Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Many thanks to the above for the sadism displayed so far.

Scarlet Hawk

The Scarlet Hawk had a winged flying suit and was blithely unaware of what had happened behind him as he was one of the leaders in the race. Whether someone connected to the American Protector prevented anyone contacting him with news of what was happening or that the hero had put Max Millions intop a coma when the villain allegedly tried to pull out of the race and surrender is all conjecture. What is known is that approaching Salt Lake City, Utah, the Scarlet Hawk was hit by a man sized missile and plunged into the ground. This did not make any news whatsoever as the hero foiled a murder and robbery in Salt Lake City, which were unrelated to the Chicago - San Francisco run, but which did make the news. Fortunately (?) for the other competitors the hero was delayed in Salt Lake City and they were able to continue on their way. At his trial it was not conclusively proved that it was the Protector who was the missile. (He was but lawyers can get people out of most anything). The Hawk was buried in New Jersey in a quiet ceremony several weeks later. His ruined flying suit acquired by the Smithsonian.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

“This is Jimmy Dugan, following American Protector’s trail as he continues attacking various supervillains. I’m not sure if he’s seeking justice or vengeance, to tell you the truth. Thus far, he has hospitalized Loopy Lou, the Acrobat, Sonic Sara, and Max Millions. Hodag is still missing after his run-in with Protector, and we have reports that a man-sized ‘missile’ which may have actually been Protector, was responsible for Scarlet Hawk’s death outside Salt Lake City. However, we have no confirmation that American Protector is definitively responsible for that death.

“I’m reporting now from Reno, Nevada, where Laddie Luck, the Scottish probability-altering supervillain, is attempting to elude American Protector after robbing Harrah’s Casino. While Laddie’s luck powers have kept Protector from grabbing the villain or landing a solid blow, he has managed to force Laddie to drop the stolen money in his haste to escape.

“Wait… I’m not sure why, but Protector has just ripped out the massive sign in front of a restaurant… oh! He’s going to use it like a giant flyswatter! But wait… apart from his luck powers, Laddie is a normal person. There’s no way he can survive… Oooooo. Oh, God, I think I’m going to be sick. Oooooo. Ladies and gentlemen, I hope the WSN censors stopped the video feed and you didn’t see that. The blood… I don’t think even Laddie Luck’s powers could have helped him survive that. Oh, no, Protector’s not stopping, he’s hitting the body again, and again, with the sign! Good Lord, it’s horrible, you can’t even tell it’s a body any more…”

(I'm not counting Max Millions as one of the contributions, since all was given for him was a name. So the person to post the final victim in San Francisco can name the next team.)

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Laffy Taffy had won the race. She was the first to reach San Francisco. She had heard about the attacks but figured her rubberized body made her immune to anything Protector could throw at her. And if he tried a stunt like what he did with Hodag, well, everyone knows nothing is stickier than taffy and Mr. High-and-Mighty would find himself in one hell of a mess before he even knew it.

So, she sat there, at the last stop of her Run Winning Crime Spree, with a Candy Truck full of Stolen Sweets. She had the awning up and was handing them out to all the underprivileged kids in the area as usual. That's when he struck. No one saw it coming. No one expected him to go this far. The authorities all claimed it could not have been done by him, because no SUPERVILLAIN would sink that low, much less a hero. But the boom was heard from miles around. The San Francisco PD was quickly on the scene. They had heard about what was happening and had just gotten word on Laffy's location and were going to take her into "protective custody" to protect her from whatever was ACTUALLY happening (most members of the force believed it was some kind of setup.) When they arrived at the location all that was left of the truck was a sweet, sticky pool of candied goo. Dozens of local children were covered in a blend of confectionery shrapnel. Many were temporarily deafened and suffered from vision lost. Taffy was presumed dead at the scene. The struggles of the children would continue for many years. The recent autobiography of one of the survivors "Death by Chocolate" was published two years ago on the 15th anniversary of the incident.

To this day no child in that neighborhood will touch anything sweet.

New Team: Multiplicity: These 5-7 Villains (I will leave it up to you guys for an exact number, anyone after 5 can start a new team) are actually ONE PERSON! This person is a metamorph with Multiple Personality Disorder. Each "form" looks different, has different powers and abilities. All of the forms "Believe" they are part of a team that work together but are on seperate tasks most of the time (group time always happens "in the head"). The forms can be different sexes, races, etc., literally ANYTHING goes!

