Shiver- Ashley Shaw was a high ranking ad executive but found her career ascension halted because she refused to trade favors with her boss for advancement. She was labeled an ice queen and cold hearted bitch at her workplace. Bitter and filled with hatred and desperate for some kind of revenge she attracted the attention of a minor demon named Zyzin who granted her the power to create a tough ice like armor around her body and an icy touch that would instantly freeze it's target. She had become the very thing her enemies had mockingly labeled her and after she gained her revenge she continues to take what she wants and wreak revenge on the world as part of Cold Front.

Frosty the Evil Snowman

Some people believe that if you build an effigy and curse it with the proper rituals then you can bring it to life so that it will attack and destroy your enemies. That is the common story behind Frosty the Evil Snowman. This being can appear and disappear at will originally only in snow and icy conditions. It is strong and immune to all forms of fire which has led to some heroes becoming undone. Its evil grin and manic laughter are a sure sign of its presence.

Winterchill is a man who wields a hi-tech fencing sword which can create ice and snow. Up close or at a distance, he us a cold, hard force with his sword.

Next group:

The Victims of Los Aesinaos.

Six villains who were killed by the infamous assassination group (you know the one, with the vampire and monkey and cat man...). They are not exactly a group when living, being only linked by who killed them and that they were all bad.

If there was ever a wrong time and wrong place that was the fate of Melvin Thwarp. He was doing a deal with a bike gang when Los Asesinos turned up and the earth like one told the gang not to hurt his friends. The bikers ignored this request and opened fire resulting in a deluge of mud that caught Melvin out. He was knocked unconscious and subsequently drowned. Revived by accident he wants revenge for what happened to him. Beware of Wild Thang. He'll make your heart sing. He'll turn everything Gravy. Wild Thang

We don't start a new team till the old one is finished, AND the person who did the last entry of the old team has the first right to create the next team. Which was me. So, please create a scumbag which was murdered by a member or two of the assassination team Los Asesions, or wait till you have an idea AND can follow the rules.

My bad, didn't realize there were strict rules for this thread.

So....

Captain Silo and the SMEs (cyber-psychic twins who suppress in computers and storage systems that which Captain Silo suppresses in minds) had just successfully pilfered the ability to operate motorcycles from the global collective.

They were in the midst of working out a ransom deal with Harley Davidson when they were discovered by the Los Asesinos' transport expert - Moto Monkey.  They soon discovered that their ability to suppress knowledge was of little value against the feral strength of Moto Monkey and his Me Wrench.  They had to be identified by their Starbucks discount cards when they were finally found.

There is no Moto Monkey. There is Spider Monkey. Basically he team from the 4th edition of Champions (the Big Blue Book), which is Stalker (leader and vampire), Montana (childlike earth elemental), Spider Monkey (a for real spider monkey turned into a human intelligent mentalist by having her brain experienced on), the Main (man in a water-based power armor which doesn't work half the time), Mosquito (man mutated into a small, insect-like bloodsucker), Ocolot (Hispanic catman), "The Dark Death" (Hispanic ninja), Tombstone Kid (evil cowboy undead gunslinger). Add to that "The Overseer" (former tough Hispanic drug lord) and Lady Twilight (Seeker's lover, and board vampire), and you got a rather big team.

Can your entry be fixed? Yes it can. The one who is likely to be riding the cycle is The Dark Death, and hanging on him Spider Monkey. Normally Spider Monkey hates humans for experimenting on her, but she makes a semi-exception to the ninja. Basically "I like you. I'll eat your brain last." sort of relationship.

Brit Lassiter was a corrupt cop gunned down by Tombstone Kid. It turned out Lassiter was but one of a long line of people who have worn the badge and tarnished it with abuse of power and evil deeds. One such ancestor was Bret Lassiter a marshal in the old west. His evil spirit resurrected Brit as a shadowy ghast brandishing poison dealing spectral six shooters. The Dark Marshal now rides with the Victims and looks to have her showdown with the Kid.

We can do this one next if people agree. But we need a number

For those who don't know Los Asesinos were in one of the rulebooks. 4th Edition Champions rules if I recall correctly.

Christian Hamwell was one of the beautiful people and a plastic surgeon so he could make other people beautiful. He did not care about the legality of his clients as long as he could improve them. His misfortune was to encounter Los Asesinos after a job. He took one look at The Maine and burst out laughing. The others did not think it was funny so Dr Hamwell was disfigured and his hands bashed in so that he could not continue work. It was reported that he was killed and Christian was furious. He lost everything. Now he wants revenge. Now he acts as the information broker and contact man for the group. They destroyed him, now he will destroy them. His new identity El Cubano

I can't help from imagining El Cubano wearing a luchadore mask to hide his disfigured face and having metal hands that replace his shattered ones.

Frankie "The Face" Giordano was a capo in the Trafficante crime family. Stalker and Lady Midnight were given a contract by a rival family and proceeded to slaughter the entire crew. However Lady Midnight was somewhat taken by Frankie's handsome features and did not completely drawn him of life. Thus Frankie was transformed into a vampire himself. Waking in the morgue and quickly slating his new thirst on an unfortunate attendant he soon adapted to his condition. He has embraced his new power as a major player in the criminal underworld and he considers himself the leader of the Victims under his new moniker Frankie Fangs.

