Rosco Yonder was a simple small time criminal with a big mouth when Algol found him about to be rubbed out by his fellow criminals for his inability to keep his big mouth shut. Algol stoped time and offered Rosco his help, if he pledged himself to him. Rosco agreded, and Algol atached the demon of Procyon to him. Rosco used the powers involved to kill all the other thugs, then founded that his new form lacks a mouth (not that he needs one anymore, but the inability to talk is the only downside Rosco sees in this).

Power wise, Procyon is a 'anti-sonic', that is, able to absorb all sonic and sound around himself. Sonic effects do not hurt him in the least (100% Sonic Damage Reduction). He can even make others unable to speak for short periods of time (Transformation), teleport by changing his body to 'anti-sound', absorb all sound in an area (Darkness vs Sound), and even absorb the sound he would of normally make (Invisibility vs Sound). He is still a talented cat burglar. He would of told you that himself, but he cannot.

Robert Gigus, "Regulus the Great", was a professional stage magician. Well, not to great. In fact, his act is so bad, he is offen mistaken for a comedian. One day, he risked life and limb to try to steal a honest to goodness magical grimour, only to be stopped by a magical superhero.

So, sitting in jail, he decided to no longer care. And Aglol came to him, to bind him with the demon of Regulus so he can spread his not caring to others as Regulus.

Regulus can manipulate the minds of others to promote the not caring spirit. From illusions designed to make the exter-ordernary appear ordernary, to emotion control, to drain PRE.

While some of the group might have been human once no-one truely believes that Cor Scorpii is human or ever was human. It is bad enough that he resembles a giant scorpion and can inflict death or disability via the sting but he can also cast spells. This was a nasty surprise the first time the group came under attack and Algol was so hard pressed that the heroes had a chance of winning when the scorpion threw several powerful spells out at all and sundry. The spells tend to either destructive or defensive in nature, there is no room for sophistication in the world of Cor Scorpii. So why is he not the boss or second in command ? Simple. He is not leadership material. Brute force, certainly but no vision for the future and no gift for inspiring others. He is better used as a threat as Algol has demonstrated on more than one occasion.

Cor Scorpii is interested in all forms of holy objects and antiquaries not just those which provoke destruction or salvation, including those that are small and frail and would have to be used by the others.

As for the seven deadly sins he is most interested by wrath which he can provoke by hurting someone either with his poison stinger or by a spell, pride which he can invoke by goading someone to attack him to show how good they are by taking him down, and lastly avarice which he provokes by setting up something like a hoard like Smaug's treasure in the Hobbit and then letting the bait come to him.

Algol has never said when and where he found the giant scorpion nor how he got his powers. Nor why the scorpion follows Proycon's orders although Spica said that Algol told him to and it never thought to question that.

Victor Cambria as Vulturs Cadens acts as the group's on site transportation. Sometimes Teleportation from base is off. That's when they need to be able to fly. His power allows him to also control any object in the air as well. Many a flying super have been directed into walls before they could get things under control.

Victor is working on improving his top speed and directional control so that he can use ordinary objects as bullets.

Elphiea, Elly Feas, thinks she can control supernatural creatures to do her bidding through effigies. This might be true to some existing supernatural creatures. Most real supernatural creatures are just out of her range. In effect, while she can mind control one of Tyrannon's base soldiers, she will never be able to control a throne, much less the demonic conqueror himself.

What she really does is summon chtonic material from the Abyss and shape it into a semblance of the creature she is trying to mimic and uses that. An angel would be full of light and heat but be no more the real thing than a sun lamp.

It has earned her the derisive nickname Pokemon Master.

Alkaid was once better known as Meriem Ha'aqua, a serving girl in a Moroccan casino.  Treated poorly by her employers, she was constantly on the edge of starvation.  She began filching food from the buffet set out for the casino guests.  Eventually she was caught, and the casino's cruel owner poured a caustic mixture down her throat as an "ironic" method of murder.  It was at this point that her powers kicked in, allowing her to spew acids or alkaline mixtures from her mouth and nose.  She took over the casino for a short while, until the owner's silent partners showed up with ways to counter her abilities.

