It's been mostly good. Surviving the economy, got married. Been writing superhero novels but my current project makes it basically impossible to publish anything until the entire five-book trilogy (long story) is done. Never did fully adapt to 6E rules, been thinking about writing up some modules for Steve to publish. It's good to be back to this thread.

Ray Jennings is The Force. His ability allows him to amplify impact damage of anything within his line of sight. It allows him to throw soda cans like bullets, tear down floors from stepping on them, and generally ruin someone's day.

It also negates impacts against Ray.

Such a narrow power is not generally useful but Ray uses it to complement what the others are doing, and amplifying the impact of what his enemies are doing sometimes leads to their trapping themselves.

Redundant is a brick. Not realy the strongest brick, or the most durrable, but still a brick. All the villain groups he tried out for already had bricks. Bricks stronger and more durrable than himself.

He joined the Faultless Four, and revealed that his powers were more than strength and durrabley. He is also a duplicator. His duplicate is as strong and durrable as himself, and he can coordinate with himself quite well. He doesn't have quite as much Brick Tricks as other bricks, but when one of him can grab his opponent, and the other starts punching...well...

Pop Goes the Weasel !

She dresses a bit like the comic book version of Harley Quinn does the villainess that goes by the moniker Pop Goes the Weasel ! Her power is that she can make someone blind and deaf for a few seconds with her explosive pops. These were not much good but then he was hooked up with the Faultless Four and here her powers proved invaluable. She tends to wear a bullet proof jacket jacket because she tends to attract bullets as people don't tend to like her.

New Team: The Avenging Amazons

Henry Cranham was not the first to have a bevy of beautiful bodyguards/followers. He got the idea from the famous French crook Guillaume Duvall. Duvall was infamous as a thief across Europe and America and had up to 6 women bodyguards/assistants accomplices. It was rumoured that they were all his lovers but Duvall never confirmed this. nor did he deny it either. However the women began to disappear in odd circumstances. Despite the precautions Duvall and the rest took all the women vanished as if into thin air. Distraught Duvall was tricked into a trap thinking he was following leads to recover his ladies. He suffered an unnecessary brutal beating before being arrested.

His trial was a farce as it was rushed through the courts although his defence attorney tried his best to defend him and ended up being debarred and imprisoned (on trumped up charges) for his pains. The punishment was also severe and Duvall ended up in a maximum security prison. There he contracted AIDS and was repeatedly beaten by the guards and other prisoners. Broken physically, mentally and spiritually Duvall succumbed to the ravages of the disease before the turn of the century.

And he and his career would have faded from memory if not for a sudden wave of murders. Two of the guards at the prison, one current and two ex-prisoners and a police officer who took part in the arrest have all been killed. The assailants are women. And the authorities are on alert. They think it is someone who is trying to recreate Duvall's group or mimic Henry Cranham's Harem. They are wrong. Duvall's group are back and are looking for blood. They will show everyone what the phrase Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned really means. Someone has clued them in to the untimely fate of Guillaume and they have vowed revenge. Originally they were not killers but they are now.

Your mission should you choose to accept it is this, detail one of the six members of the The Avenging Amazons under the following conditions.

One must be a Caucasian blonde;

One must be a Caucasian brunette;

One must be Black;

One must be half caste;

None of them could, or can, fly;

None possessed strong mental powers;

All of them could speak French and two at least could speak English;

All of them are beautiful;

They all loved Guillaume and want to punish the legal authorities and those in the Underworld who aided and abetted Duvall's capture and demise;

They were all captured or imprisoned or ported through time in different ways but not otherwise harmed;

They are united and devoted to each other;

Duvall was arrested and incarcerated during Reagan's second term so the references The Avenging Amazons have are 70s and early to mid 80s;

Although they can co-ordinate well they do not have duplicate powersets;

None of them have battlesuits or change into something akin to the Hulk or a lycanthrope.

One can be Oriental but this is not mandatory.

Bonus points for detailing what took them away and why they have retained the same age when they returned.

Henry Cranham knows that the women have returned and is aiding them covertly as he admired Duvall. He is not responsible for what happened to any of them being far too young at the time.

