I learnt my trade from Trapmaster. You see killing heroes just upsets all of them. So what you do is non lethal traps to knock them out. If they then can't make it in time well they blame themselves. Most of the time you don't need to study foes you can just rig things to catch them. Laser cages or grids for flyers, pit traps for bricks, unsafe floors, the works. Sonics at various frequencies stop people communicating. And if you ever seen that show on TV based in Argentina where they have to get through an assault course which has boxing hands coming out unexpectadly to hit you, well they stole that idea from me. Not that I mind.

Lady Spider

 

Lady Spider specialty is in burglaries. Preferably from coming in from the ceiling with climbing equipment not unlike a spider descending. That may be how she got her name. But, she most certainly isnt limited to that trick.

 

She doesnt rob so much for greed, so much as for the adrenaline rush. The 2 things she loves most is 1) To break into a place undetected (the tougher the security systems the more thrilling) and 2) to escape with the targeted loot or whatever the goal was to take.

 

As for equipment. Well other than the climbing equipment, glasscutters(or whatever else is needed for the heist). She always has her "goggles". No, ordinary goggles, these came from some tech (more explanation of her as a gadgeteer later) she stole for someone who hired to break into some military place. The goggles has settings such as infrared and telescopic sight which come in handy. Plus the ability to read incoming energy signatures (yeah, I'm kind of stealing from the scanners in DBZ on this one). That last bit comes in handy with many powered supers. And she always has a few throwing knives hidden on her person. Though, she doesnt particularly like killing (no fun for her). But, she knows how to use them well.

 

As a gadgeteer: Well, she isnt particularly an inventor type. But, she has an extraordinary knack for "reverse engineering" some of her stolen tech from jobs on several military labs. Apart from her goggles, most of the tech she has is geared for quick escapes. (so things to stun or temporarily subdue opponents will be likely in the mix)

 

 

 

And as a final note on her abilities. Yes, she has been caught. And, yes, she escaped within 24 hours everytime. Rumor has it she intentionally got caught, so she could take the "challenge" of escaping from jail.

 

 

Personality: Very focused on the task at hand. But, will be lighthearted at times. Will sometimes "flirt" a little with heroes who are trying to catch her as a method of taunting them.

 

As to why she joined this group. Who knows for sure. The likely reason is for friendly competition with those of like abilities. She would probably be of use to Rigger for reverse engineering ability to help asisst in making his traps. (and heck, who better to help you design a trap than an expert at escape) And given her stealthiness could be very valuable in placing certain traps about the area as needed without detection. You know, just as long as every now and then, she can borrow one of his gadgets for a test run on a heist.

 

Creator's Note: I actually came up with this one at work when a spider nearly dropped on my head while working. And yes, I spared the spider since it gave me this idea.

he walks in. he walks out. he stands for hours in places he shouldn't just being one of the guys. everyone remarks how friendly he was, that he was a new transfer, or hire, or an inspector. no one is quite sure but he called himself johnny, or jimmy, or jack.

 

it's afterwards when they discover things are missing that someone almost remembers enough to raise a flag for the investigators.

 

by then he's somewhere else, being someone else, stealing something else.

Five extremely masculine criminals who believe that society made a dreadful error giving women equal rights...or perhaps any rights at all. While they generally engage in normal supercrime to pay the bills, their ultimate goal is to "restore the natural order" of women being subordinate to men. Their internal disagreements focus around just how patriarchal the "natural order" should be, ranging from "just put them back barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen" to "they need to be treated as property, branded and confined until they learn obedience." Naturally, they are the sworn enemy of all female superheroes (and many female supervillains.) Bulldozer's application for membership is pending.

John Centi sat quietly thinking. He certainly wasn't going to associate with the riffraft in the cell with him. And why was he in the cell he wondered. What horrible deed had he commited? Had he been rude, attacked anyone, stolen something? No his great crime was singing. Sernading someone outside their window has been a classic romantic gesture for centuries. So just how was it in a week he found himself locked up for stalking? Of course he new the answer., Class, style, and grace had fallen aside. Rude, crude, and snide was the order of the day. But how? How had the country gone from a shining becaon to the world, to one failing in every endevor, but being able to kill people?