She was barely alive when the Behanians collected her for their group.  Her interest is in items that create food and drink, locking them away from the world so that no one can enjoy them--as her powers have destroyed her senses of taste and smell.

New Team: Tartarus' Ten

Numbers: Ten

Theam: Tartarus gathered nine other supervillans to act like support to him, as he goes about in his delusion that he is a demon of darkness. Will the others see through his delusion, or be enraptured by it?

Eager Beaver

Was he a man that got turned into a beaver or was he a beaver that got intelligence ? Only a telepath knows for sure provided they can get past the telepathic scream he radiates. Eager Beaver looks like a human sized beaver and is often mistaken for a furry. Have pity on the poor police officers and other custodians of the law who went looking for a velcro strip or zip that was just not there and got walloped with the tail. Don't feel any sympathy for the drunks who made the same mistake though. Eager Beaver digs tunnels and build damns (rather big beaver dams) and is an enthusiatic follower of Tartarus. Whether he knows Tartarus is delisional does not seem to be relevant, Eager Beaver follows him. The Beaver is more of a support player but, hey, you take followers where you get them.

I know it is bad form to post an entry on the team you started, but by detailing the leader, you can easily detail the members.

Tartarus was the psychologist Trever Thuroes before his downfall into delusion. After a conversation between another psychologist about what is better for a super, to be beloved or feared, it stucked hard into his head about his choice of being feared is better. So he went to an underworld techman and bought a anti-grav costume and a force field harness which projects a black force field upon him AND alowes him to change its shape. He commited crimes as Tartarus, calling himself a demon of darkness.

Eventually, he started to, um, drink his own kool-ade. He started to believe his own hype. He was a fearsome demon, in his own mind. A pitty that his view of demonic evil is more silly than scary.

I don't think it is bad form to post on the team you started and have done so quite a few times. Quite a few of us have done this as well.

So why hasn't a real powerful demon taken out Tartarus ? Simple ! One of his followers is the nefarius Daniel Webster VII. Daniel's enemies include all the members of Infernal Affairs, Diabolicus, The Corruption and The Dreamstealers. And one of Daniel's powers which his enemies have not discerned is an insane level of luck against the forces of evil. Not mild evil like the common or garden supervillain but real evil like demons, devils etc. Daniel's power will not work against normal police officers or those that are pure which surprisingly includes a couple of supervillains. Daniel has a lot of connections, is a financial wizard and an unrepentant thief. Daniel knows that Tartarus is not a real demon but here is the twist. Because Daniel works for Tartarus, some people believe that Tartarus is a real demon and is the source of Daniel's powers or indeed is his benefactor. This makes them tread carefully. After all no-one wants a repeat of what happened to the Malchias, demon prince of Attria now trapped as an action figure and lost in a warehouse.

Note: The Unforgiven, of Infernal Affairs, is one of those that is avoiding Daniel and taking no part in going after him. The reason for this is not Daniel's power but a set of rather sneaky spells cast by the Sophia and the Sybll which have made The Unforgiven believe that if he directly, or even indirectly, takes down Daniel then he will lose all his powers and be at the mercy of his enemies. So the feared sorceror is letting his colleagues deal with him instead. It amuses The Unforgiven's patrons that he has been fooled in this way as it neither enhances or diminishes his reputation, so for now they are letting him believe the lie.

Knockoff no longer knows his/her/its real name--Knockoff's powers allow him to turn into a copy of any other person, with most of their memories, skills, and powers, but an inferior version twisted towards petty crime.  Knockoff's ability to stay in any form is inversely proportional to their power level--he could hold the shape of a helpless infant for up to a year but Doctor Destroyer for only a second.  When Knockoff runs out of time on a form or is knocked out, he/she/it reverts to the last previous form that still has some time on it (usually that helpless infant.)