Anyone wanting a visual clue can look at this as the group is based on the French artist Claude Francois and his dancers The Claudettes.

Angelique Beauchene is the Caucasian brunette member of the group. She came from a poor family and had a talent for dancing but that is as far as it would have gone had it not been for Guillaume Duvall. He saw her dancing and recruited her to help him in his endeavours. During one raid she was bathed in a light which gifted her with minor superpowers. It enhanced her strength and endurance but did not take her into the premier league of supervillains. However it did make her invaluable to the rest of the group. She was the third of the group to vanish suddenly hit by a displacement grenade which switched her out of phase with the rest of the world. Although to her she was gone for less than a minute nearly thirty years had passed. She was able to locate the rest of the team and then they found out what had befallen their beloved Guillaume. As one they vowed revenge. They had not killed before but now all bets are off. She is more concerned with locating the legal authorities responsible for what happened to Guillaume than the hurler of the grenade. One of the others is dealing with that.

she uses the name La Puissance

Inji Ko was born of an Indian father and Japanese mother. She led a sheltered life with her parents in France, picking up teachings from them until she became profienct in a type of summoning magic. While engaged in protecting Duvall from a rival criminal group, she summoned a spirit to protect her employer. The spirit did so, but it froze Inji in place for thirty years as payment.

Known as the Deva, she was one of the most powerful of the bodyguards before her paralysis.

Monique DuBois is the black member of the Avenging Amazons. She worked in cabaret in Paris when Guillaume found her and recruited her. She also underwent martial arts training and became skilled at Judo and Karate. She did not need to have protective clothing as the police never used to open fire unless they were in America. Monique was the first of the Amazons to disappear hit by a stasis bubble which kept her isolated in time and space. She was held prisoner and forgotten after the turn of the century. She was also one of the last to be recovered by the others. Again she was outraged to learn what had occurred to Guillaume and the fact that each of them had been prevented from having a normal life. The identity of her captors remains a mystery but the group are trying to work out who this is as well and whether they have anything to do with what happened to Guillaume. Monique is known now as La Combattant and still has her martial arts skills but she now wears a bullet proof costume as added protection. Monique is fast learning English in order to understand her enemies.

Lucia-Marie is the biracial amazon a straight up martial brick she is superhumanly strong and tough more so than the other Amazons. she is a striking beauty with cafe au last skin and auburn hair. Only the other Amazons know her real power Lucia Marie isn't a her she is a them Lucia and Marie where a medical oddity twins born to a mixed race couple one with dark skin and curly black hair the other impossibly fair with red hair.

Individually they are minor bricks but their real use is as scouts they are different from their criminal alterego and they have a mental link that allows them to communicate over any distance.

When they combine into Lucia-Marie there abilities double their personality shifts into a gestalt of both of the girls and they have access to all the knowledge and skills of both sisters. Based on this news story.

Gotta go through the criteria to make sure I didn't break one of DT's rules.

One must be a Caucasian blonde;  Bombadier

One must be a Caucasian brunette;  La Puissance

One must be Black;  La Combattant

One must be half caste;  Deva

Looks like I can make anyone I want, so long as she's beautiful, can't fly, and doesn't have strong mental powers.

Kendra Summers has a rare genetic condition that has left her completely bald since early childhood, though she often wears wigs to fit in.  It also gave her the ability to go mostly out of phase with reality, allowing her to pass through objects.  Note that word "mostly," however.  When she touches someone while phased, it seems to hurt anyone or anything she passes through, as well as herself (though to a lesser extent).  When she joined Duvall, she became known as Highstepper (both for her penchant for phase-kicking foes in the face, as well as her talent for walking on air - which it should be noted is not technically flying).

She initially disappeared shortly after she learned that she could step enough out of reality that she could effectively teleport from place to place (albeit relatively short distances).  She was trying to see how far she could "phase-step" when she accidentally stepped through time as well as space.

