SKJAM!
Over at Crunchyroll, they're streaming a show titled "Tiger Mask W." It's set in a world where professional wrestling is 100% real and the evil Global Wrestling Monopoly is trying to take over the Japanese market. It guest stars real world wrestlers; the Bullet Club appeared in the episode "Don't Be a Softy!"
death tribble
And now they have let Bayley win the Women's championship on RAW. Expect Charlotte to win it back on the next pay per view which is called FASTLANE.
death tribble
Bayley is still champion going into Wrestlemania. The plan according to people is to have Sasha Banks turn heel. The Smackdown women's championship was to be in the pre-show but social media onslaught got it moved to Wrestlemania proper. Also and perhaps most unpopular of all. Roman Reigns is supposed to retire the Undertaker. And it might be the last match.

Dunno if it's Taker's last match, though they definitely had Roman Reigns beat him and it was definitely the last match. The reaction seems to be indifference which to my mind is WAY worse then the massive booing. After all, indifference means they just don't care. death tribble
A J Styles defeated Shane McMahon Rollins defeated Triple H Ambrose defeated Baron Corbin and retained The Hardy Boys returned which some had flagged and won gold. Bayley is still champ but they did not do the Sasha Banks heel turn which was anticipated. Lesner finally defeated Goldberg to win a championship so let's see how long he hold this one. Owens defeated Jericho to win the a championship. Orton defeated Wyatt to win the Smackdown championship. Cena best the Miz and then proposed to Nikki Bella Naomi regained the Smackdown Women's championship Reigns defeated the Undertaker
death tribble
From Twitter feeds after the match and the fact that he left his gear in the ring, it appears as if The Undertaker has retired. He is on Twitter as well and his tweet seems to prove it.

death tribble
Jinder Mahal defeated Randy Orton to win his first championship. He is of (Asian) Indian descent so kudos to the organisation for putting the belt on him. Unlike the Great Khali he has the physique to look a credible threat. I have not seen a match so can't say other than that

death tribble
On a non-WWE note, Rosemary the Demon Assassin was injured in Mexico on Saturday. An arm bar was applied by Sexy Star and then kept on instead of being released. Rosemary has had support from other wrestlers and her employers Impact. Sexy Star in the meantime was forced to apologise to Rosemary after Vampiro brought her back to the arena. However she then stated saying it was a work. This has got her in trouble and Rosemary herself has stated that Star is a liar. From her Twitter feed it looks like she is ok although she has bruised muscles. It's a shame that Asuka and Rosemary are both out at the moment with injuries.
death tribble
Ric Flair has posted that he is ok and now wears a shirt saying 'I'm not BLEEPING dead yet' and the bleep is shown by asterisks.
death tribble
The WWE had to reshuffle their card at the weekend as a viral outbreak took out a few of their wrestlers. The SHIELD were due to face The Miz, Sheamus and Ceasero, Kane and Braun Strowman but Roman Reigns was replaced by Kurt Angle. The SHIELD won when Angle pinned The Miz. Similarly Bray Wyatt was due to face Finn Balor but was replaced by AJ Styles. Finn won. Asuka had her first match.and predictably won it. Enzo Amore won the cruiserweight title back. death tribble
There is going to be a Women's Royal Rumble Match next year at the Royal Rumble. AJ Styles beat Jinder Mahal and has retained the belt going into the New Year. Jericho attacked Kenny Omega and will face him at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in January. Both of them could potentially end up at the Royal Rumble but don't bet on it. Matt Hardy is using the 'Broken' gimmick in WWE and feuding with Bray Wyatt. Both look good in promos because of it. death tribble
Not WWE but... Have now been able to watch the Kenny Omega vs Okada matches from New Japan. They are amazing. The first one is 30 mins and the sequel is an hour. The first match is available on full in Youtube and I found the 2nd match elsewhere. These are the matches that broke Dave Melzer's system. He awarded the first 6 stars out of five and the second six and a quarter stars out of five. The timing in both is incredible. Among the best I have ever seen and I had no experience or vested interest in either wrestler. This gives me great expectations for Omega vs Jericho on January 4th. death tribble
Omega vs Jericho was brutal. The following match Naito vs Okada is better This is Wrestle Kingdom 12 in New Japan

death tribble
Hard hitting. It was no disqualification. If you want to see a good match Okada vs Naito is for you. Both matches were on Youtube yesterday but I can see them being yanked quickly. The Okada vs Omega from Wrestle Kingdom 11 is also on Youtube (entire match) but I had to go elsewhere to see the return match at Dominion. These matches are quite incredible. death tribble
The 25th Anniversary of Raw is War was according to various wrestling reporting bodies underwhelming. While many old hands turned up like The Million Dollar Man and The APA, nothing major happened. Yes Mr McMahon was Stone Cold stunnered and the Dudley Boys put someone through a table. But otherwise it was felt to be a letdown. Roman Reigns lost the Intercontinental Title to The Miz. The Undertaker appeared and seemed to confirm his retirement. Also all the fans who showed up to the Manhattan Center were hosed, as the majority of the show was held in another building entirely. JR and Jerry Lawler had so little to do that they fell asleep at the commentary table.
death tribble
No real surprises in the undercard on the Royal Rumble. Lesner won, Styles won and the USOs won. Cesero and Sheamus took the other tag team titles. Asuka won the woman's Rumble and Nakamura won the men's. Nakamura will go after Styles. Asuka had a surprise as Rhonda Rousey came in and indicated that whichever of Alexa Bliss or Charlotte Flair that Asuka went after, she was going after the other.