Barry Codas, Bar Code, is a type of psychometrist. Psychometry is the ability to get impressions from objects while touching them. Bar Code knows everything about something, or someone, when he looks at it. It shows up as a list in the air. This talent has allowed his team to escape from problems by using bus routes, traffic, heart attacks. It is also fundamental for estimating the worth of what they have taken.

The bar code file is stopped by solid cover like walls and forcefields. Obviously it says a wall of concrete or field, but not what's concealed by it.

What does every demon team leader need ? Exactly ! A consort. And oh boy is she a stunner ! (or is she ?). A brunette of some sophistication she usually hangs back when the fighting starts as her apparal is not conducive to fighting i..e high heels and dresses that show a bit of leg and a decent amount of decolletage. Somehow, someway her presence seems to help throwing off enemy attacks and allowing the Tartarus Ten to fight better. Some say that this is all an illusion and that she is really an old withered crone like Baba Yaga. But there is no proof of that. Others say that she is a vampire but again there is no proof of that either. And does she know the truth of Tartarus ? Elizabeta Nigma just smiles like the Enigma she is.

They are called Tellermen. First reported in the 1960s these things are akin to robots but are made of a tough plastic. The activation code has been lost and no-one knows who originally created them. Certainly no-one has been able to replicate the process nor how to use the en masse. This is despite a thorough vivisection by renowned scientists and a less than thorough (but extremely violent) dismemberment by Good Old Bob using a standard chainsaw. Supposedly there are a few stored by the Pentagon and the Kremlin. Each one looks like a 6 foot 5 inch mannequin in a quasi policeman uniform. Various times they have been brought in action for an individual or a team and have served on both sides of the law. Telepathy awakened one but no others. A child awakened another. And now Tartarus has one. It says nothing but it obeys his orders. Yeah, his. No-one else's. Daniel Webster VII desperately wants one for example. It is far stronger than a normal human and if tasked attacks at full tilt, there is no subtlety to it. It can fetch and carry but the others don't tend to use it for that as its combat abilities are what makes it so prized and so very dangerous. This one has been designated as Tartarus Tellerman. And Tartarus claims he summoned it to serve him. Unsurprisingly there is no-one who believes that. They'd sooner believe Daniel Webster VII.

NB:- They look like this and it is what inspired me.

Odd Ball, Oliver Ball, is a mutant with the ability to create small force orbs. Saved by Tartarus against a group of mutant haters, he pledged his loyalty and soul to him. Yes, you guessed it, this guy is enraptured with Tartarus, and believes he is a real demon.

We are down to 2. So, since I got another ideal, and their is a small delay in ideals, I'll finish off the set.

Who would of thought that real demons would work for Tartarus. Garlon and Frolon are two imps sentenced to Earth for behavior unbecoming a demon. Tartarus thinks of them as mutant animals, with only a certain decentant of a lawyer knowing the truth.

New group.

Name: The Church Of Dio Brando

Members: 6

Notes: The six members are Stand Users from the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure universe. All members have normal names, but their Stands all are named after music groups, music songs, and/or music ablums. (just check Wikipedia to make certain you don't use a name which is already in that universe, like Another One Bites The Dust, or Gold Experience).

Delius Amitri is a vampire dedicated to the work of the great Dio Brando. So taking over a church or perverting the intention of a church is just what he believes is right. He is a slightly pale Caucasian with hair down to his shoulders which is kept back from his face. He has long sideburns and a spot of hair that is all that appears to be a beard under his bottom lip. (Based on the old Scottish band Del Amitri)

Somebody forgot something...what is this guy's Stand? Where is his Stand? What do people with Stands call his Stand? Holy Diver (a Dio song)? Rainbow (a group fronted by Ronny James Dio)? Abagal (a album by eather King Diamond  or Merciful Fate)? The Wall? In 3D (a "Weird Al" Yankavic album)?
