Rosie Kutter was a great film editor able to put to together terrible footage into something that worked making even the most wooden acting come alive.

 

Which is how she ended up attached to a absolute train wreck of a movie and she did her best pouring her heart and soul into it practically living in the edit bay she pulled together a coherent tight movie from the rambling performance of their cocaine addled lead his buxom. Never acted befor girlfriend of an exec love interest. With a rambling script by the writer director.

 

Then that Arrogant wannabe auteur SOB scrapped it threw together his own cut and released it to the lowest box office take in history.

 

Of course the studio claimed her the director was all over the talk show circuit blaiming the flop on the terrible editing a promising a released director's cut they pulled the actual director's cut and released her original one to critical acclaim.

 

Rosie was blamed and she could not get work anywhere.

 

Deprived of her beloved career Rosie suffered a total psychotic break. Unfortunately for the studio execs who had thrown her under a bus to save the director and leading man's reputations, Rosie had a hobby.

Rosie was an expert martial artist skilled in several varieties of kung fu.

 

So on the night of a major awards ceremony that her movie was being honored at without her she snuck in disguised as catering staff and as the director flanked by the execs and fresh from rehab lead took the stage, she joined them. Dressed in a costume designed by a friend and wielding a rope dart tipped with a nasty razor sharp blade. She proceeded to flay her enemies in front of the watching celebrities and live tv audience.

 

Them She fled into the night after that and joined the scene stealers as

 

RAZOR CUT.

 

She wears a full face mask seemingly composed of moving film strip taken from violent and gory scenes and a black armoured body suit with a line of film strip pattern running up the sides of her arms legs torso and collor.

 

She now wields a custom rope dart composed of an almost unbreakable line and kevrite blades tip.

 

She likes to take her opponents apart slowly. Entangling them so they fall, then taking them apart with dozens of shallow cuts.

 

she is probably the least stable of the stealers reveling in hurting people , who remind her of her first targets and she is liable to go berserk if someone is too close in temperament to them.

Rosie McCoy was blessed with a perfect figure but a face that only a mother might love.  She ended up as a stand-in for Hollywood starlets (from the neck down) in any scenes that required nudity.  Uncredited, unknown, seeing the careers of dozens of young women career skyrocket on her fleshy foundation, and knowing that as her physical attributes faded so would her prospects, Rosie McCoy sought out radical plastic surgery to give her the 'perfect' face.  

 

Emerging from the stormy night of the operation, a power outage, and an overdose of anesthetics, Rosie got her face.  But it wouldn't move - a blank, impassive expressionless mask looked back at her from the mirror.  She cracked and frantically clawed at it, hoping her natural-born homely features were still there, underneath.  But always, the mannikin-like visage would return.  One day, after watching an old movie, she realized her face had changed - to resemble Ingrid Bertmann, the famous actress!  She practiced until she could copy the features of anyone she observed - onscreen or remotely.  Over time, she realized she could also alter height, weight, voice, even gender.  She began offing the starlets she despised to take their place and live the lifestyle she dreamed of.   Eventually she joined the Scene Stealers as a master of disguise, able to perfectly impersonate politicians, generals, executives or anyone else to advance their nefarious schemes; reverting to Ingrid or other film noir actresses otherwise.

 

She is Body Double.

Jump Scare

 

Jack Scarlotti always wanted to be in movies horror movies in particular he saw nightmare on elms his mom wasn't always the best at picking out age appropriate videos and jack had seen nightmare on elm street and hellraiser before his schoolmates had stopped watching barney. Jack spent his childhood watching low budget gore-fests and making horror movies with a camcorder school friends and monsters made out of scrap. he knew he wanted to be the next wes craven.

So after high school, he went to film school graduated but not at the top of his class and found that he just couldn't get a break.

 

Jack ended up working in a prop warehouse whilst trying desperately to get onto a real movie set. Jack finally got his chance. The producer of  a super low budget horror movie needed props and he offered Jack a assistant director if he could do him a deal on the props. Jack jumped at it he couldn't take the good stuff from the main warehouse but he knew there was a load of stuff in the basement his boss wouldn't miss for a week or so.

