The Dark Enchantress

As a child she was disturbed by the voices she could hear in her head. Little did she know that these were her distant ancestors who were calling on her to become the witch and the nemesis of good that they had been. Cutting herself of from others after spending time in a sanatorium, she was instructed in the ways of magic. She then emerged to fight the forces of good first by leading Raymond Reynolds's friend to the location of the Black Cavalier armour. She cares not for the modern world and only for magic.

From a picture that Major Tom 2009 did.

The Target

Percy Nothenham was an obsessed man. He was obsessed with proving the fact that Robin of Loxlie, better known as Robin Hood, was NOT a folk hero at all, but instead a master criminal with an overactive PR campaign, and his ancester The Sherif of Nothenham was, at worse, an put upon public servent. When Longbow and Steel Saxion started there crimefighting in Robin's name, he worked behind the sceens to discredit them, and failed each time. Finally, Percy snaped. They call his ancestor a villain. Then a villain he becomes.

Calling himself The Target (after the french word for a small shield), he started a campaign of villainy. Eventually he joined the Order of Mordred, using a combat style based on striking and deflecting using the small shields on his arms and legs.

Sid the Spiv

Sid is the quintessential Black marketer with his pencil mustache, pomadede hair, pork pie hat and camel coat. Sidney trotter was a small time fence up until one of his pickpockets brought him a very nice coat Sid bought it for a pittance figuring it was a luxury item and would be worth a few quid. What he found when he investigated was it was a lot more the lining was embroidered in thousands of tiny symbols is a strange language. When Sid tried it on it seemed to mould it self to him so it fit him perfectly he thought it had been black or brown when the theif brought it in but now it was a luxurious camel coat.

Sid next surprise came when he put his wallet in the pocket when he reached for it, it was gone he patted him self down searching for it the instant he thought about finding it it was back in his pocket. Sid experimented with the coat and discovered that anything that could be covered by any part of the lining and recovered with a thought. His next discovery was that it wasn't just objects he could pull himself into the coat and found that the other side was like a huge comfortable tent filled with treasures the dead body of the previous owner was an unpleasant surprise but quickly dealt with.

Sid is still mostly a fence the fact that the police can never prove he has possession of an item.

But he has found that getting the coat smuggled into a location is a great way to get himself and a few friends into a lot of high class locations using tricks like having it delivered to a hotel suite as dry cleaning or leaving it in the cloak room of a museum.

Kidnapping, smuggling and sanctuary services for other criminals are also useful side lines.

Sid isn't much of a fighter but the fact he can summon a arsenal of weapons makes hm still quite dangerous. The coat it's self is completely invulnerable to damage unfortunately it only stops some of blunt trauma so while a knife in the back will only leave a bruise too many impacts will leave you dying from internal injuries.

I'll spell it as Ogre for the lists.

Crossbow

Crossbow is an enemy of Longbow. He prefers to fire nasty quarrels which rip into flesh but he can use trick quarrels which can generate smoke fields, cause explosions and blind the senses. Usually he only does the latter when Red Snapper 'persuades' him to. What this means is that Red Snapper will tell him to do something and then tell him to take it up with Olive if 'he has a problem with it'. For this reason he much prefers to work directly with The Dark Enchantress or with The Black Cavalier

The Grim Gardener

The other main member of the team is The Grim Gardener. He is a colleague of The Red Snapper and is somewhat of a scourge of Covent Garden Market as most of his crimes revolve around agriculture. He is not a druid and has no real powers . They seem to come from gadgets and he uses chemicals and a gas mask when appropriate. He has a perpetually sour demeanour which lead to the sobriquet Grim. He does not trust The Dark Enchantress but does get on with The Red Snapper

Mentioned obliquely in the other thread but no pic exists as yet.

When confronted by a Steel Saxon and other medieval paraphernalia what do enterprising villains do ? Why they create their own medieval villain ! So it came to pass that Red Snapper and Grim Gardener concocted The Iron Norman. The first people who dressed up as The Norman were just whatever goon the two villains could convince to wear the armour at the time. However the Gardener realised that they needed to find someone with some skill if they were going to succeed. Also the armour was modified to make it lighter and more flexible. The current Norman was recruited and trained to take on the Saxon and delay at worst or defeat him at best. The Norman is the de facto bodyguard of the Gardener and this has caused some bad feelings from The Dark Enchantress and The Black Cavalier

That makes 11

Dr. Benjamin Quest   (no relation to Benton and Johnny)

An archaeologist/historian, his lifelong goal is to acquire the Holy Grail.  In fact, he claims lineage to one or more of the Arthurian knights who quested for the Grail.  He is one of the foremost experts on the Holy Grail.  He really isn't interested in the Order's goals per se, as his alliance with them is one of convenience to him.  But, he has proved invaluable to them with his knowledge and intel.