Women. It was the only answer he could find. The disentigration of the great melting pot into a multicultural mess, where if you opened your mouth you'd be sued for offending someone started with them. They were the first to demand special rights under the guise of equal rights. When they were finally allowed to vote what had they done with it? Bra burning, the sexual revolution, mass divorce, calling anyone a pig who dared suggest they behave with a little dignity? And what could he do about it? Nothing one man couldn't stem the tide. So be it he thought. If Barbarism is the order of the day, then I'll only follow the niceites in form.

A month later the Women's Political Caucus had a strange visitor. He was dressed as a dapper 1900's gentleman complete with hat. He rode an old bicycle into the center of the conference. Stepping off he doffed his hat.

 

"Good Evening ladies I am Johnny Century. And as you have adandonded your homes to fall to ruin, I see no reason why ruin should not befall this conference."

 

At which point he reached into a bag on the bike and started throwing exploding pocket watches. After making his escape Johnny was contacted by the rest of the Real Men. So I'm not alone after all Johnny smiled.

Francis Nelson hated them. His bitch mother up and got sick with Alzheimer's disease, draining the life out of his father (not really, to his honest. Francis Sr. also neglected his helpless wife and shut her out emotionally by this point any way. Like father, like son). Both in the care of her (Father walked out) and then half of his own bank account (Francis never knew how to handle money). His bitch ex-wife got the other half of HIS money (drinking didn't help) and the bitch of a judge ordered insane amounts of child support (not that he ever bothered paying. One day he's gonna ignore that restraining order too). His bitch ex-girlfriend then dumped his ass (Said ex-girlfriend he had been dating during his first marriage -- and who didn't KNOW he had been married at the time -- who also now has a restraining order on him).

 

The last straw was his bitch daughter, cutting him out of her life, daring to say he was a terrible father and, because of what she went through, she would never have children. That his "legacy of misery" would end with her...

Steven Phelps was a loyal and fervant church goer and here at least everyone knew that it was the priest who was the spiritual leader of the comminity, a man. But Steven worried so. First there had been the murder of the President, then equal rights for African Americans (as they are now called) and women, a war that America lost, Watergate, the Energy Crisis, the mass deaths of a cult ordained by a minister, the murder of American Nuns by Latin American hit squads, the forcible detention of Americans abroad by Muslims, an actor elected to the highest office in the land who it then turned out had Alzhiemers, pornography becoming widespread and popular, the destruction of a space craft shortly after take off, the President having an inappropriate relationship with a female staff member, 911 and the decision by the Church of England to remove barriers to allow women to become bishops.

All these things preyed upon him. But when a person with special abilities (or superhero or paranormal to the rest of us) was publicly identified as a woman who had made 'adult movies', Steven snapped.

A woman's place was in the home. Look at the history of the Wild West. Men were the frontiersmen and women stayed at home and ran the house and all was right with the world. Steven has become Minister. His goal to roll back legislation so that women can return to their true place and duty.

Steven is clinically insane but comes across as reasonable, terrifyingly so. He uses no weapons except the kind words as you get more with a kind word than a gun.

Mike Mathers used to be a fairly typical teenaged boy, perhaps a little behind the times when it came to attitudes towards women. But then he had the misfortune to spout some fairly misogynistic speech just as Opposite Day was touring his school. Mike promptly found himself having to be a girl named Michelle for the next twenty-four hours. Presumably, this was to teach him a valuable life lesson.

 

However, a bizarre set of coincidences and unfortunate events converged on "Michelle", demonstrating that every negative stereotype Mike had ever held or heard about women was in fact true. Even the contradictory ones. Afterwards, he became convinced that women should not be put in charge of *anything*, let alone be allowed to have an equal voice in how things were run.

 

Mike decided to take up the study of magic, hoping to learn how to sway minds or transform his enemies as he'd been transformed, to show them the truth. Perhaps fortunately, he turned out to be unable to learn mind-affecting spells, or those of transformation. What Mike turned out to be good at, though, was elemental magic, especially blasts of all kinds. He's joined the like-minded True Men as Artillery.

The Sheik. No not the Wrestler, the backbone to The True Men. Incredibly rich with about 20 wives, and about 50 concubines. They don't speak unless spoken to. They walk 3 paces behind him. They are at his beck and call. Then one day he went to America on a business deal, and was treated with disrespect over and over again by women.

 

HOW DARE THEY! Oh, The Sheik had connections, lots of connections. He started building an army. Clones, genetic material, technology, whatever he wanted. He would show those disrespectful women their place.

 

Next team:

 

“This is undercover agent Cortez, are you their PRIMUS?”

The woman looks over her shoulder.

