Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

The villainess known as BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) was once a member of Mainframe, where her innate connection to the internet and amazing virus-generating ability were very useful. However, the continuous proximity to Scramble (who cut off her perpetual access) and Formatter (whose magnetic field caused her mild pain) drove her nuts to the point of making her leave the team. Fearful that BSOD would turn them in (and to tell the truth, being a bit catty), Modeler sicced the authorities on BSOD. While she managed to escape, BSOD has sworn to destroy Mainframe by any and all means necessary.

New team, for Teen Champions, six teen villains based on anime/cartoons/animation: The Kill-Stompy-Samas.

(Don't blame me entirely; I asked my daughters to name the team. The "good" 17 year-old came up with the above. The "evil" 14 year-old came up with "Evil Buddies.")

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

How about Costume Business?* They all cos-play characters from various shows, and have through various means gained powers related to those characters. At least part of it is that no one believes you when you tell them that you were robbed by Sailor Moon, and even if they do, they can't give a good description of what they really look like, because they confuse them with the character. They are pretty light-hearted for villains, mostly out for kicks, but robbery and property damage does add up.

*from Venture Bros.. Upon the suggestion that he did cos-play, the villain retorted that this was not play, but Costume Business!

Pretty Princess Slaughterhouse

Rita Roco was a typical fourteen-year-old girl from suburbia except for her love of extremely violent video games. Her slide into crime began with stealing such games when her parents refused to buy them for her. Much to her surprise, a bootleg copy of Chainsaw Deathmatch Gorefest 3000 that she'd gotten off the back of a truck turned out to be the prison for a fairy. By winning the game, Rita was able to release the fairy, who in gratitude turned Rita into a magical girl. Unfortunately for everyone else, Rita's powered-up form was warped by the fairy's time trapped in the game, and her own fantasies of killing everyone who'd ever annoyed her.

Pretty Princess Slaughterhouse is sweet, perky and carries a magical meat cleaver that can cut through just about anything. For ranged combat, she has her Pretty Princess minigun, and Pretty Princess grenade launcher. These items remain in "hammerspace" until needed. While Slaughterhouse's Pretty Princess miniskirted costume is not immune to damage (fanservice!) she herself is essentially invulnerable to anything classed as "Killing Damage." She also has a magical obfuscation field which prevents people from noticing her resemblance to Rita.

Pretty Princess Slaughterhouse has an annoying habit of falling in love with handsome male opponents, then freaking out when they don't return her affections. But when she's on task, Slaughterhouse is a great boon to the Kill-Stompy-Samas' combat strength.

Kitty-chan appears to be Hello Kitty. While that is enough to cause many mere mortals to run away (and many others to rush forward for her autograph), there are actually a few heroes willing to face her inimitable cuteness. When this happens, Kitty-chan is able to instantly switch places with any Hello Kitty product in the city. Kitty-chan escapes and the heroes are left holding one of over 12,000 Hello Kitty products. (dolls, bags, shirts, pencils, erasers, cars, credit cards, condoms...)

Dragonnut X- Obsessed with Dragonball Z, runs around in his orange pajamas. Died his hair blond, and keeps it in a spikyy style. His teammates consider him a mental case (hence, the name, the it could be another play on Dragonball *hint, hint*). Can fly at high speeds, also has an energy blast, though, whether because he is unwilling or unable he can only fire after grunting for what seems like10 minutes and yelling its full name (he calls it his "SuperMega Psycho Whoopass Berserker of Doom Blast" ). He also for some unknown reason rarely uses it until long into a fight. Preferring for some reason to perform move-by move-throughs with kicks and punches (not that they are ineffective, giving his body supersturdy and he has that high speed flying, but he'd do better to finish off characters with his blast, though, grunting a while of course gives them time to react, obviously)

Note: 10 minutes could be reduced to say 2 Turns or so. If for a game.

The Gamemaster.

