All Estelle Gardiner wanted to do was be a teacher and she was a good one right up until the class she was taking of Year 5s was attacked by a bomb. Estelle survived but 25 of the children died. And then the parents, her companions and the press all turned on her saying it was her fault. She lost everything. She was also driven from place to place by the story. After a few years living on the street as even the authorities would not give her the time of day, a savour appeared. Someone who knew what it was like to be destroyed and someone who would listen to her Sob Story. That person was unfortunately David Watkins. He christened her Sob Story and unleashed mental talents in her that enables her to make people live their worst moment in their life over and over thus paralysing them.

What would you say if one of the most dangerous members of the group was a homeless bum? Well, Major Oscar Wilderson lost his leg in Afghanistan. Then he was placed on a secret waiting list at the VA. He was bairly alive when Sorrow found him. And after some alterations thanks to Sorrow's powers, he became Broken Soldier, using his altared body and his military skills to revenge again the system who wanted him, used him, then thrown him away once he broke.

The final member of this group is Walter Nistring. He was a former Olimpic hopeful, an archer who was kicked off the team for drugs in his system. To make things worse, his girlfriend started cheating on him. One day, he killed her with an arrow, then started a murderous spree, killing all thoes in love. Soon, the police had him surounded. Then Sorrow appeared to him. Soon, he became their seventh member, Black Cupid, who uses his enchanted bow and arrow to kill love in all its forms.

Marceau Marcel lost his voice, face, and his business in a bombing incident. He didn't take this well and snapped. He devoted his to create silence by killing people as The Mime.

History mentions her briefly. Suppoosedly she killed her brother's murderers and then committed suicide or vanished. The truth of the matter is that Malkronos the Elder rescued her and is using her aid to assist his younger self as she is used to ruling and knows what to do. She is also ruthless. But the again she is scheming still and out to rule the future as well as the past. But when your brother was Pharoah what do you expect ? She dresses like an Egyptian ruler and has devices from Malkronos to protect her from cold and anything else. Her name is Nitocris

Malkronos needed to teach his younger son some martial skills. He decided that the famed kuniochi/fighter Ayane Kurosaki would be the perfect person to show his younger self how to fight, use personal weapons, infiltrate areas, and analyze what tactics his enemy might use against him.

 

She has been named the ninjato by people who have seen her in action.

Note: It is not "young son" but "young self". Time travel is a tricky wicket. (And yes, this group is sorta like a twisted supervilliam version of a certain time traveling anime/manga android cat with a dimension door in his chest).

The alias she gave was "Jane Heinlen", but when the mysterious old woman approached Malkronos the Elder, he sensed her more as Ghulmacher, mistress of death.  The older Malkronos isn't quite sure she is needed, but he was impressed by her wisdom -- as well as her necromantic powers.  And she seems to know a LOT about Malkronos himself...

 

 

Unbeknownst to Malkronos the Elder, Ghulmacher is a far-future version of himself -- who is now a woman!  Yet again, Malkronos is guiding herself to what needs to be done...

Sharpshooter

 

Natasha Krilenko was a trained sniper active towards the end of the great patriotic war in Russia. However with the end of the war, her skills were no longer needed and she 'died' in a car accident. Malkronos brought her forward to protect his young self. She does not get on with Nitocris as the latter enjoys luxury and does not believe in self sacrifice. And after what the USSR went through in the war these are things ingrained on the psyche of many Russians.

Cassie Crane was pulled from Mechanico Inc during an explosion in her lab. Her speciality was exotic weapons, her function is the Quartermaster for her new group.

 

She sometimes uses her new status to help her old group out when she can.

The sixth member of the group is clealy non-human (but is humanoid). Bulvana is an anromorphic cow from a dimention where anromorphic cows and bulls are the norm, and the technology is still in the wild west period (mid-1800's). She was a welthly rancher's daughter, kidnaped by an evil bull who killed her parents, forced her into marage, then tied her to the train tracks in order to enherent her ranch. Malkronos The Elder saved her in the nick of time, and she is a loyal servent and 'bride' ever since.

 

Just don't call her a big fat woman (as 'woman' is an insult in her dimention, much like cow is in ours).

The seventh woman is La Contessa Serenissima an Italian courtesan. She is a skilled diplomat and a master courtier. She knows how deadly words can be and how effective black mail is. Consequently she is equally skilled at evading blackmail and using a riposte to some effect. Her profession allows her access to men of wealth and influence with whom she enjoyed sparring. There were those who hated her for her sex and her use of it and would finally have done her to death as a with if not for Malkronos. She is rather cautious with her new team mates as they do not conform to the norms of her day. While Nitocris is closest to what she is used to, La Contessa recognises how deadly and dangerous she truely is. Bulvana is not someone she can make head or tail of (no pun intended), the Quartermaster is beneath her social level, Ninjato fights people and Sharpshooter kills people. The latter two are things that La Contessa really cannot get a handle on. As for Ghulmacher, La Contessa is horrified by her powers but surprised that the former understands the effect it has on her.