“Please come in agent Gross. I know I’m not supposed to break radio silence yet….

She looks around the corner.

“For Heaven sakes I hope you’re recording this! I just found out something of most importance. DEMON has chosen 8 of it’s most powerful members for a special mission. Each of these 8 members were already powerful in their own right. Just recently each of these 8 have bonded with a demon. Each is gathering an army, and each is taking over a Continent.

Yes, that means that there is one member in Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, South America, Africa, Antarctica, and Atlantis. I realize that Atlantis isn’t a Continent per se, but they are using that member to take over Atlantis, the Oceans, and any islands. Each member was born on their Continent and will rule it if they win. I know that they are recruiting Empyreans and Lemurians in Antarctica. They are calling those members The Infused!

She closes the door and locks it.

“Now this is the worst part. I told you that each member has been bonded with a demon. That happened at the last full moon. Each day closer to the next full moon their powers get stronger. They are about twice as strong as the previous day. By the next full moon they will be powerful enough to take on Dr. Destroyer and Takofanes by themselves. They can even make their army stronger day by day. You must stop them before they get that strong!

4 DEMON members break down the door. Three members raise their wands at Cortez, and then… Static.

 

 

Each member cannot be simply knocked out or killed. The heroes have to find out the demon’s real name and force it back to where it came

Representing Europe, Johann Semper's lineage can be traced up to the 12th Century in Saxony. His family had always been cruel and sadistic, but knew how to play politics, intrigue and bribery just right to prevent others from looking too close into their affairs. It was amazing that there would be servants and staff still willing to attend to them, but who can truly say what money and fear will do to a person. Johann has continued that dark legacy today, with barely the trace of rumours of vanished prostitutes and missing school girls. As the new King of Pain, Johann feeds on emotional anguish as much as physical agony. Worst still, he can twist a target's mind and emotions to be uncaring and apathetic to potential victims -- or suppress the feeling of physical pain entirely. Which might not sound so bad -- until you miss the first sign that your body has suffered damage. He leaves his trusted manservant Nichol to clean up the mess and take care of any "loose ends".

 

 

What Johann is unaware of is that he is just another puppet in a lineage of fools and playthings his family has been throughout the centuries. Though he has tremendous power and fully believes he has been "unholy bonded" with a demon, the one who has truly been bonded -- and is truly in control -- is Nichol. Nichol's clan has always been working in the shadows, manipulating the Sempers for their own profit and enjoyment. Nichol and his demon are perfectly fine with people thinking Johann is in charge. Should it come down to it, Nichol can easily strip Johann of his abilities and prove once and for all who the real King of Pain is...

There are two kinds of personnel assigned to VIPER's secret base in Antarctica. Consummate professionals with drive and dedication, who are psychologically suited to the extreme cold, claustrophobic quarters and months of isolation; and the screwups that the rest of VIPER would like never to see again. Of the latter class, some screwups rapidly improve in their new surroundings, either by having an attitude adjustment or finding a niche that suits them. The rest, well, they're assigned to tasks that their managers hope they can't do too much damage by messing up.

 

One of this last group was Genny Hua, whose sloppy thinking and poor planning skills had somehow never quite managed to get her killed or executed. After demonstrating a lack of ability to handle lab assistant, border guard or kitchen police, Genny found herself on permanent latrine duty. To while away the long hours between duty shifts, Genny took advantage of the fact that she was one of the handful of female agents on the base to sleep with multiple men. At some point, her birth control pills ran out, and Genny forgot to get her prescription refilled. The inevitable happened.

 

Antarcticus Supreme Serpent Hua ("Ant" to just about everyone on base) was the first human child born on the Antarctic continent in millenia. This factoid got a small mention in the VIPER newsletter, but otherwise went unnoticed by the wider world as VIPER doesn't exactly advertise its secret bases. However, there were certain mystics who took notice of the stirring of eldritch forces below the icecap.

 

Antarcticus has been raised by his mother and a number of "uncles" at the VIPER base, which has left the young fellow with some peculiar notions about the world at large and VIPER's place in it. He had, however, been located by DEMON and deemed suitable for their "Infusion" project. A large suicide squad of DEMON agents and Lesser Morbanes attacked the VIPER base, killed Genny and stole Antarcticus long enough to do the infusion ritual. They were completely wiped out by VIPER's retaliation, and Ant was brought back to the base, his new status as yet unguessed.