 

Jack hauled it over to the abandoned hospital the Crew where filming in. everything was going great Jack was thrilled to be at his first genuine film gig. He had picked out a super creepy bronze devil mask for the villain.Which he had found in an abandoned corner of the prophouse basement in an old steamer trunk. Jack was excited, the script wasn't that bad so maybe this could be the next blair witch and maybe he could direct one of the inevitable sequels.

 

Then the guy who was supposed to be playing the Killer didn't show (he got a better offer as junkie number 2 on criminal minds)they couldn't afford any delay and they asked Jack to fill in so jack donned the killers costume and as the cameras started to roll for his first scene,he put on the mask...

 

and then no one knows what happened next. the recovered footage (which still circulates online)shows screaming people vague fast moving shadows appearing and disappearing impossibly and sinister manic laughter. there where several injuries and two deaths. One was due to an accidental fall down stairs,  tripped on a broken floor tile whilst fleeing in panic. The other seemed to have died due to heart failure graphically described in the press as being literally scared to death. Lastly there was one disappearance Jack . Jack woke at dawn the next day in an alley miles from the location with only the vaguest memories of what happened and the bronze mask clutched tight in his hands.

 

since then Jack has learnt a lot  more than he ever wanted to about the mask and the uses of fear. The mask is a Demon bound artifact, an infernal creature is locked within and it feeds on fear.

 

when jack wears it the mask it grants him several powers. The most notable is his ability to teleport to anywhere that is unobserved he can also turn invisible, shroud himself in shadows, interfere with electronics and machinery and cling to walls and ceilings like an insect. he has also gained increased strength speed and durability.

 

Unfortunately these gifts do come at a price firstly he must cause fear as this is what the demon feeds on and secondly if he loses control the demon will take his body as its own and force him into a berserk rampage targeting friends , enemies and bystanders equally.

 

He has joined the Stealers for the opportunities to create fear, get rich and because if he can't be famous, he will settle for infamous.

 

He chose the name JumpScare after the horror movie technique of something appearing suddenly and unexpectedly to startle the audience. Jack has turned it into his go to tactic. Using his teleportation to appear in a opponent's blind spot, then perform a presence attack. If that doesn't work he usually just uses his enhanced strength and if that doesn't work he will retreat into the shadows and look for another easier target to spook. he is not above targeting civilians to draw away heroes or just for fun and fear to fuel the demon mask. jack doesn't usually kill the demon wants fear not death but neither of them have any qualms if it proves necessary or if it will increase other peoples level of fear.

PyroTekNik

 

Nikolas Brand was the most in demand Pyrotechnic technician in hollywood his explosions always looked perfect blazed just right perfect on camera. His company Pyro Tek Nik was in great demand.

 

 

Unfortunately for Nik one of his competitors wasn't exactly the sanest person(in an industry where people blow things up for a living) a former teenage arsonist  and wannabe super villain. He decided to make Nik his first victim. he used teh heat ray he had developed to torch Nik's workshop and the apartment above it. Hiding across the street he watched the flames as the fire department arrived and tried to quench the furious blaze fed by the stored accelerants and explosives of the workshop and then there was a figure wreathed in flames walking out of the flames.

Nik secret was out he was a mutant a flame proof pyrokinetic. Nik walked naked into the night unharmed he strode across the street to the wannabe villains hiding spot dragging him into the chaotic light of the blaze and fire truck lights and reaching out he called forth a writhing tendril of flame and burnt the arsonist to a cinder Nik disappeared into the night as the fire men and police looked on in stunned silence.

 

Nik joined the scene stealers he now wears a nomex suit and carries a variety of pyrotechnic devices in a specially designed fire proof satchel. he also carries the arsonists heat ray able to ignite any flammable materials creating flames he can control.

The Ten Plagues

This team of ten is based on the ten plagues that befell Egypt persuading Pharoah to let the Jews leave. It is upto the writers whether the people who make up the team are adherents, apostates or opponents of religion.

