Egon is aware of everything on the battlefield. he is able to pinpoint problems and bottlenecks for his comrades, reduce penalties for darkness and smoke with his awareness for others, and track targets in his range wherever they go. He does not carry a weapon.

Since csyphrett didn't put up a new team, and that's six members to the Irregulars, lets go with something more current.

 

Viral Load is a team of six former medics or pandemic survivors whose minds were twisted by the virus or being caught in its consequences.  They think that they (and they alone) are qualified to save the world from the pandemic, as well as other threats (future pandemics, climate change, clueless politicians, unthinking civilians, etc.).  Of course, the end justifies any means necessary...

Burn, Burn, Burn

 

This member of the group believes that only fire can cure everything so they are a more than accomplished arsonist. The name comes from an Elle Goulding song which they seem to enjoy singing or dancing to before they set fire to something or someone. She is content to let the others do their thing as in the end cremation maybe the only solution.

Targetted Cure

 

Sometimes one person in the right place can change the world. Sometimes one person in the wrong place can prolong a disaster or make everything so much worse. Targetted Cure - TC to most of the team - was a military Sniper who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A clueless idiot officer, a sample of a seized bioweapon - if they had followed protocol everything would have been fine. Because the officer didn't, TC's squad died.

Now, TC removes obstacles from the path of making the world a safer place. Permanently.

Le Fléau

 

Magritte Valley was an artist known for her large complex installations. She lost her wife, who was a doctor, to the pandemic and was consumed by grief. This grief turned into rage with the focus being on those who refuse to follow the safety guidelines and who deny the severity of the virus. Her first victim was a politician who aggressively reopened businesses and down played the pandemic constantly. She affixed a mask to his face and locked it in place with anchor screws into his jaw. When doctors tried to remove it, an acid pack was triggered killing him horrifically. Next was the Last Party in which victims who had continued to attend social gatherings were locked in a room and had proximity explosives attached to them that were triggered if they got within six feet of each other. She continues to create these torturous scenarios as a harsh reminder and the lethal consequences to those who chose to behave with ignorance during thes. She wears a series of stylized Plague Doctor masks and ornate death themed gowns to give her an additional air of menace when addressing her victims and the public.

Orville Redden is an environmentalist at heart. He has decided the way to help the environment is to stop carbon producing industries. And the way to do that is to bomb them out of existence. A temporary blast of carbon is better than ongoing streams in his opinion. The media has named him Footprint from a note found at one of his explosive crime scenes

Phil Clarkson was a medic sent into a medical emergency which was actually caused by Dr Clement Blatchford. Complications were caused by Meggido turning up trying to kidnap the Dr so that he would work for him. This went south for him as the good Dr got away cleanly. Piqued Meggido reacted badly (which of course was to be expected) and grabbed hostages. One of these was Phil. Meggido arranged to have him brainwashed into believing that insurance companies had known about the virus for years and routinely let loose variants in order to kill off the population in order to feed their own premiums and to avoid making large payouts. Now as Adjuster Phil takes the war to insurance companies and all those that support them or pay into them as this is the only way Phil feels of stopping the current virus and later ones.

Doctor Samuel Griff is the Plauge Doctor, a biologist specializing in diseases and viral pathogens. Once a doctor general to a small dictatorship, he was marked for death by that dictator for warning his people about a serious plague striking his people (who the vain dictator had no real attachment twords). He injected himself with a general anti-plauge serum he developed before being injected by the same plauge the dictator hoped would devastate his country's poor, he became immune to all diseases but a carrier to various diseases. After killing the dictator and his corrupt cabinet, he developed a containment suit to protect others from himself, unless he wants to infect them.

 

New group: The Hallows

Members: 6 to 10

Theam: The Hallows are a cable of spooky villains and anti-villains who get together to keep the status quo in the current superbeing universe.  They can do big good or big evil as they wish. All they care for is that the level of supernatural and non-supernatural remains the same in the world as they started. They are opposed to the Devil's Advocates, who want to increase the flow of mana in the universe.  But they also oppose other cables who want to totally eliminate the mana level of the world also. And they are free to use any means necessary to fulfill their goals.

The first member of the Hallows is Doctor Abracore, the founder. He was originally a stage magican who was secretly a powerful mage in his own right and a superhero. Till one day getting wind of a plot of the teams leader Omega to seal away all magic in the world. He rebelled against the team, arguing that not every mystic and mage and monster were evil and deserved to exist. But Omega wouldn't listen. So he opened a portal into Farie and sent him through and locked the door. Then he gathered the other members of The Hallows to enlist their help in keeping the status quo.

Hundun 

A mystical entity and practioner of powerful chaos magic. They at one time wielded immense power and caused a huge disturbance in China that brought them into conflict with the Four Guardians. The battle with White Tiger, Azure Dragon,Vermillion Bird, and Black Tortoise left Hundun in a weakened state and they fled their homeland. Doctor Abracore offered refuge with the Hallows and Hundun accepted. Though they are slowly recovering power they are still able to use their magic to great effect. The results are always random and sometimes beneficial and other times harmful. Hundun merely seeks to keep the world weird and unpredictable and  opposes any who would attempt to control, regulate or banish the mystical forces in the world.

Darkwalker

 

Shortly after Doctor Abracore recruited Hundun, the pair found a reference to a being of "great power and darkness" in some old manuscripts, supposedly locked away under a Buddhist temple in Cambodia. Travelling there, they found the temple had been abandoned years before, in the Khmer Rouge period, and they cautiously sought out the prison beneath.

