WWE Snark-Free Zone

It was mentioned quite a few times in anecdotes even in Hall of Fame ceremonies like when Sherri Martel was admitted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. It was just that no-one chose to make an issue of it until now. More attention was paid to the Brock Lesner vs Curt Henning fight which could have opened a door mid-flight with catastrophic results.

No major changes from Crown Jewel. All title holders retained their titles. Reigns defeated Lesner which might be a surprise to some.

Xavier Woods won the King of the Ring tournament against Finn Balor and Zelina Vega beat Doudrop to become the inaugural Queen's Crown champion.

Woods win is interesting as both Big E and Kofi have become Champions so it may mean that WWE will make him a Men's singles champion as well.

Was it Moose beating Josh Alexander ?

It was.  They've been building Josh Alexander up for months now, establishing him as one of the greatest X-Division champs ever and he cashes in his title at the last PPV to get a shot at the world title at Bound for Glory.  The booking revolved around Christian Cage vs Josh Alexander for the Impact World Title.  So after all that brilliant booking of Josh Alexander at the end of Bound for Glory they piss it all away to put the title on Dollar Store Bobby Lashley.

Yes, but they have been building up a lack of leadership amongst them and I don't see Page being that.

I think they really need to pay off Page defeating Omega for the championship. It has really been over a year in the making.

I would also like to say, with all the talent they have, why is Bobby Fish getting a boost? they have so many young guys that need these pushes, not a guy who has been around 18 years as a midcarder. Maybe just me, not knowing him well.

So the previous Saturday I went to a wrestling show in my hometown.  Just a local show, I doubt you'd have heard of anybody wrestling on it unless you're from Ontario and follow the indy scene there.  That being said the show was enjoyable, the wrestlers worked hard to entertain the fans and I got some nice merch.  Why am I bringing this up? Well every thing's been kinda dismal lately, what with WWE cutting so many people during the pandemic and all.  I figured you all might appreciate a pleasant wrestling story.  A small one to be sure, but pleasant none the less. ☺️