New Team:  The Four Seasons are villains of a different flavor than most people expect given their name.  No, they aren't based on the seasons of the year.  They're based on spices.  (Maybe they should be called the Four Seasonings, but that doesn't sit well on the tongue, now, does it?  Let's see how tastefully you can cook up this team.

(Did you guess that it's around lunchtime here?)

Edit to add:  And yes, I know the Four Seasons team name has been done not once, but twice already.  I'm imagining a free-for-all (or maybe a four-for-all) as the teams battle to see who gets to keep the name.

(Stealing a name from a classic character, quite inappropriately)

The Lady of Shallot is onion-based. Tear gas effects of general short-term STR, Perception, and maybe DEX Drains; blinding; damageless but disabling attacks using internal distress (massive cramping, or excruciating heartburn), a great effect for torturing people; massive PRE Drain by induction of riproaring flatulence; big Drain effects on Stealth and perhaps Concealment skills due to bad breath or, again, flatulence; Flash effects on Smell/Taste group.

Papa Paprika can pull objects and beings from the dream world into the living world. He can cause 'living illusions' and warp space.

Paprika was a stream of consciences book, and was made into an anime movie directed by Satoie Kon. Saddly, it was his last movie.

Chris Tennant is a chemist, amateur chef, and sci-fi nerd (not necessarily in that order).  He's also a bit of a kook, though in a relatively harmless way.  When he was made a scapegoat and unfairly fired after a major chemical spill at Dew Chemical Company, he vowed revenge.  Using a homemade lab (and all-natural ingredients), he made a variety of concoctions to help him in his pursuit of vengeance.  He has his own brand of pepper spray; jars of grease with a fire-generating element to create blinding clouds of smoke; bottles of oil that make the floor too slippery for walking; and his favorite, a blend of finely-ground herbs and a "secret ingredient" that markedly slows the reactions of anybody breathing them.

Calling himself the Thyme Lord, he is now ready to take his place in the ranks of villainy.

I defer to whomever would like to post the next villain team.  From this post, I think it's obvious I shouldn't be throwing a new group out there.

Well no and yes. Lolita I know. I've had to do a lot of searches for things like Kuro Lolita. This team probably should have been placed in the weird searches that would get you in trouble thread we had a while ago:) I think I've figured out the difference between kuro and emo. Now for the others.

I think I got an idea of twins (you can count as one or 2)

Kuro and Shiro are twins.  Like most twins, they are very close.  And like most supertwins they have a mindlink.   But their styles cant be more different.

Kuro-is a darkness/shadow specialist.  Able to manipulate shadows into terrifying creatures, and some ability to suck things into a pocket dimension of things surrounded on all sides by a shadow

Shiro-is a light user.  Able to blind opponents with flashes, and able to project "blast of light"

Note: Did I get the names for which one right?  Otherwise, I can switch the names.

I'll count them as one unless we are strugling for member ideas. Shiro is White, Kuro is Black, so you got it right.

The GOTHIK LOLITA

Erma is the daughter of a fear demon bound to a certain mysterious recording she is a little confused how her parents met seeing as the person who watched it was supposed to die of terror they certainly not supposed to fall in love and settle down in the suburbs to raise a kid.

Erma was a pretty good kid despite her mother's vocation she did enjoy a spooking other kids and babysitters but her teenage years have lead to a lot of angst her unusual looks and how hard it is to find cute boys who like demi demonic girls who could kill them with a kiss and joined the lolitas to act out.

She usually wears black lolita outfit but she actually ally prefers a grayish white funeral shroud style material her hair is long straight and covers her eyes which are black with white pupils. She wants to change her hair but it will not change in anyway returning to it's shape no matter how drastic a hair care approach she uses(we are talking flame throwers and chain saws here).

Erma is a classic movie monster her main powers are desolidification levitation (only about walking speed) but she makes up for a slow flight speed with the ability to teleport when not observed. She also has low grade telekinesis. Her main offensive ability is her fear aura a combination of change environment to make even the sunniest day creepy and a monstrous form power that let's her warp and shift her body hugely increasing her fear based presence attacks. She has a linked energy blast and killing attack representing her ability to cause people to faint and even die of fear.

Based on this Web comic