Phineas Filbert is the best video game player ever. There is no game that he can't beat within a few minutes of playing. Phin's talent, such as it was, came to the attention of a local gambling syndicate eager to move in on the betting pool created by national gaming tournaments.

A ringer was bound to rake in the dough.

After several chemical experiments, Phin lost his ability to win video games. In its place, he gained the ability to draw weapons, vehicles, and talents from any game that he has played, and he has played a lot.

He uses his ability to help his teammates, but is something of a slacker and will rarely commit crimes on his own. If he does commit himself, he will try to use nonlethal abilities to put his enemy down before moving up to more lethal ordinance.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Confined to a wheelchair due to birth defects, Michael Dooley has always spent far more time than is healthy watching cartoons. When his mutant telekinetic powers became active shortly after his 15th birthday, this obsession caused them to manifest as telekinetic projections of cartoon characters. (When he lifts and throws a car with TK, for example, a very cartoonish-looking Superman might fly over, pick up the car, and toss it at the target.) As the Cartoon Kid, Michael also likes to use those projections to disguise himself as a character (his latest obsession is Iron Man) and commit crimes. He feels that life has given him the shaft, so he feels justified in doing whatever he wants and taking anything he desires.

Miss Mecha

Georgia Masters is something of a mechanical genius, specializing in oversized robots, vehicles and powered armor. The problem is that she's just twelve, and doesn't have access to the materials or funding necessary to make these devices the way she'd really like to. So they're made of whatever she can steal from the neighborhood or junkyard (later upgrading to whatever she can steal, period), and are often not nearly as effective as she'd like.

Miss Mecha is the brains of the Kill-Stompy-Samas, for what it's worth, and tries to plan their crimes. Happily for the rest of the world, it's like herding cats, and Miss Mecha isn't very good at cat herding. She also does not react well to lack of respect from her opponents or potential employers, and her lack of maturity is why Georgia hasn't been snapped up by any adult organizations looking for mad scientists.

Next group: Inspired by the Leslie Fish song based on the Rudyard Kipling poem, the Little Folk.

Five politically-motivated villains, specializing in terrorism and sabotage...all of whom are under three feet tall. Go for it!

Imp is a self-proclaimed Satanist (self-proclaimed because the real Church of Satan disavows him as being a lunatic poser). He's bald and has a short fuse for a temper (yes, he hates that joke). He also is a pyrokinetic mutant who can project and control flames.

The Leprechaun- (yes, different from Lep-hick-kahn) Former member of the IRA, master of explosives, has strange ability to be unseen when he plants his devices, some say it is because he is actually a Leprechaun is the reason he can do this, nobody knows. He is a bit obsessed with Irish folklore, so he doesnt mind fueling that rumor.....on the other hand maybe he is actually a leprechaun and just admitting to the truth.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Mild mannered Penny Parker will never forget that day in the laboratory when a radioactive spider bit her and imbued her with the ability to spin webs as well as strength and agility proportionate to that of the arachnid. Proportionate, that is to say, with what one might expect from a woman-sized spider. But that darn creepy crawly did more than give Penny great power, it gave her the spider's size. Finding herself a mere five inches tall, Penny Parker was in despair. When her Uncle Ben tried to lecture her about great power and great responsibility, she spat back "What comes with wee stature?" Taken aback, Uncle Ben and Aunt May had no response. Penny ran away and joined the Little Folk as Woman Spider!

She sure isn't going to wrap up heroes in her webbing (not without a good hour or two to work), but she's a heck of a lot stronger than most people expect out of such a tiny person and she's next to impossible to spot.

Saddam knew that things were going badly. Curse the American!! Time was running out. There was no way he was going to escape, or was he. His trusted mad scientist told him of a plan to clone the Butcher of Baghad so that when the President of Iraq was later found and excecuted, his clone would take his place in a place of hiding, and all that money would be used to fuel the counter-revolution. Long live Saddam Husein. Like a thief in the night the scientist fled to Kabul to perform in heinous experiments. Unfortunately, the conditions in Kabul was barely stone-age technology compared to the gold plated labs in Baghad. Corners had to be cut. Soon the clone was out of nutrient bath. All hail Mini-Saddam!! The same dictator only 1/3rd the size.

