I bow to lucius in making the next group. I think both Bolo and I have started groups before, and I don't recall that you have. If you haven't yet, and Bolo doesn't object, please go ahead with the one you had planned. death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! New team Deep within the confines of the Libary the mad genitist the Fiction Maker has been boosting the power of six sinister people so they can act as expies of famous villians. His preference for steryoptyes annoys some in the group he has named the Literati. But for this kind of power they'll put up with it. Just so we are clear on this the Fiction Maker is turning six people into living examples of fictional villains such as Moriarty from Sherlock Holmes. He likes stereotypes so we should look at the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz and Rumelstiltskin from the Rapunzel story. Yes ? steriaca
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Benjiman Rofield was injected with the distiliation of mulitple villians from James Bond novals. He became a bald man with caped teath (as with the giant from The Spy Who Loved Me, who was the bases of the "Jaws" charater from the movie), losing his left hand which was replaced with a 'multi-tool' (shades of Tee-Hee from Live And Let Die and Dr. No from the book of the same name), a third nipple (the villian of The Man With The Golden Gun). He is also a bit lazy (a trait from Blofield from vareous Bond books), and is obsessed with gold (a trait of Goldfinger). He is a great shot (The Man With The Golden Gun), and an avid gambler (Le Chiefie, from Casino Royal). Fiction Maker has given him a small cade of agents called T.H.O.R.N. (reportedly standing for Terror and Hiendist Operations Right Now, but nobody is quite shure). As he strokes his cat, he thinks up plans for himself and his fellow Literati to give them control of the world as the Bondsman. As it was his destity to do so. Christopher
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The big, bad Wolf Big, upright walking Wolf-Man. He only has the powers shown in three Common Fairy Tales: Little Red Riding Hood, The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids, and Three Little Pigs: Primarily he has Superbreath (his is strong enough for bricks - both in walls, and the archetype) and very advanced shape shift (including all biometric characterristica, but limited in duration). And he can send people to a "Stomach" deminsion, but he has to grab them and seemingly "swallow them up" for this to work. They are expelled after short time and always at the place they where swallowed up at, not his position. Aside from that has some of the minor abilites of wolfes: Nightvision, Ultrahearing, Supersmell. He is strong, but tires very fast once in combat which is why he prefers to suprise attack his enemies from a good disguise. What the other don't know, is that she is actually a female shapeshifter with only one form. And yes, she does like Red themed clothing in her Secret ID
BoloOfEarth
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Fiction Maker realized that a cadre composed of fictional villains made real could too easily result in too many chiefs and not enough indians. So he imbued the discredited Dr. Sanjeet Sikh with the ability to tranform into a strong, tough proto-man, giving the Literati additional muscle to call upon. Now working as Dr. Sikh and Mr. Fynd, the unlicensed doctor can get his revenge upon a world that rejected his brilliant (and twisted) theories of biochemistry and genetics. Christopher
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Here is number 5. Next one to post, makes the next team. To say that the Evil Witch was a success is an understatement. However the Fiction Maker could not decide wich of the many witches to use, so he tried to put them all into it (using a machine that could even find written evil witches not even he knew of). And so she takes the form of different witches, their powers and their personalities. The problem is that nobody, not even she self, can controll wich form she takes and it is never certain how long she stays in one form. - at one time she comanded a legion of gingerbread man, that crumbeled when she switched - another time she used poisioned apples - and then there is the witch with her legions of bat-winged, flying apes and a rather well know weakness.... - quite often she takes the forms of witches from stories long forgotten, since the machine even found those in the past However each of them is an evil witch - she never takes on any good witches. steriaca
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Drake Karition was a rich and handsom man. Fiction Maker made him more handsome, injecting him with essence of Reight Butler, Mr. Darcy, and other literary rake charaters. He also added essences of varieous Penny Dreadful villians. This came Drake The Rake. No woman can help but to fall for his good looks while he ties them to the train tracks. Powers: +PRE, only to atract others who would find him atractive. Luck. +DCV, only against thoes who find him atractive. Mind Control, CON based, only vs thoes who find him atractive, telapathic.