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Monty Hall is the central form, subtly warping reality without meaning too. This allows for the rest of the personalities to exist because he thinks they do, and changes his body to match. Monty keeps a baseline power to allow him to go and get in anywhere without being obvious that he has a super ability. He thinks it's luck, not altering the world around him to do what he wants.

Monty dresses like a copy of Zorro, and goes by the name of the Dungeoneer.

Another of the personalities is Tantrum, an innocent but somewhat spoiled eight-year-old girl with a temper problem. When she loses it, she doesn't turn green or get any bigger than her four-foot-tall self--but she becomes very strong, very resistant to damage, and emits highly destructive eye lasers and sonic shrieks.

Spyman

Cliff Hall is the Spyman. He believes he is the uncle of Tantrum and that Monty is an old friend from college. Cliff is an expert in getting into and out of places. He has some martial arts ability but his speciality is surveillance and gathering intelligence. He is methodical and quiet as his job tends to demand it. He is convinced that large gaps in his appearances may be due to concussions and being in a coma.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Tock-Tick thinks he is one of Monty's ancestors from the past (specifically, the mid-1800s) and believes himself travelling through time against his will (which explains his absences). Unwittingly using Monty's reality-altering powers, he is able to teleport himself and others (thinking he is doing so via altering the target's placement in time).

The Goof

Prehaps the most strangeous of the transformations is the being called The Goof. Basicly a large blue fuzzball with legs, a long toung, and the ability to eat almost anything. It can also walk up walls and cealings. Forcently for eveybody, organic substances taist ickie to it. Eveyone thinks it is Tantrom's pet, and is kepted in an 'extradimentinal kenal' when not in existance, the truth would stun the entier world.

Ok...that if five. Anyone want to continue this group?

We only need two more. let me put down number six and then someone else can grab the last slot.

Overarc is a weapon of mass destruction. supposedly it sits in orbit and fires straight down on a target with a massive energy beam. The truth is when one of the other personalities gets in trouble, whatever he/she/it is looking at is nuked with an accompanying computer voice in their head.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Always chasing on the heels of Multiplicity is Detective Brown, a PI who claims to be after the reward money for capturing the villains. He is armed with the discarded or older-model foci of various heroes. (Strangely, all of it seems to be made from the same type of plastic, and none of it will work for anybody but him.) He also isn't known for staying on the right side of legality in his pursuit of Multiplicity (stealing evidence, threatening witnesses, endangering innocents, etc.), so he's actually wanted by the police.

New Team: Fraternity Row

This group of five super-powered frat boys are infamous for their rowdy antics throughout their college town. That their actions cause injuries and property damage is not their concern.

Note: if somebody wants to include a super-powered sorority girl as their frat's "little sister," that's fine, but there should still be five guys.

Bee Goggles

It all began as a wild kegger, and got worse. Anybody remember the "Snake Beer" plot where King Cobra druged the stolen beer VIPER had in order to increse the number of COIL agents? Well, lots of cans of that stuff are still unacounted for. And frat brother Richard Crat just happened to know somebody who knew someone who knew someone who was able to get a case. No, he did not know it was tainted. He only knew his frat brothers needed cheep beer, and fast.

One, two, three cans later, and Richard was transformed. But not to a snake worshuping snake man, but to the insect-like Bee Goggles, a semi-permently buzzed flying insect-human hybread. And he needs more beer, STAT!

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

(I am taking my inspiration from cross of Animal House and the MIT/CalTech pranks, and Douglas Adams )

Boyd Bates, is an odd sort, brilliant, charismatic, prankster and a party animal in one handsome package. He hatch the plan after finding some weird electronic devices from a little side adventure he had in getting some free beer for the next frat party.

He built it in no time flat, and it would be cool but he needed to test it. So he wired his device into an campus maintenance access tunnel and hit the switch. There was a flash and bang, then he found himself in his room in the frat house.

He ran to the window to see smoke poring from the access to the maintenance tunnel, a bunch of women running quicky back to dorms and sorority houses and a large pile of women’s underclothing setting in the middle of campus. He wished he was in the campus union to revile in the mayhem he just caused, and he was. And Mr. Improbable was born, the Teleporting Gadgeteer of the frat house.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

They say for every person with a useful superpower, there's a dozen whose powers are... well, let's just say less useful. Jack Blutarksy is one of that dozen.