Toy Soldier- former Special Ops, the government were working on some project to turn soldiers temporarily invisible, he was the first test subject. Well, he went invisible alright. Kind of hard to spot a guy 1 1/2 inches tall, if you are not looking down. Attempted efforts to figure out what went wrong didnt please him and drove him somewhat insane. He escaped, dont ask me how, he escaped.

In an effort to deal with his plight, he tried to adapt to his surroundings. Amazingly, he learned to communicate with the bugs, and the mice. Soon it started to wear off, he grew inch by inch. Unfortunately stopping at 18 inches, however (he hopes he starts growing again, but who knows, it took almost a year before it started wearing off to start growing as it was). THe now mostly insane former soldier has now determined to gain revenge somehow for what was done to him. He has built an army of bugs, mice even a couple of stray dogs. (One of which he rides into battle like a warhorse). He arms himself with a knife (which he wields as a sword). Ironically, the loss of size, did enhance his speed/agility, also.

It is not know if he can be helped psychologically. He seems to under the delusion he is some kind of king of these "subjects" or at least a general.:doi:

Hmm, I think that is the last one, right? My turn to pick a team.

The Continental Conquerors Members: 7 One conqueror from each continent (yes, we are going with Anarctica, too.). Defeated on their own, they decided to pool their resources.

From Antarctica, then:

Abominor the Unfathomable

Abominor is the product of scientific experiments carried out on Antarctic wildlife by a vanished race of alien visitors aeons ago. He was sealed away as "too uncontrollable", but relatively recently defrosted by an expedition that couldn't read the "Hazardous Waste" warning signs. Abominor tried to take over Antartica, but the limits of his powers, combined with the sparse population, doomed him to only partial success. He hopes to be better served by accessing the technologies possessed by his fellow Conquerors; he plans to betray all but one of them as soon as they've conquered the world as he has no interest in non ice-covered areas.

Abominor looks like a three-meter tall albino penguin with a razor-sharp serrated beak and electric tentacles. He is able to control any animals in his line of sight without any visible effort, but *only* as long as they're in his line of sight. Abominor regenerates when exposed to heat or direct sunlight, even from "death", but finds temperatures above 0 Centigrade uncomfortable. He is a fast learner, and is studying modern supertechnology.

Andy of the Andes is the Continental Conquerors' South American member. Real name unknown, this young man speaks Mayan, Portuguese, and Spanish, but (even with three languages!) hasn't told the press who he is. So they gave him a name: Andy.

Andy has two sizes. He can be 1 meter 72 centimeters tall or 6,692 meters 72 centimeters tall. That's 72 centimeters taller than the highest peak (Aconcagua) in the Andes chain! Along with that size, Andy gains tremendous strength. The Earth shakes when he walks. And he's basically impossible to miss. He can't sneak around. He can't hide. He can't possibly avoid being shot with guns, missiles, and what-have-you of every description. He has managed to hold off armies for as long as a day, but in the end he gets tired, they get lucky, and . . . THUD. He's down. And then he shrinks down to normal human size again.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

From Walkabout and the spirit realm, The Bunyip walks Australia and lives to terrorize dreams again! The form it currently takes is five feet tall, eight feet long, a dog-like face, dark fur, a horse-like tail, flippers, and walrus-like tusks or horns or a duck like bill. Currently, it seeks a way to force every human to be asleep as it can only feed on one's life essence then. With great effort, the Bunyip can then control one of these living husks if it needs to infiltrate somewhere (since the Bunyip has only recently returned to the physical world, it's still gaining the strength back to change its own shape).