 

The fire demon codenamed Surtur has taken over Ant's body, and through him seized control of the VIPER base--our heroes will have to get through the agents (though some of them are turnable under the circumstances) and base defenses before they can even start on Surtur, who plans to melt the icecap and free the other abominations trapped within it.

 

 

Even if the heroes manage to dismiss Surtur from the Earth dimension without killing Antarcticus, he will retain some mystical flame powers, and they'll have to deal with a child who thinks that VIPER should be rulers of the world, has just lost his mother, and has barely controlled abilities.

From Argentina comes Juan Veron who became Incubus. A long time Demon agent he has been spending time increasing his wealth and trying to destabilise Brazil. When the call went out for The Infused, several Morbanes tries to set Juan up for it or disrupt the ceremony in order to remove him. It failed. True Juan can't go out in the open due to the wingspan but the extra strenght, dirability and flight make up for it.

Also as Incubus he is intent on fathering as many children as he can in South America, so that if this plan fails there will be something down the line in 20 or so years.

People disappear in the Bermuda Triangle all the time. Sailing ships come from all over to ply the warm waters. Sometimes the ships aren't ships.

 

Gord Paul grew up on the waters, had a good business as a smuggler of artifacts and people. Being infused just allowed him to do that and more. The problem is he needs a lot of meat in his new form and sometimes he can't hunt down enough fish to fill up.

 

Too bad about that cruise ship, but a leviathan has to eat.

General Ugethe Mboto had always been one of the strong. Many of his family in Sierra Leone were slaughtered when he was young by the corrupt goverment's military. But, he survived. As a young man he joined the Leopard Man Cult. Thriving, he quickly became a high priest of sorts with the power he took from his slaughtered victims. Not only that he was also organizing his own branch of guerilla rebels. Even becoming the most bloodthirsty rebel group inside the country. Now, in his mid30s he had become a powerful warlord. Then DEMON came. They had seen his potential. So, they bonded him with the blood demon, Sangrias.

 

At first, this was a dream come true. He could transform at will now into the leopardman he had wished to be. Unfortunately, Sangrias, wanted control of his body. The strong-willed Mboto was not pleased with this fact. Worse Sangrias, seemed to be slowly taking control for longer and longer periods. Mboto sought council with a local witch-doctor.

 

The witch-doctor told him things that were most troubling. Through, the witch-doctor's vision he learned of DEMON's true plan. And that he was among the first of 8 that this was done to. And the ending to this plan was most disturbing. But, the fact that there were others like him was most intriguing.

 

With the hope from the "doctor" that he might could trap Sangrias in a talisman. And the fact that there were superheroes who would someday come to stop this evil. He hatched up a plan of his own. "If those demons could be trapped in talismans to serve our purposes, those other 7 and I with our resources would become most powerful."

 

Mboto handpicked 7 of his most loyal and powerful Leopard Men. And they began training. If he could just learn the proper techniques he would harness this power. And his 7 Leopard Men would go and help those others do the same. Then they, would rule the world, instead of those DEMON madmen. They would be the ones to be feared. All he had to do was figure out Sangrias's weakness. And he had to do it before Sangrias took over completely.

 

General Mboto A fierce, strong-willed man in his mid-to late 30s. He definitely prefers to be in charge. And he is one of the most disturbingly bloodthirsty warlord the African continent has seen in a while. Which given its history is saying something. He does have his pragmatic side. While he would like to be the supreme ruler over this envisioned orgainzation. He would be content to be a member of an 8-member council of leadership......for now, at least. He wants to get back at DEMON for what they did to him, yet he doesnt exactly want to lose this newfound power. But, he wants Sangrias, ON HIS TERMS, as foolish and unlikely as that may be. On the other hand, he is an extremely ruthless individual, and his elite group of Leopard Men are under the strict order to eliminate all those of the other 7 who either A) Cant gain control or Unwilling to share power. Is the general having delusions of grandeur? Time will tell.

 

Sangrias the blood demon. Well, actually, he is somewhat abiding of Mboto compared to most of his kind would be of their host. Sangrias is surprisingly just happy (relatively, for a malicious demon, of course) to be free to roam the Earth again. And this guy, Mboto loves to kill. The more those raiding parties go out. The more blood spills. The more powerful Sangrias becomes. He is loving it. But, he doesnt have any desire to be Mboto's slave. So, he has another thing coming if he thinks he'll do that willingly. Course, if he wants to go after DEMON, Sangrias hopes a lot of blood gets spilled.