The mystic wards were all but collapsed, and it took little to no effort to release the being they sought. What they found was a ball of pure darkness, but as they released it it coalesced into the shape of a woman with raven black skin and eyes. She explained that she was the Darkwalker, the guardian of the darknesses in the world, the blighted places and corrupted creatures that stood in the shadows of the earth, eternal enemy of the Lightwalker, locked - until her imprisonment - in eternal battle to maintain the balance between light and darkness.

Darkwalker found the purposes of the Hallows to her liking, and has joined them. She possesses a number of useful abilities, to go into an amorphous, intangible "shadow form", to create constructs of shadow essence, and to teleport from one spot of darkness to another in the blink of an eye. (Doctor Abracore suspects she has greater powers still, but is deliberately holding them back for her own reasons.) One thing disturbs her greatly - while she was locked away for 300 years, Lightwalker appears to have done little, and is conspicuous by it's absence in the world of superheroes and mages alike. She is unsure what to do about this.

Carathus Drax

 

Every supernatural group worth it's salt has to haver a vampire and Drax is that vampire for The Hallows. Able to walk under the light of the day or by night Drax drains life force in order to live. He tends to target those who oppose magic and promote technology but those who use too much magic also tend to end up on his menu. It took some effort for Doctor Abracore to get his bloodsucker as Drax thought he would be disposed of in the same way that Omega was. It became something like an epic romance as Abracore tried to convince Drax to become a member and Drax warily avoided him. It was not until The Hallows were at the mercy of Dr Esteban de Rodriguez, whose unearthing of the Mayan Supermummy had gifted him with vast magical power, that Drax joined their ranks. The Vampire drained Esteban's life force and restored the Supermummy to slumber.

Carathus prefers to act on his own but realises that team work has benefits.

Ray Sunnear is the Sun Summoner. He randomly drafts monsters into existence to help out with whatever scheme he has going on. He treats the monsters like his pets, and they reciprocate his affection. He allows them to wander around his estate when not on a mission.

In which case I'll have a go. The Hallows are supposed to be spooky but GASP ! No Ghost ! We'll fix that !

 

Ghost in My House

 

The resident spook of the group is also an effective spy as it can leap from body to body and learn things from unsuspecting hosts. And this is what happens most of the time. For woe betide anyone who figures out that the host has a passenger and forces them out. That is when the real power of this phantom comes into its own. Remember the scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Ark of the Covenant is opened ? That's what the Ghost does. It terrifies people, scaring some to death. It strangles others. It's cries can cause deafness, madness and death. Doctor Abracore prefers to keep the ghost in a human body rather than out haunting and slaughtering like a maniac. He, Hundrun and Darkwalker are all able to force Ghost in My House into a body but they are not the only ones.

Other fighters against the paranormal have thought they have banished or destroyed the ghost only for it to come back. Unfortunately for the Hallows one of these fighters was Father Matthew Stevens. He is working on finishing off the ghost once and for all and then his team mates who has recently found out about.

 

New Team: As if law enforcement did not have enough problems, on 31st December 2019 The Viridian Bat declared The Decade of the Iron Gorilla. Fortunately Covid-19 put a stop to whatever scheme the bat was planning. However the end of the year is coming and some would say the new decade starts on 1st January 2021. So your task if you choose to accept it is define someone working on this latest project of the Bat which will indeed last for a decade.

Remember that the Bat does not work with psychopaths or casual killers. Those with panache and style are welcome. When we reach 4, we'll see if people want a few more

Grunthar

 

Grunthar is a huge uplifted silverback gorilla with two cybernetic arms attached to his body. Once he herd of what the Viridian Bat was planning he naturally wanted in on the plot.

 

Grunthar is a herbivore and has human levels of intelligence. He acts as the Viridian Bat's heavy lifting person. He has never gone out of his way to kill people or other uplifted animals or even non-uplifted ones. 

 

His main goals when working by himself basically boils down to survival in the human world. If nobody would give Grunthar a job, then he steals what he needs. Shelter? Old bomb shelters, abandoned zoos, or acting threating to scare a human family out of a house works well.

 

It should also be noted that while Grunthar understands a few languages, the only one he can speak beyond 'gorilla' is American Sing Language.

The evil genius known as the Sloth has a ton of plans in motion, but he is slow to keep them viable in face of sudden disasters such as heroes interrupting the works.

Metal Guru

 

This skilled woman is a whizz with anything metal from strengthening it to making it brittle to making it more malleable. She has an aversion to anyone who goes around casually killing people or those whose plans endanger a multitude just for the sake of it. The guru can act remotely by sending mannequins of metal to do the job, or enter the fray herself with a tech suit that deflects bullets. The Guru can also understand computers and security systems.

A.P.E

 

The Advanced Primate Experiment is a Mountain Gorilla whose intelligence was raised to genius levels by Dr. Stanton Stargrove. He learned to speak and read several languages and the mastery of various sciences and engineering very quickly under Stargrove's tutelage. Unfortunately he soon developed a vast superiority complex and desire to rule over mankind. This led to clashes with Stargrove and his heroic allies Bravado, The Noble, Rubber Maiden and Tex Tornado as well as Captain Congo when A.P.E attempted to take over his home country. He joins Viridian Bat's scheme believing it will aid in his goal of domination. There have been rumors that he, Metal Guru and Grunthar have designed and constructed a giant mechanical Iron Gorilla as a part of the plan.

Molder N Scully

 

Some people are capable of moulding the minds of others but Molder N Scully is someone who moulds the environment, who moulds materials from stone to steel. He is aware that his name comes from a TV show and that someone is responsible for his powers and his mental outlook but he is unsure who. And it might not be who you think it is either.

 

No more than 10 total in the group, that is the absolute limit. If someone wants to post another and then stop and post another team that is alright by me.