Big Monkey
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! General Taira was once a high-ranking officer in Japan's defense force. His extreme political views, combined with his willingness to put those under his command through "destructive" tests in order to generate a corps of superhuman soldiers, earned him a court martial. He never showed up for it. Rather, he declared that the current form of government for Japan was weak and ineffectual and far too dependent on foreigners. What was needed was a return to the days of the Tokugawa, the Kamikura, and the Ashikaga. A Shogun became Shogun by seizing power and forcing the Son of Heaven to recognize his authority. And that is precisely what he would do. When General Taira was next seen, he was clad in a suit of powered armor (source unknown) that made him the equal of most superhumans on the planet, at the head of a group of superhumans whose stated goals were to bring Japan back to its "honor" and its traditions. His armor resembles the classic demon-masked samurai armor, in a black and lime green paint scheme.
death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Ieyesu The novelist Mishima tries to get Japan to return to its roots and failed. This time however the time is right. Ieyesu is one of the Japanese who consider what was done to their country as an abomination. Bad enough that two atomic bombs were dropped on them and that the country was occupied by foreign devils but to have the Emporer state publicly that he was not a god was unforgivable. Look what happened after the war. China went Communist and then Korea almost with it. The even made the Japanese parliament apologise to the Koreans for using their women to please Japan's soldiers. Where will it end ? With a return to what made Japan great. Isolation from the rest and the fall of China once again. Ieyesu appears in standard Samurai armour and weapons. He is skilled in martial arts although his sword is unusual. it does not radiate energy but can cut through most surfaces and he has even been seen to cut energy beams in half with it. Ieyesu is the lieutenant and has contacts in many places that will aid the General.
Christopher
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Yuzuki and the Neo-Wokou Few westerners know this, but even the japanese once had pirates. They formed during a time of trumoil, when the dynasties where weak and where disolved when they got stronger again. The fact that the current japanese government cannot stop her and her man, only serves as proof for their weakness for the woman know as Yuzuki. She started out as a government agent. Gifted with a sort of mental powers that focussed on telekinesis and the creation of force fields she was recruited early. But seeing how often the government needed western help for even the most simple tasks, she quickly started to consider them weak. The first time they realised her resentment, it was already to late: She had stolen the prototype for a new watter/air vehicle, the Suzume and quickly formed the Neo-Wokou. Her main targets are chinese and western freighters, but she does not fears conflict with the military. The Suzume itself is already very advanced but recently Yuzuki was able to complete a number of modifications: When she now sits in her comand chair the ship becomes a psionic amplifier. When channeling her powers she can make the vehicle invisible to allmost all detection mesaures. She can create a forcefield that greatly increasese the resilence, speed it up high amount or increase the sheer firepower. When on board of her ship and suported by the Neo-Wokou she is capable to oppose an entire superteam, but allone she is rather weak. She joined the Orochi in hopes of creating a japanese government - any form of government - that is strong enough that it could stop her. The Testushogun has apparently shown her that he is able to stop her, otherwise she would not have sworn loyalty to him. He tends to use her special abilities on places where she can't use the Suzume and as such she is most often encountered in a team with the others, only using her normal powers of telekinsesis and force fields. death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Typhoon How will the General sweep the forces ranged against him aside ? With the battlesuit wearer Typhoon ! Somehow the wearer of this battlesuit is able to harness the powers of the elements and hurl them against others. This is up to the levels of a typhoon which is dangerous in itself. What concerns the Japanese authorities is that they believe they killed the last peson to wear the wretched suit and now they are back ? death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Things in Japanese society have gone downhill since the war was lost. Both the ninjas and Yakuza were opened up to Western scrutiny. And a James Bond film was even partly made in Japan. There are more foreigners taking part in Sumo. And there are non-Japanese champions of Karate. Chuck Norris indeed. But by far the worse is the corruption of youth. This fascination with schoolgirls and tentacles is unseemly. They need someone to bring them back to their senses and that is where the Golden Geisha comes in. The battlesuit is golden in colour and vaguely resembles a woman. The Geisha will lead the women and children back into the old times.

Vulcan
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! A friend of mine ran a really tough trio of villians: Hook (martial artist with hooking swords and grappling), Line (Entangle specialist) and Sinker (Brick from heck!). The only way we ever beat them was when we managed to bait Sinker off from the other two, and we discovered their combat levels only worked when the three of them were working together... Each form can gives him a different combiantion of steahlt, resilence (the chicken can loose it's head without problem), and combat ability. Ironically his strongest form is not the Dragon (that one has superior Presence) but the Rabbit. That also gave him the nickname of Vorpal Bunny (short: VB) among his western adversaries, even if he never beheaded anyone so far.