 

Mboto's organization- Mboto is a powerful Leopard Man, who has gained power from the many sacrifices of victim's and the consuming of their flesh. He has become so powerful, he has abilities in magic himself. That and his strong willpower gives him hope he can overcome this Sangrias. He has a cult of at least 50 Leopard Men (and probably closer to 100). And many more times that force in guerilla rebels. And in both groups they are fanatically loyal to him.

 

 

Two possible plot points. One what if Mboto learns Sangrias is perfectly willing to go along as long as the blood sacrifices continue. Two,those superheroes mentioned in the vision? Does he have a plan for them? Has he made their eventual appearance part of his plan to bring the other 7 into an alliance with him?

William Walker is the Australian member. An Aborigine raised by the Whites he saw how his people were treated as second class citizens at best and joined DEMON when the opportunity came his way. True the organisation is not exactly pleasent but at least they are more honest and evil about it than the hypocrites in charge of all facets of life in Australia. He knew what he wanted to do and has planned this for a while, use the Dreaming against the Whites. Now as Deadly Dreamer, maybe his chance has come. If not there will be another day and another chance.

The demon he is bonded to knows that and has worked with him for years towards this end. The demon gets on well with Sangrias and Incubus and is working with them on back up plans should things fall through

Sandiya Kalpana is the forty year-old daughter of an Indian musical star of the 1960s. Beauty, wealth, and an inherited mutant ability to soothe and calm with her voice did nothing to make her a better person: she grew up bitter of her father's success, jealous of the easy happiness of her peers, and resentful of her business obligations. By 25, she'd joined DEMON, working as a destabilising influence within Indian high society and scouting for rare Sanskrit mystical texts. A competent sorceress and ruthless manipulator, she's well regarded by the organisation, becoming known by the codename Mahendri.

 

Unfortunately, the DEMON agent behind The Infused project was, unknown to Sandiya, a North American rival who she'd clashed with during an unsuccessful mission in Nepal in 1998. Consequently she's been bonded with the hideous, lumpen, carnivorous and violent Kabandha.

 

Her two forms allow a brutally effective tactic: her soft, enticing mutant voice drawing assailants close to her, before she unleashes her enormous, blue, many-armed, scythe-clawed demonic form in a burst of bloody wrath.

 

She finds it difficult to return to her human form until the demon has sated its appetite for flesh.

 

 

While Sandiya finds General Mboto crass and guesses at his disloyalty to DEMON, Kabandha is almost sycophantic to Sangrias. Sandiya is fiercely loyal to DEMON, but will carefully observe and manipulate the ambitions of the disloyal members of The Infused.

 

Millennia ago, Kabandha was the equivalent of an angel - he can be forced into remembering that his bloodlust is a corruption and betrayal of his past by an appropriatley informed PC... or by Sandiya, if necessary.

The expected member of the Infused for North America devolved into battles and backstabbing amongst DEMON members from coast to coast in the USA and down into Mexico. Just as planned by the one who became the 8th member, an Inuit Eskimo from Canada. Long have the Inuit wanted to get rid of the White Man and now Spirit of the North is a member of the Infused, that day grows near. Who calls to the Wendigo ? Who brings down the snow and the ice to blanket the land ?

The Spirit of the North managed to set the other DEMON members against each other to take the prize of being in the Infused. Working with the others will be easy and should anyone stray from the allotted path, then there will only be seven members won't there ?

 

New Team: The Marine Maruaders. They all have different powers through armour or mutation or gadgets (like a frogman in Thunderball or Never Say Never Again) and they come from the seas. Minimum 5 members (one for each Ocean but they don't have to come from around the world), maximum 7 (one that operates from the Great Lakes or the Caspian Sea)

Snakehead terrorizes the Great Lakes! A marine biologist whose gone off the deep end, Carl Berkley's research into stemming the problem of the infestation of Asian carp (aka "snakehead") in the Great Lakes instead led him to mutate himself, giving him amphibious breathing, powerful jaws and swimming speed, a hardened skull for ramming purposes, the ability to telepathically dominate sea life and a voracious appetite for flesh, specifically human. He has plans to mutate the normal snakeheads into a more dangerous force -- as well as find a suitable woman to kidnap so he can mutate her for "breeding purposes".

They left me for dead. Now they're going to find out how wrong they were.