Jack had helped his pal Boyd Bates carry some funky machinery down to the maintenance tunnel, but while Boyd was making final calibrations, Jack got bored and wandered off. (There's gotta be a snack machine around here somewhere, he thought.) After a while, Boyd assumed Jack had left the tunnel and gone back to the frat house, but Jack had actually gotten lost. He'd just found his way back to the machinery when Boyd threw the switch. Boyd disappeared (having teleported back to the frat house) and Jack was caught in the periphery of the machinery's explosion.

Coughing and waving away the smoke, Jack climbed out of the tunnel in time to see bras and panties dropping from the sky. With a chuckle, he settled down on the grass to watch the show as women screamed and ran hither and yon. Y'know what would make this perfect, he thought, would be some beer and a sandwich. No sooner had he envisioned that when a half-eaten ham-and-cheese sandwich and a glass of beer appeared in midair about four feet away from him.

It took him a bit of experimentation to get some control of his newfound ability to "call" food to his vicinity, and even longer just playing around with it (in the process emptying out a third of a nearby dorm cafeteria's prepared lunches). Soon he could not only call any food or drink to himself at will, but if he wanted he could make it appear with some velocity added. His first (and second, and third) use of this was to spray beer at some of the now-braless women running around, causing an impromptu, unwilling wet t-shirt contest. And when the campus police showed up, he added enough velocity to the beer to simulate a fire hose. Throw a little vanilla pudding under their feet, hit 'em with the beer spray, and they were slip-sliding all over the place. What fun!

It didn't take long before Jack joined Fraternity Row as Food Fight, the messiest villain in town. He knows he's nowhere near the most powerful person around, but he's certainly having fun while he can.

Party Animal is the Muzzle of the group. When sober, he likes to avoid trouble like the plague. The problem is when drunk, he is a unstoppable machine of destruction. The group likes to get him drunk and send him out as a diversion while they carry out other plans. They pick him up after the buzz dies down enough for him to calm down.

Miss Behaveor

(Well, someone wanted a sister for the group.)

Lisa Lamper grew up well behaved, polite, and well manored. Then she went to colage, and taisted her first beer. She was with Richard Cart on there beer run, and was about to drink a can of Snake Beer when it just got riped out of her hands by an unseen force ("Thanks, Jack"). Following it to Jack's location outside, she got realy angry when Jack sprayed some girls with it. Unbenounced to eveyone, Lisa has a few latented mutant abilities. She displayed one by unleashing a sonic belch. Then another one, ignighting a fart which propelled her into the sky. She was knocked out by a wall (lucky for her she was saved from dashing her head in by pudding).

Eventuly deciding to embrace her rude powers, she sometimes helps the boys out as Miss Behavor. Unforcently her actions got her kicked out of the sorority AND the cheerleading squad, but who needs them when you got buds who can bring beer from across the city.

(We still need one more guy, and I left it open for more girls. That can of Snake was opened and jetted onto a pore girl...prehaps more.)

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Toga is the team's brick. For some reason that noone knows whenever Tom Garret drinks a beer he gains an immense amount of strength, and when he gets REALLY drunk his body actually transforms into living beer, with no loss in his Strength. He usually likes to pull fairly simple pranks, like moving the science building across campus while everyone is sleeping. Once, on a serious bender, he actually managed to move the entire campus across town (where it now resides, noone has ever been able to come up with a way to move all the buildings back). Why is he called Toga? Ever since he saw "that movie" its all he ever wears........

New Team:

Revenge of the NERDS! These 5 geeks banded together to wreak havoc on all those who had put them down, mistreated them, etc. They consider Fraternity Row to be their arch nemesis and will go to any length to humiliate, upstage, or otherwise aggravate them. So far they have stopped just shy of killing anyone, but it is only a matter of time........

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Arnold Pointer went to high school with Tom Garret, but they travelled in completely different social circles. Arnold was on the chess team and headed up the school's National Honor Society chapter, while Garret was a star player on the school's football and wrestling teams. As you might guess, Arnold was frequently the target of bullies, of whom Garret was one. (Garret never saw himself as a bully; he says he's just pulling pranks and having fun -- it's not his fault if some geek gets his nose bent out of shape.)