The plagues are in order:-

1. Water into Blood

2. Frogs

3. Lice/Gnats/Fleas

4. Flies

5. Diseased livestock

6. Boils

7. Thunderstorm of hail and fire

8. Locusts

9. Darkness

10. Death of the firstborn

 

There is the Dr Phibes version from the film the Abominable Dr Phibes

Dr. Phibes takes his inspiration for the murders from the Old Testament, the Ten plagues of Egypt. The plagues described in the movie differ slightly from the Biblical account:

1. Boils: Prof. Thornton is stung to death by bees. (Not shown, only referred to during the film)
2. Bats: Dr. Dunwoody is mauled to death by bats. (This one is not a Biblical plague but may be related to the plague of lice or gnats.)
3. Frogs: Dr. Hargreaves (who is not a surgeon but a psychiatrist) has his head crushed by a mechanical mask of a frog
4. Blood: Dr. Longstreet has all the blood drained out of his body
5. Hail: Dr. Hedgepath is frozen to death by a machine spewing ice
6. Rats: Dr. Kitaj crashes his plane when attacked by rats. (This is not a Biblical plague but may be related to the plague of pestilence.)
7. Beasts: Dr. Whitcombe is impaled by a brass unicorn head
8. Locusts: Nurse Allen is eaten by locusts.
9. Death of the first born: Phibes kidnaps and attempts to kill Dr. Vesalius's son Lem. (This is the final plague in the Biblical account.)
10. Darkness: At the ambiguous ending of the film, Phibes drains the blood from his own body while injecting embalming fluid, apparently joining his wife in death.

The one major criteria is that you have to follow the Bible order i.e. start with water into blood and end with death of the first born. They can be men or women.

The mysterious Bloodwater is the first of The Ten Plagues. He can change his own body to a bright red liquid. Also, his touch poisons the blood of anyone he touches. Rumor has it that he was once an angle responsible for the first plague of Egypt. If so, he was cast out of Heaven once Jesus assend.

The Frog Father has the unfortunate talent of summoning frogs everywhere he goes.  They are his watchers, protectors, and messengers.

They told Carl Anstruther that he would have it all. They lied. They framed him and had him sent down for fraud. He lost everything. When he got out of prison he was on the streets. and that is when he was approached again and asked if he wanted revenge on those that had wronged him. He did. So his desire was granted and he was turned into The Fleamaster. He is now able to unleash a swarm of fleas at people or dissolve into a swarm of fleas.

Robert "Bob" Belza was an accountant working for ARGENT. One day, while searching an old wearhouse own by the criminal corporation for assets, he stumbled on to old Professor Bundy's matter transported pod. After he triped over a power cord, he stumbled into the pod, and it activated. To make matters worse, it was still contaminated with fly dna. Emerging from the pod changed, he became Belzabud, Lord Of The Flys.

Ann Thrax

 

Annabelle Thackery was a brilliant gifted immunologist working for the DHS's Chemical and Biological Defense Division (CBD) working with modified biological developing counter agents when a heavily modified version of anthrax acquired by the sentinels from a VIPER research nest.

 

when VIPER  counter attacked the lab  to reacquire the samples no one was expecting it.  equally  when they tried to breach the secure Vault that the  explosion caused by the VIPER blaster cannon would result in the samples being mutated. nor that  Annabelle would be exposed to  the spores and she would survive the exposure and emerge with strange new powers.

 

Annabelle was gone and now she was ANN THRAX able to produce fast acting toxic spore clouds that can kill man and beast alike.

Byron Barton is the Boil. His ability to cause pimples to grow didn't seem that useful until he was supercharged with a host of other minor villains. Now he can force a boil to grow until it pops which can wound normal people with the expanding of their skin under the pressure.

Perhaps the showiest of the plagues is Royston Myles. Royston is fond of big musical numbers like 'There's no business like showbusiness' and other big barnstorming songs. However when he does burst into song it is accompanied by a thunderstorm of hail and fire. So while he won't be appearing on stage anytime soon he does go out and sing and cause all sort of havoc even death. Stormsinger is hat they calle him.

LOCUST

 

No one is particularly sure what happened to the heroic Grasshopper to turn him into the villainous LOCUST. theories abound mental break down replaced by a villainous doppelganger from another dimension mind control but no one knows for sure. What is obvious is the the previously happy go lucky, wise cracking, bounding hero in his bright green armour with the powerful spring boots has been replaced by a villain with black armour covered in bloody spines which he uses to slash rend and tear his foes and bystanders alike as he  leaps around the battlefield.