 

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. Ethan Riggs, a young and, if I may say so myself, brilliant oceanographic engineer. A graduate of MIT (top of my class, naturally), I set my sights on the harshest, most unforgiving environment on the planet: the depths of the sea. Sure, most of those had been conquered, but by large, bulky submersibles that were at best mere visitors to the underwater realms. Maneuverability? Limited. Lifting and manipulation? Limited. Dive time? Grossly, inadequately limited.

 

I sought not just to visit but to conquer those depths, to walk upon them and work within them unhampered. That's why I designed and built my Deep Rigg armored submersible exoskeleton. In it, I could dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench and carve my name in the rock if I so desired (though I find the Puerto Rico Trench to be much more to my liking). I could walk the decks of wrecks such as the Bismark or Titanic and explore their interiors to an uprecedented degree. My removable Deep Travel Rig could help me move faster and maneuver better than the best nuclear attack submarine. And my innovative consumables recovery system would allow me to spend weeks below the surface if I wished. The oft-deadly Atlantic Ocean would be my playground.

 

Most of the so-called experts laughed at my designs, but secretly they knew I was right. That was why they derided my efforts, stood in my way, sabotaged my attempts at getting legitimate funding. That was why I had to go to ARGENT to get the money and material support for building Deep Rigg. To be sure, they planned to steal my designs and build cheap knock-off copies of it, but I was too smart for them. The small but significant flaws I put into the designs I gave them would ensure that none but my prototype could conquer the depths.

 

To this day, I suspect that one of my detractors had a hand in the difficulties that hampered my first full-scale test of Deep Rigg. To prove both the suit's deep-diving ability as well as its incredible performance at such depths, ARGENT sent me to the Gulf of Mexico. Modifying the blowout preventer on the wellhead of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig was child's play, as were the changes to the drilling riser. Unfortunately, I was so intent on proving the success of my design that I did not realize the ramifications of the modifications that ARGENT had asked me to make. Had I taken the time to fully study the schematics of the blowout preventer and drilling riser, I could have forseen the resulting blowout. ARGENT was at fault, not I. I was merely their pawn -- though I assure you, I will never be the pawn of another. Never again.

 

As proof of my innocence, I offer the fact that I was still far too close when disaster struck. I was actually trying to repair the blowout preventer when portions of the rig began to collapse. I tried to get away, but I could not connect securely to my Deep Travel Rig - obviously sabotage by one of my jealous detractors - and was thus trapped beneath the wreckage. I called for help, but nobody answered. As I said, they left me for dead. Their mistake.

 

It took me over a week, but I finally managed to dig and cut and otherwise work my way out from beneath the mass of metal that was once a huge oil rig. Finding and repairing my travel rig took a while longer, but once complete I left the area to seek the fame and fortune due to me. I would bring down those who once stood in my way. I would get my revenge on those who left me to die on the ocean's floor. And I would brave and conquer the worst that the oceans could throw at me.

 

My newfound friends and I would prove that it is not Britannia that rules the waves, nor any other nation. Rather, the waves are ruled by the Marine Marauders!

Sea Beast. When you hear a name like that you think Sea Serpent or Giant Octopus or Squid. You'd be wrong. Sea Beast is what you would describe as a water elemental. It rises from the water and is composed of water, the head forming into a never ending scream. It blasts water at targets or forms fists of water to bludgeon them. It has been dispersed but has reformed and appeared again. Originally it was thought to be just confined to the Eastern Seaboard of the US but it has appeared on the West Coast, in the Great Lakes, in the Panama Canal and in the Mississippi. Sea Beast is what kids who first witnessed it called it. Or him. There is some speculation that Melvin Prine is Sea Beast or became the Sea Beast. Melvin was known as a loser but not a criminal or a crook. He officially is listed as missing presumed dead after he was driven off one of those bridges or roads that links islands in Florida.

He has appeared with the Marauders ahead of their attacks or as they are trying to make a getaway. It is hard to tell when he is around if he is in a dormant state as no trace seems to be evident, until he begins to form. Sightings of Sea Beast at great depths are unconfirmed

They have forgotten the Old Ways. Forgotten ME. Once, they treated me with respect and honour. Paid me my due tribute. I kept the seas calm for my worshippers, brought them great bounty from my waters and called upon the storm to smite their enemies. Now, my temples lay barren or worse, destroyed. My name is not even a whisper when they talk of the past.

 

NO MORE!

 

I will show them the fury of the seas once more. Show them the wrath of a forgotten god who will no longer be ignored. And these new minions, these Marauders, will aid me. No ocean will be safe, no sea will show mercy.
