In our experience, the moms don't go as fast as the wee ones, but they do go. One mom actually came back a couple of times; she was rather vocal, and said so and had that note on her adoption information; obviously the first two to try taking her one didn't realize we meant it. This mom (we called her "Flossie") is a talker too, but quite affectionate. Both the remaining kitten and the mom are black, while the ones with other colors went first.

I still haven't found out how our foster kitten did at her first adoption event last weekend. Hoping to get the current foster spayed soon and out the door near the end of October with a friend who is interested. Which is when our hospice foster cat is going home after four years of being in our home. (We'll keep our guest room cat free for a bit so my wife can setup her crafts finally)