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

One of the newest villains to terrorize Europe, Sigmund Guðmundsson was an Icelandic photographer taking pictures of a volcano when it erupted. He was trapped in the ash and gas cloud, but instead of getting killed, he developed the ability to not only turn himself to an ash/gas cloud, but also to project superheated gasses or clouds of ash at will. He was also changed mentally and emotionally, having no sense of right and wrong.

Taking the name Eyjafjallajökull after the volcano that gave him his powers, he went on a crime spree that was unfortunately stopped by Euroguard. Luckily, he was able to burn through the filters that kept his ash/gas form from leaving his cell, and he escaped. He joined the Continental Conquerors shortly afterward, seeing that there is more security in numbers.

Lady Wu is the epitome of the Oriental Mastermind. She is noble and regal in bearing, displaying grace in all she does. She has tried to conquer or destroy her neighbours for a plethora of different reasons. Japan; for what it did to Korea during the 20th Century. China; for bringing Communism to her country and splitting it in tow. Burma; for the Drug trade. Cambodia; for the Khmer Rouge and the fear it could happen again. She has wealth from a source that has remained undiscovered to prying investigations and she uses proxies to do her bidding but Interpol etc know it is her, they just have not caught her yet. Faced with another exasperating defeat she looked to try something different and thus joined the Continental Conquerors.

The Tribesman: once a normal Massai warrior, this guy developed the mutant ability to create identical versions of himself. Unlike other mutants, who can only duplicate for a limited time, this process is permanent. Over the years he has done it so many times, he now is a tribe all of his own. He exists in 318 known identities. It is unknown how many more of them exist or how many have already died. All these tribesmen share the same mind and are linked via some form of psychic link. They possess superhuman strength (lift 3 tons) and speed (run at up to 60 mph). The original tribesman was born in Tansania in 1923 and since the day he produced his first "clone" has not aged a single day.

Whalesinger: is a woman of Inuit descent with mighty sonic powers. She creates low rhythmic sounds whose vibrations cause massive damage. She was a representative of Nunavut in the Canadian Capital, but has lost interest in normal politics and now wants to overthrow the government. Whalesinger is 39 years old and rather small. She always dresses in white coats and white pants and wears a fur hat.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Irene Madden was miserable in high school. She was smart, but constantly picked on by the "popular people" (led by that [bLEEP] cheerleader Eve). Any attempt to make friends with ANYONE went nowhere. Despite bringing the bullying she went through to her parents and teachers' attention, Irene's plight was considered "kids will be kids. Toughen up and get over it!" and ignored. The only one who took any sort of positive notice of her was Mr. Clarke, the science teacher's aide. Still, even his attention was being taken up by that nut Amy Angelo. And then there was that debacle with the Van der Graaf generator. When the students fled in what they thought was going to be an explosion, Irene got knocked down to the floor...

...and woke up in a grey realm. She saw her class room as if it were inverted shadows.

"Look at them, Lady. Look at how blind they are to everything and everyone. So concerned with their petty little lives, they refuse to see the bigger picture...." The voice was soothing, though the accent was unfamiliar. "You see them for what they are. You can see their sins. Why should they get away with it anymore? All their lies...all their hate! Make them feel like you do...make them be NOTHING."

Irene reached out for the contract...

It was Irene who woke up, ignored in the corner. It was Lady Nothing who left the school.

In terms of stealth and invisibility, Lady Nothing is nigh-undetectable by magic, psionics and technology. She spies on her targets, gathering as much information as she can before she strikes. Sometimes, she settles for simple theft or blackmail. More dangerously, she snatches a victim (one victim at a time) and sends them to the Grey Realm, where she tortures them, draining them of their sense of self. The weaker and more despairing her victims become in the Grey Realm, the more people forget about them back in the real world. It was deliciously wonderful taking out her parents one at a time as her first victims.

As of now, while she's determined Eve isn't human, she's yet to figure out about Dr. Margaret McClaren and the Synthetics. Likewise, when she looks at Clarke, he has an odd faint glow about him...