After they graduated, Arnold was dismayed to learn they would be attending the same college (with Garret gaining entry thanks to a football scholarship). Thankfully, the campus was big enough that they didn't run into each other very often, so they got through their freshman year without incident.

In their second year, however, Garret (after a night of drinking) discovered his incredible strength and thought it would be fun to pick up the science building and move it across campus. Unfortunately, Arnold was inside working on a chemistry experiment at the time. Moving the building caused the chemicals to spill all over Arnold, triggering a transformation. Suddenly, he found himself able to turn himself into any element or chemical compound. At first, he thought this was incredibly useful -- his titanium form is incredibly hard to hurt, for instance; his acidic forms eat through things, and he can turn into a highly flammable gas and explode, reforming moments later without harm to himself. But to his dismay, he also found that he now perpetually smells like rotten eggs (sulfur) in his human form, pretty much ensuring he'd never get a date with a girl.

When Garret took the name Toga and joined Fraternity Row, Arnold decided to use his own powers to oppose Toga directly. Arnold's bad luck streak continued, however, when a reporter heard Garret refer to Arnold as Poindexter (Arnold's nickname throughout high school). The name has stuck ever since, like his rotten egg smell, and serves as one more reason for Arnold to hate Garret.

The Dream

Paul MaDived is a mutant who is able to seperate his dream self from his physical body while sleeping. His dream self can interact with the real world. He has also the power to manipulate reality while he sleeps. Unforcently, reality conforts to what he watched/read just before bedtime. This, if he read The Wizard of Oz, reality conformes to Oz while he sleeps. Same with Dune, Starship Troopers, Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?, The Sandman (Don't ask me to explain that one), Watchmen, ect. Forcently for eveyone he refuses to read King or Lovecraft before bed.

He joined the group by acident, and became a loyal member ever since. Eveyone keeps giving him intresting bedtime reading/viewing things...

Loosly based on the nerd charater from Robot Chicken.

The Geek

People tend to refer to Matthias Resternmoore as Sheldon nowadays. And it is always Matthias never Matt. Anything Geek related he knows or claims to. Batman's first kiss ? He knows. Superman's first use of a power ? He knows. His massive intellect is the one enabling the others to get together and fight their nemesis. Matthias is also a supreme bluffer something he does not do at cards which does surprise the others. Losing money is one thing but to lose one's life, teeth or reputation is quite another. Outside the group no-one suspects that he has a superpower. He can blend into the background and to all intents and purposes become invisible. He can also make this effect usuable on others in his vicinity. Some girls have realised that if they appear to be talking to him the boys will leave them alone and Matthias has helped them although he can like Sheldon Cooper rub women up the wrong way.

As to where his powers come from Matthias states he suddenly acquired them after an in depth study of a book called Al Azif written by a medieval scholar called Abdul Alhazred. He is frequently disappointed that Paul won't read The Hound of Tindalos or the Call of Cthulhu.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

The late-night weekend showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show were just a way for the theater to make a little extra money. It attracted a regular crowd, and they were pretty cool, though sometimes the audience responses were a little too loud and the local fan club that performed alongside the screenings had to be asked to dial things back a bit.

When that weird fight broke at the theater, they moved proceedings to a local art-house, hoping to attract similar crowds. On the first night, when the guy dressed as Dr. Frank N Furter showed up, they were too blown away by how much he looked like the original to care that he took over proceedings immediately. When he commanded the attendees to rise up and follow him into the streets, they'd do anything he said.

If you're out walking late at night, and you suddenly hear a crowd muttering "don't dream it, be it" over and over, run.

(The Frank N. Furter that emerged from the poster has strong mind-control powers, based around "freeing" people from their inhibitions. He's also a capable mad scientist. His goals are to have a good time, "save" people from themselves, and not get killed this time.)

Forestshadow

There was a poster in the theator, advertising "Jason's Deathday Party" on top of the original poster for Friday the 13th. When the chaos started, the silioete image came off the poster, and tried to find teenages haveing sex or doing drugs to puncture. Frank woulden't have any of that, but eveything Frank tossed at it was sent to the forest inside it, harming it not.

Then it left the theator to find more prey.