Dr. Myron Mickelson fought heroes for years with his light and dark powers allowing him advantages in both areas. During one such battle, he was split in two. His light powers became the hero Phantom Lighthouse. His dark powers became the Black Night and joined the Ten Plagues

Death of the First Born

 

DFB is a mysterious figure in the Occult underworld he appears when people who have made faustian pacts attempt to get out of their commitment.

 

He will then start a campaign of fear and intimidation taking everything his target loves he will use the other Plagues to do most of this but he will always save his final blow for himself the death of one of the targets loved ones often as his name suggest the first born child but grandchildren, wives, lovers and even favorite pets are not off limits.

 

he appears as a very well dressed male of uncertain ethnicity usually described as mediterranean or middle  eastern ish he wears nothing but black suits and shirts with blood coloured accessories.

 

He is very fastidious in manner constantly grooming himself to remain very neat and tidy he is  always courteous and polite.

 

seems to be able to get in anywhere appearing sitting comfortably and looking completely unperturbed in sealed safe rooms aboard private jets or on remote islands wherever his target attempts to flee too.

 

he kills guards with casual violence barely seeming to move, he is superhumanly strong and quick and fights with seemingly effortless skill .

 

there are only two ways to stop him either fulfil the pact or keep your loved ones in a building warded with fresh lambs blood forever

RED SEA

 

водной огонь брони  was what was written in thick red stencil on the The huge crate.  The crate was lying covered in dust and cobwebs  in the back of an abandoned soviet  naval yards warehouse in Yalta Ukraine.

 

It was something most people wouldn't have looked twice at it but  Тарас Rudenko was a very very good at finding valuable items in abandoned soviet installations. a gifted mechanic. he started working for his fathers garage but when the local crime syndicate needed someone to check some gear they had acquired Tapac got involved soon he was the local boss go to techie. and that's how Tapac found him self in the dusty abandoned warehouse looking for high value stuff. When he cracked open the crate there it was a bulky soviet era armoured suit.

 

Tapac knew it was his ticket to the big time he arranged to take the crate back to his work shop he spent months and every bit of money he had getting it up and running and upgrading some of the antiquated systems the suit was developed by the soviet navy to fight fires in there nuclear fleet the heavy armour was totally sealed allowing it to operate both on land and sea using powerful water jets it could push itself through the water at amazing speed lift it self out of the water and fly on pillars of water the powerful jets could also be directed as water cannon or narrowed down to act as water powered cutters. now Tapac uses the suit as RED SEA as the suits systems require water to use he operates mostly in aquatic locations piracy hijackings and attacks on shipping are his speciality.

The Chunnel operates in England and France, with rare sightings up and down the coastline of Europe. His speciality is smuggling by creating tunnels through the water for goods to flow through across the English Channel and North Sea. He considers it an airtight profitable venture.

The Japanese woman called Sue Nami is well feared in the Pacific as she causes great waves to flatten and destroy people and places. She is seen as part of the wave itself as she has to be present to have an effect. Her membership of this group can only cause trouble.

The pirate known as Voodoo Jack Carrow operates in the Gulf of Mexico and Carribbean with his crew of stalwart skeletons and storm raising powers. It is said that he sailed out of the Bermuda Triangle one day, but no one has lived to tell the tale.

Ancient Marina

 

She has sailed the seas and oceans of the world. She can call upon the creatures of the sea to do her bidding. This old crone is The Ancient Marina !

Beware the power of summoning plankton as where the they go the fish follow. She is the mastermind behind the others but not the muscle. She is also able to navigate in the wildest of seas and the darkest of night or mists without radar. All hail the Ancient Marina ! She also hate yachts and tries to destroy any marinas she finds.

The sun set on the British Empire, did it ? Balderdash ! The Empire's Avengers are here to put that lie to rest. The members of this group all conform to British (English, Irish and Scottish) adventuring stereotypes such as bucaneers and explorers such as Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh, soldiers such as Clive of India and Lt Bromhead (Rourke's Drift) and explorers such as Robert Scott of the Antarctic.

Their methods might be say less than legal so that is why they are in the villains

He still sees things in shades of military campaigns, and treats things according to the way the British military had always treated thoes pore foreign devils (treat the fact that being part of the British Empire is the best thing since sliced bread, and kill thoes who say otherwise, or that they think they say otherwise with there foreign words).