Pithecophobia is the fear of monkeys and this was amply demonstrated by Nelson Compton who ran screaming when he ran into Spider Monkey who landed beside him. Unfortunately he ran straight into the Dreamstealers who were on a job. They had no other option (well they did but you know what I mean) and so they beat him up and destroyed his features, his fingerprints, retinal signature and history. Nelson remembered the Monkey and nothing else. So now he has returned for revenge against Los Asesinos as the change in circumstance gave him superpowers. Taking his leave from the story of Halifax in Britain he has become Monkey Hanger

New Team: Good Lord ! The Viridian Bat has returned for The Night of a Thousand Flashlights !

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to detail one of five members of the Heist of a Lifetime crew who have been contracted to do some of the work

They can be male or female but the group are not all men or all women

They are not master villains or able to take on teams single handed, they are more cat-burglar types

Roy Oxley was an amateur inventor and bored salesman who created the costumed identity of Spring Heeled Jack based on the urban legend. He created hydraulic boots allowing him to leap high, climbing claws, and a demon mask with glowing eyes that granted him night and infrared vision. The mask also had a small flame projector in the mouth which was more to create a frightening image, but could be used as a close quarter weapon in a pinch. Oxley enjoyed a career as a second story man as part of a crew of criminals with Jackanapes, Mod King and The Dandy. Whatever profit he gained he would gamble away however, and eventually was in great debt to powerful criminal Lord Gideon Gray. He would eventually die of lung cancer while in prison still owing a great deal of money to Gray. This debt fell to his only child Belinda. She reluctantly agreed to take up the mantle and being a tech wizard herself modified and improved her father’s old designs and works for Gray as Spring Heeled Jill. Gray has loaned out her services to be part of  Viridian Bat’s heist crew.

SnG

The speedster with the obnoxious smile, yep that's SnG. That is short for Snatch and Grab but he changed it to be more hip. He can't take a lot of damage nor inflict much so he relies on not being hit. But he is unbearably smug and is more than a tad overconfident. The others would not work with him if they could avoid it but he was the only speedster available at the time.

The man known as BugOut is a former cat burglar who stole a high-tech battlesuit that allows him to shrink to the size of an insect, and to mentally command legions of various insects to help him commit crimes.  Since stealing the BugOut suit, he has studied insects to the point that he's become a fairly decent amateur entomologist.  He is currently searching for a way to also command arachnids (which, contrary to common perception, are not insects), hoping to use that as a way to combat his frequent foe, Arachno-Guy.

Vache

She is plain and strong and is on the team to do the heavy lifting like the swag or doors you know the thing. She is a woman of few words looking down on her colleagues because she is over six feet in height. And the fact that she does not like SnG. She is French but does not let on that she can speak Spanish. They know she can understand English but she is to the team mono-syllabic. She also does not respond to insults the way that some other villains do. She also does not wear a mask, just plain clothing which as a result makes her nondescript as far as International policing goes.

  • 2 weeks later...

The Lock Tone has the mystical ability to lock or unlock any door, grill, vent, or similar covering not supposed to be opened by people who want to get into places. He usually keeps his thievery in the small time and cash to avoid any serious complications with the police. He likes to pretend his ability works through a screwdriver.

If we are to overcome evil then might we not be viewed as evil by those in the public domain who do not share our beliefs ? Thus did Glen Watkins become The Pallid Knight. His reading and interpretation of the Wheel of Time books and the Whitecloaks philosophy has only heightened and strengthened his belief. And those who fight under the image of any God other than Christ are obviously servants of evil. And are not those whose image looks like evil actually evil ? Why yes they are. You only have to look at Liberty Helle   in Philadelphia to prove that. Thus are not those who served in a regiment whose nickname is associated with evil actually evil themselves and should they not be excised from society once and for all ? Why yes they should ! Glen is trained in combat but uses modern body armour in a quasi medieval outfit.

And award yourself an experience point if you picked up a direct lift (sort of) from the Villains and Vigilante's product For the Greater Good

Holy Striker strongly believes that her piety and her strong training in various martial arts forms makes her entire body a holy weapon. Add to that the training in an Indian martial arts named Hammon, which channels sunlight into her body, which God has lead her to learn from the ignorant blasphemers who developed it, and she should be invincible. She plans to use said art to show the non-whites the errors of there ways.

But first she needs to prove herself. If her first can turn the undead to dust, then demons should be a piece of cake, right?

Most of the group don't have a personal reason for taking on the Devil's Brigade but The White Master does. His ancestors were killed by members of the Brigade so for him it is a matter of revenge. He has trained the others and helped indoctrinate the masses to the 'correct' worldview. He has immense strength when he concentrates and calls upon the power of 'righteousness'. Then whatever gifted him the power gives him strength and invulnerability. He is a brick with a great deal of strategic savvy.
