GhostDancer
Today is winter soltice, shortest day of the year, paired with a lunar eclipse, which has not coincided for ~450 years. Sounds like a good horror story / game premise. Cheers, Will "Suffice"

Steve
Re: The Darkness Which would mean that they keep getting longer south of the Equator... or do they get shorter there too? If the days kept getting shorter only North of the Equator, wouldn't that mean the Earth was changing its axis? Sounds more like a Post-Apoc premise. Manic Typist
Re: The Darkness Remind me- if the days' length changes in the northern hemisphere (i.e. via an axis shift).... wouldn't that necessarily entail that the days change in the southern hemisphere? Beast
Re: The Darkness it would mean a slow wobble that locks the northern hemisphere away from the sun

Sidetrack
Re: The Darkness Which would mean that they keep getting longer south of the Equator... or do they get shorter there too? They are getting longer here in the southern hemisphere, it's summer time.
