one other part of the school not mentioned in the brochure. Very special young ladies are allowed to go through the pavilion to the classes on supervilliany. Where should they graduate join the Countess supervillian team the Deadlytantes. This years class has six young ladies.

Miss Take

 

This young lady fits in although her family are not rich but she is a chamaeleon able to blend in any environment. She has sponsors in the Underworld who are paying the fees and Claire Jones is being trained as a burglar and thief. She appears to be a mediocore student right plum in the middle of the class. She excels in the extra curricular side of things.

Misanthrope

 

Miss Annabelle Thrope, Hates everyone. Cynical bitter and angry, she communicates entirely in biting sarcasm and cutting barbs. when she was 14 she tried to commit suicide by jumping from her schools roof.she woke up in a shattered planter non the worse for wear her attempt at slitting her wrists failed too when the razor blunted against her skin. and that's how Annabelle ended up in the Special class.

 

Misanthrope is invulnerable but lacks any other abilities she has been trained in Brazilian jujitsu using leverage to incapacitate with much larger targets shes also fond of guns and grenades shes been known to tackle particularly tough opponents by embrtacing t them and detonating a bandoleer of grenades

 

while she is trained in deportment and can dress for any situation her personal style is hot topic school girl goth pleated plaid skirts ripped fishnets and a school bag full of guns knives and grenades.

Ophelia Treadmont (sole child of the Boston Treadmonts) has been in and out of trouble since she was in elementary school. (This trouble has ranged from shoplifting and bullying up to B&E and grand theft auto.)   However, her parents used their wealth and connections repeatedly to keep her from getting charged with any crimes, mainly because she's had Mummy and Daddy wrapped around her finger since she was a baby.  It wasn't until she started at Sindela that Ophelia learned (through the Countess) that she has the ability to make anybody like her (often to an unrealistic degree).  Now calling herself Miss Demeanor, she is working to refine her powers into true mind control.

Miss Adventure

 

Probably the most popular woman around is Isabella Carlsberg who comes from a brewery family in Denmark.She is outgoing and can make herself popular one way or another but she has a real thirst for thrills. She was an easy recruit to the special section and is a natural leader able to get people to work with each other stressing the importance of team work. Isabella knows martial arts and is perfecting escapology and security systems. Weapons practice is also high on her agenda. Mental abilities seem to have little affect on her.

Outside of the pavilion Annabelle and Isabella are 'enemies' but inside Isabella works hard to make Annabelle a team player and make her feel valued. It also came as a real surprise inside the pavilion that Ophelia could not make Isabella like her although the latter pointed out she would not take retribution or revenge on her as they keep each other's secrets.

The human "taxi" of the Deadlytantes is Miss Step.  Stephanie Pohl is a teleporter, able to create portals between locations up to 10 km apart.  She also likes to open portals on the ground under non-flying foes, with the receiving end often placed somewhere either far away or in a troublesome location (like in the city's sewers).  She is, however, very squeamish about killing (and thus she isn't that fond of Misanthrope's use of grenades, guns, and knives), so she won't do something like causing someone to drop from a great height unless they've proven able to take the falling damage without serious injury.
