I have no doubt whatsoever that, if this new show does get a good start, that fanfic writers will have fresh grist for their mills -- especially the ones who write fanfics for the 2003 version of Battlestar Galactica. I can easily imagine a story based upon the final episode of the series ("Daybreak") -- only instead of arriving at the Earth of 150,000 years in the past, the fleet would wind up appearing over the post-cyberapocalyptic Earth of Captain Power's time.