Although, not really a major fighter for the group. He can hold his own despite his unassuming and intellectual appearance.  He is competent in the use of several ancient and medival weaponry.  And in a pinch, he is rumored in one of his side projects to have learned the original, lost formula to Greek fire.

His original desire to acquire the Grail is thought to likely have been benevolent to humanity.  But, over 20 years, his obsession has twisted him, and for him the ends now justifies the means.

Note:  Used the Arthurian Grail quest for a character.  Don't look at me like that.  It was either that or a guy from Connecticut

Texas Pete

The man in black the fastest gun in West London Peter Cody Butterworth.

Pete grew up in the east end petes parents died in the war and he was raised by his grand dad who had a passion for the old West he regaled young Pete with stories from seeing Buffalo bills wild West show when he was a lad.

Pete loved the stories and wanted to be a quick draw artist he did his national service and he turned out to be a gifted shot. At 20 he started working the vaudeville circuit trick shooting and fast draw dressed as a clichéd cowboy.

Unfortunately for Pete the entertainer life also had a seedy underbelly he got into gambling and he wasn't as good at cards as he was at shooting.

With heavy debts Pete decided the easiest way to get out from under was to be a modern desperado he started knocking over Armoured cars and banks just like the old West.

Finding it pays better than the vaudeville circuit and how much fun it was Pete became a full time criminal.

Pete is an expert shot he doesn't like to hurt people but is such a great shot he can shoot weapons from hands drop a man's trousers round his ankles or switch a light switch with his twin peacemakers. Pete dresses only on black looks like a river boat gambler with a zorro mask stetson and a fake handlebar mustache

The Martial Artist of Black Shield Inc is  Tony Cheong. He dresses simply but it seems obvious to anyone that he is a martial artist. He is an exponent of Kung Fu and Karate and is renowned in the martial arts world for his skill. It is a puzzle to many in said world why he works for Black Shield. Certainly he does not live a life of luxury being spartan in living conditions on duty or off.

He does not use ranged attacks except to close the distance to an opponent or to distract them so that his colleagues can do their work. A particular trick is to fool an attacker that he is the last guard between them and their target only for the Chamaeleon to do his work. He is a man of few words and all but impervious to mental attacks. His senses are almost mystical in nature in that if blinded or deaf he can still take on and disable an opponent.

David Stone likes to go by the nickname Wall. He had an odd experiment preformed upon him, giving him cut, burn, and bullet proof skin, and the ability to absorb kinetic energy to increase his physical defenses. He likes to state "Nothing gets past the Wall".

Note: Wall does not have superhuman strength, only durability.

The Nightwatch

Vladislav "Nightwatch" Varney was a tier one operator with Delta force able to get by on only a few hours of sleep.

he always volunteered for the overnight watch his exceptional night vision and hearing gave him a reputation for being the best guy to call for night fighting.

All that was before the incident the secret Senate investigation and his dishonorable discharge. Vladislav went mercenary bodyguarding in Eastern Europe.

That was until the night the thing came for his primary. Holy crap was it fast the rest of the team didn't stand a chance.

Vladislav was sitting outside the primaries bedroom he heard the brief struggle of the rest of the team. Vlad was ready he shot a full mag at the shadowy blur that sprinted towards him but it kept coming .

then it was on him a pale feral face with terrifying fangs. Then the fangs were in his neck Vlad was struggling against the thing but it was so strong.

Vladislav was fading fast his blood pouring into the things mouth from his carotid artery Vlad wasn't going out like this he pulled his commando dagger and thrust it again and again as his strength waned bitter black blood flowed into his mouth as everything faded tunneling in and he lost consciousness.

Then he woke up in a body bag.

That was 10 years ago now Vladislav is the Nightwatch a vampire he is the team's best nighttime operator with his superhuman strength and speed he is a deadly fighter. He is still a decent guy mostly he buys his blood from blood banks but occasionally gives into the bloodlust in a fight especially if seriously injured.

Doctor Triskadecapod is a mad inventor who's a huge fan of Marvel Comics' Doctor Octopus.  He built his own set of mechanical arms (+2), supplemented with a pair of mechanical legs and a mechanical tail (which doubles as a grenade launcher, in the vein of Ankylosaur).  Including his own arms and legs, that makes for 13 limbs, hence his moniker.  Doc Trisk is the scientist/gadgeteer of the Lucky 13, often coming up with odd devices to deal with their current operation.

Normally, you'd think the massive number of limbs would cause problems (some limbs getting in the way of others during HtH combat) but for some reason it seems to work well for Doc Trisk.