The Theme: This group of friends were playing dungeons and dragons when caught in a conflict between Demon and Viper. They have become embodiments of their characters with the idea they must accomplish a quest to save the world from the evil that is Champions/Until/colorful heroes.

Bartan The Red is in reality Red Bartan, a utility clerk from the local supermarket. In his D-N-D form he is a skilled swordsman/"fighter" who wields and talks to his magical flame tongue sword Glitterfang (much in the same way Sledge Hammer talks to his gun in the TV show of the same name). Note: This character os based on a D-N-D character of the same name I created/played.

Trandan the Mystic

 

'Little' Tommy Udell played Trandon the Mystic in the game. A office worker and quite obese his character is nothing like him being decisive, thin and a stand up guy. Unfortunately Tommy has been driven quite insane by what happened and is one of the group's leaders and voices of reason. His madness is not obvious as what he will suggest will seem quite reasonable to the group and to people living in a fantasy society but not those living in the real world. Trandon is a wizard of some considerable power and versitility. And he does not need bulky spellbooks to recharge. Woe betide those that think he does...

Jason Mawes was a stoner and hamburger flipper. He was playing his favorite character, Gomer Thief, when the group was blown up. Now he is a formidable rogue capable of stealing anything he sees.

Silas the silent was a character played by Mike Apple. The thief/fighter can talk but rarely does. He can turn desolid to enter anywhere, and he is deadly accurate with his knifes. But his favorite tactic is to use his ability to climb any surface, and blend into the environment to snipe people with his crossbow. For some reason he always seems to do the most damage when attacking from behind.

Runt is in reality Marvin Putzen. But he was transformed into his charater, a Kobol Sorcrer of verry short statue, but very high magical ability. And he is quick with a magic wand. he is prehaps the one most transformed by the acident, as his spieces changed as much as him being given powers.

 

Runt always goes along with the party, and plays 'stupid kobol' quite well. But behind thoes scails and eyes lies someone who would betray the group if given the chance. I mean, they must pay for breaking into the homes of others and killing there children. So what if the children are non-human and the homes are simply caves...

Allison Smoot always acted as the moral compass of the group in their campaigns. The problem is this time she was playing Lady Wu, a nun dedicated to fighting for its own sake. Her first impulse is to hammer an obstruction into the ground instead of peaceful negotiation. CES

Hapon Goldentongue was once Hattie Goldfarb, who always hated that she had to give up her chance at musical stardom when her mother fell ill, and she had to take care of the old woman.  She lived her rock and roll fantasies through her bard character, but now her magical music is very real.  (In real life, Hattie is only modestly talented at music, the kind of person who gets torn apart by the judges on American Idol.)

 

 

And now team #250, the America Smashers!

 

They come from the year 2026, the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.  Sadly, in the alternate timeline they come from the world has become a dystopia ruled by a United States gone mad with power.  Clearly the only way to stop this from happening is to use a one-way time machine to go back to 1776 and prevent America from ever coming to be.  Problem is that as they were leaving, a Freedom Police raid entered their hideaway and the controls were damaged by gunfire.  So the America Smashers must somehow destroy the United States in 2014.

 

So, five superhumans dedicated to destroying America, but their costumes, powersets and codenames were meant to fit in in the Thirteen Colonies.   Worse, they no longer remember the precise series of events that led up to the US becoming world dictator--they think chronal leakage.

Treader was once a loyal member of COIL till the American Dictatorship destroyed King Cobra and the Oborus along with much of the rank and file members (a job made easy after destroying VIPER). Treader uses his snake powers, scalvaged COIL and VIPER weaponry, and reference to the 'don't tread on me' flag to swear vengeance upon the forces which took down his king and lord.

Mayflower

 

This woman is dressed like a Puritan and actually believes she knows how America should be. However her compatriots might not agree. This involves returning the States to how they were before the declaration of Independence. This means Louisiana under the control of France, England and France fighting over Canada and Spain controlling Mexico, Texas etc. She has two suites of powers, one energy and one mentallist. Neither is that powerful but what she does have is versitility. She therefore needs the others to help her achieve her ends. And her powers make her useful to them. Her skill set also helps as does the fact that she has some acting skills. The espionnage and security skills they do know all about.
